Suzy pouted, and drew her legs onto the table to her chest. She thought she'd been behaving reasonably... "Yes, Alexis... I'm sorry, I just thought-" she started slowly, cut off as the civvies came up to the table.

Suzy watched the apparent younger sister of Rika go, raising an eyebrow, barely noticeably. At the offer, her face broke into a weak half-smile, and she looked up at Alexis. "Nono, I have no complaints... We could use the ammo, to be sure, but... Where'd you guys get our stuff from? I thought it was only used for military firearms?" she said, looking inquisitively at Rika.

Kita sat and watched the events, only nodding her consent when it came to the question of food for ammunition.

"You'd be surprised... I'd assume you'd like to see our store room then, it's the first door on the right in that hall." It seemed like Rika was dodging the question a bit. Alexis motioned for the two privates to go get some. "Have someone show them where the type we need is, and they can get it." "Of course, one moment." As she spoke, another woman came up with a small crate full of apples and oranges, maybe a lemon here and there too. They still looked good, but clearly had to be eaten soon. The woman took the plates from nearby and started dishing them out around the table. "We can empty one of your bags into here, then you'll have it for the ammo. If anyone wants, there might be a different type of weapon or something you can trade us for, too." The women was now done setting out the fruit and was transfering the canned goods from one bag to the crate. Alexis turned to other girls. "Anyone want to see what they have?"

Kita nodded. "I wouldn't mind, I could use extra gear, and maybe they got something better then my pipe for up close," she reasoned.

"I don't mind, it's up to you, Alexis..." Suzy grunted shortly. She didn't like or trust Rika, but this collection of Civvies could give them some useful stuff and trade. They needed the help...

"Alright, we'll all go see what they have." Alexis got up and led the way, the woman who had the crate escorting them.

The storeroom was right around the corner, and very well stocked. Many hunting rifles like Kita's, several foreign made assault rifles, the type organized crime liked to use, a spare military issue rifle as well, plus a few different types of handguns. Quite impressive, all things considering. However, the only real trade of interest would be swapping their standard issue rifle for the other type. Everyone knew, either from training or watching action movies, that the other type was more powerful, but less accurate. One of the handguns would be usefull, but these people wanted a trade, and trading a rifle for a handgun was not a fair trade.

Alexis, as group leader, made a choice. "One or two of you swap, these could be useful. But not Kita, keep the hunting rifle." Sara went forward and swapped right away, exchanging ammo too, as Alexis set about filling the bag with the correct ammo. "Someone else take one, then follow me back. Fresh fruit would really hit the spot right now, we can't eat junk food all the time." She left as she said that, Sara following, leaving the other three there. Abi gave Suzy a look as if she didn't want to swap, before heading out the door too, no doubt hungry as well. The last two better hurry if they wanted any fruit.

Kita went to the gun area, looking the weapons over before pulling her pistol from her belt. Gesturing to the other handguns, she asks, "Any way I could trade for one of those?"

In the storeroom, Suzy frowned. Those rifles were... Gung-ho, in her way of thinking. Precision was what mattered to her in a rifle. As such, she didn't even bother taking a closer look, regardless of Alexis wanting her to take it. She wouldn't be caught dead with something like that. She glanced at the handguns longingly, she wanted a spare, but knew she couldn't get it, so followed Alexis out after a couple of seconds.

She wasn't particularly fussed about the fruit, so just took a couple to eat when they got back, but leaving most to the others.

The guard held up a finger, as if to say "one moment", and left as Suzy did, leaving Kita alone for a few moments.

----- Suzy's Point of View -----

Suzy returned to the table. The three girls were diggining in to the fruit. Alexis handed her a piece as she took a bite from an apple. "Pretty good, and it'll go bad soon." Suzy couldn't help but notice the large number of guards around, creating a slight sense of disease.

After a few minutes of eating, Sara rolled over on the table's bench. Abi looked over, but didn't seem quite lucid. She was about to open her mouth to speak when she too toppled over. Alexis wasn't far behind, slumping backwards on the bench. Suzy was left awake, having not had as many as everyone else, and having started later too. But try as she might, she coudn't force her body to do anything. In a moment she fell faceforward onto the table in deep sleep, the guards smirking as they watched.

-----Kita's Point of View-----

The guard quickly returned with Rika. "Oh, you have a pistol to trade eh? Let me see it." The woman took the gun from Kita. "We have many like this, I'm sorry, but I do have another proposition for you. Come with me." Rika wrapped an arm around Kita and led her out into the warehouse, past the table, now strangly empty. "You're not military. I'm glad. I'm sure you know how I feel about them. I've had our guests escorted to a place they are more deserving of, but I'm offering you a chance. Join our stronghold here, you aren't bad like they are." The woman kept a strong grip on her as Kita was given time to decide. It probably wouldn't be best to offend Rika right now.

"Waitwhat?!?" Kita sputtered, noting first the empty table, and then the fact she kept referring to them not by name, but by class. "What's your beef with them? We've only came here to see if something was wrong or if you needed help, and then you trick them like this?!?" Damn the consequences, she wasn't going to let those that help her get caught by a person obviously more deranged then they were. "And more importantly where did you take them!"

Suzy wasn't anywhere near as enthusiastic with the fruit as the others, more concerned at there being too many guards for something like this. Then Sara dropped, causing her to look over in surprise, and nearly laugh, before Abi went too. Blinking, Suzy turned to Alexis for help, but she was already on the table. The ginger girl stared in horror, then down at the half eaten fruit in front of her, throwing it to the table, and looking around at the grinning guards. "B-but..." was all she managed, before her eyes rolled back, and she plummeted forward, a sickening crunch as her nose drove into the hard surface as her world turned to black.

"Now now, I'm sure you experienced it too. You know what those monsters out there do, and these people turned tail and ran when we needed them most. Nearly every single one of the women here has had to deal with those... things..." Rika was leading Kita across the room, to a set of stairs. They were slowly going up. "We're just giving a few extra mouths to feed a taste of their own medicine." The stairs opened onto a large platform. This was a double warehouse it seemed. One section had a wall with metal barred windows. Rika lead her over to it.

There was alot to take in. This part led to a compartment or room of some sort, the lower level was below ground level. Some form of obstical course was set up in it. But who would run it? Then Kita's eyes fell on the competitors. At the far end there were barred gates, behind which seemed to be the sewer, and atleast five squid! Still taking this info in, Kita noticed two other figures in the makeshift arena. Alexis and Sara were passed out on the floor on this side of the room!

Suzy awoke slowly. She was sitting up again, on something hard. She could feel dried blood on her face, perhaps from when she smacked it on the table. The room she was in was dim, and she could hear faintly dripping water somewhere. A groan jolted her slightly more awake. Infront of her, Abigail was tied to a chair, arms behind her back. What was even more jolting was the realization that she herself was tied up in a similer manner.

Elsewhere in the room, the lone guard, a medium height blonde woman took note of what was happening. She opened the sole door and whispered something to someone before shutting it again. Footsteps could be heard echoing down a hall outside.

Kita spun on her heel, her booted foot lashing out for the woman's face. "Are you CRAZY!?! You do realize that half of that squad I was with has had just as much shit happen to them as you? You're not going to get revenge like this, and all you're gonna do is make yourself a worst person!"

Kita was allready ready for a counter attack, her rifle sliding from her back and aiming down at the stuck-up little twat. "Now I suggest you letting them go before you get to see what true psycotic is like!"

Groaning as she awoke, Suzy blinked a few times in the darkness, getting accustomed. After a while, having licked her lips and tasted her blood with a shudder, she noticed Abi, tied up, and herself, just as bad. She looked around, noticing the guard, and her lips parted in a snarl. "What the fuck is this!?" she growled harshly, wriggling her hands about in their bindings unsuccessfully. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?" she shouted again without waiting for a response, and quickly wriggled to her feet, staring down the guard. "You let us go! You give us our friends and let us get the fuck out of here!" she screamed, charging headlong at the guard, all thoughts of personal safety to hell. She was confused, and wanted Alexis. To that end, to hell if she got bludgeoned, she'd just get back up and continue, trying to ram the guard into the wall until something broke. Sure, more were coming, but this bitch at least was going to pay for something Suzy didn't quite get. Fear and anger can be better than reason.

The wind was knocked out of Rika as Kita's attack caught her completely by surprise. She could do nothing but stare at the girl aiming the rifle at her, stuttering a bit. Two guards came running, their own rifles pointing at Kita. "Wha... Wha.. the hell are you doing? Don't you understand...?" A commotion happening under them went almost unnoticed as several loud thunks were heard from a room under them.

Suzy's charge was almost comical, the guard jumped left way ahead of time, and Suzy was unable to change course. She slammed head first into the door, falling down with the chair above her. The guard came back over and placed her boot on top of Suzy's head for good measure, still not speaking, but eyeing Abi suspiciously. She seemed to be waiting for a superior or someone, unsure of how to proceed in this unexpected circumstance.

"I understand that I've quite literally seen not only myself and those girls you're locking up under the effects of those.... things, and quite literally your idiotcy will cause even more trouble then it's worth..." It was then that Kita noticed the guards. "Aw fuckberries...." still, Kita kept her rifle aimed downwards. If needbe it'd turn into a standoff...

Had she been in a sane frame of mind, Suzy would've expected this result. Instead, she was baffled as to why she was now on the floor with a sore cheek and a boot on her head. From her position, all she could do was writhe furiously, spitting insults. "Fucking whore! Let me go! I'm not staying here! Let me go, you filthy slut!" she shouted and screamed, pointlessly writhing against her bindings. She really, really wanted to hurt this girl. Some guy spillings might be a pleasant add on, the ginger corporal was so furious.

Rika was unsure how to resolve the situation, and continued to stare up at Kita. However, one of the guards moved forwards, gun still leveled, snapping her out of it. "Okay, we'll escort you to the exit." The woman seemed to be comming to her senses a bit, but before the standoff could progress further, someone fired. Kita felt a warm sensation in her right arm as it went limp. The guard had shot her. "Don't worry sis, don't let this bitch boss your around!" The guard started to yank Kita, still in shock, down a second set of stairs, but Rika stopped them. "No not that way, take her to Sally and get her patched up, then let her rest on my bed." "But sis..., she was going to kill you!" "It was just a misunderstanding... do as you're told!" The younger sister looked flustered and started taking Kita back the way she came, to someone who could fix her arm up. That's when the pain kicked in...

The guard hefted Suzy up by the chair and set her back down across from Abi, the other solider just gave the readhead a blank stare. Despite being rough, the guard hadn't been overly violent with the furious Suzy.

The two were left to stew for a few moments. Right after the event they heard a gunshot from above, then a flurry of voices. After they faded, heavy steps were heard comming down the stairs. Soon Rika entered, dismissing the guard as she entered. "Hello there. I assume you know why you're here. It's time for a little payback." She walked over close to the girls, giving them a chance to speak before she continued.

"Goddamnit, that's the second time I've been shot accidentally today..." she muttered under her breath, tears streaming down her face from the pain. "Don't think patching me up will fix my attitude about you...." Kita hissed angrily, even as she was dragged along by her.

Suzy's struggling against the bonds tying her to the chair were in vain, and all she could do was snarl more insults at the guard, using a vast amount of synonyms for 'whore' as she went. Set back down across from Abi, her face bright red, she flinched at the gunshot, perking back up again instantly. "What the fuck was that? Where are Alexis, Sara and Kita, you bitch!" she yelled, totally ignoring Abi for now.

When Rika came in, the ginger girl shouted a few more insults after the guards retreating back, before rounding on Rika herself. "No, I don't know why the fuck we're here, so let us fucking go! Where are the others, you cheap fucking harlot! None of us have anything to pay you back!" she yelled even louder than before, struggling to get at Rika now, sweat pouring down her face from exerting so much energy so quickly.
