Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Blinking with a stunned look, he hoisted himself halfway, still sitting down but propping his hands back behind him.

"N-no way... your serious aren't you?"

Leaving it at that, he immediately took her up on her offer and sprung up on his feet and swiftly grabbed what the closest thing to his clothes were, being the rags that they morphed his jeans and shirt into. He didn't even bother putting them on as he rushed out of the room, giving a mocking laugh as he finally found himself out of the building.
"No indian take backs!"

Again, he finds himself trudging about in the sand dunes of the desert. Again, the feeling of hard tiny rocks being underneath his feet. Again, the blazing heat of the sun bearing down on his body. In a way, he was grateful his clothes weren't as heavy since he wasn't wearing jeans. Making a couple adjustments, he took the liberty of taking his skimpy stripper outfit and tore it and made it into a simple loin cloth. The heat was growing almost unbearable still, and murmured lightly under his breath.
"Damn slut world, they never heard of sunscreen."
He had even tried to frisk a flask of water from the pharoah, but she didn't allow it. In a way, Garran felt she was cheating by preventing from having necessary resources.
"Hopefully if I just keep walking, I'll find my way out of this damn sand coffin. Maybe go to some jungle or a village. One can hope."
If things got too bad, he'd just have to rely on his survival skills, hopefully come across a plant to eat the roots, or a cactus to get water out of. With all the sand around him, he began humming a song that was a classic. Picking up a grain of sand, he sang the last line of the chorus.
"Off to never never land!"

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Trudging through the desert, Garran was soon reminded why he entered the pyramid to begin with. The hot sun baking him alive, the dry, hot air scorching his skin, making him feel dry and miserable. After only an hour, Garran's body began to feel pained. His heart throbbed, hurting in his chest as it tried to keep him from drying up. There was nothing for him to drink, Hafsah made sure of that. The only thing she allowed him to have before he left was the clothes he took from the room, as from the moment she said that, she no longer treated him like a slave, thus keeping an eye on him should he try to steal anything, as any desert rat would try to do.

After passing through a few miles of desert sand, with no end in sight, nothing but sand hills as far as the eye can see, Garran, upon reaching a high dune, could see the desert town where Hafsah resided behind him, a small dot in the distance from where he stood. The sight was tempting, since no doubt Hafsah would let him rest in shade, and give him food and water, but there would be no more chances to be free if he did. On the other hand... Death was a very likely thing to find, out there in the empty desert...

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

As he stared out into the distant desert, the endless sea of sand seemingly going on and on forever, he gave a heavy sigh. Trudging through the sand, even dragging his feet a bit so he didn't use up too much energy, he glanced about, hoping to find a plant of some kind that he could use for nourishment.

Time continued, and as he was daydreaming of the heat of the sun to be over, his mind reminded him that desert nights weren't exactly cool. They were freezing. The desert was harsh all the time. He really began to question his decision now.
Maybe I shouldn't have left. Maybe I should turn back while I chance. Mayb-

"No!" He forcefully shouted to himself.
"That's what the bitch wants! Make you beg, cry for her forgiveness like a fucking dog! She's the one who is half bitch, even literally! Not you! Not going... You can't let her win..."
It was hard to convince himself with such a fatigued body and mind. Despite his willpower, his body wouldn't keep up. Without realizing it, he turned to look over his shoulder, seeing if there was still any hope of returning.
"She's too cruel. Bitch has no heart." He tried to spit in disgust, but only managed a dry cough. If he didn't think of something, his mind would give up. Perhaps... well it seemed silly at the time, but he had to try something.

Softly he sung to himself. "I'm indestructible, Determination that is incorruptible. From the other side, a terror to behold. Annihilation will be unavoidable....." His voice fading as he continued on.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Indestructible, he was not. Every joint of his body trembled as if ready to fall apart, just from the exhaustion the hot sun was pressuring him with. It was through his very much corruptible determination that kept him from falling forward in defeat. His sight from the town below, as if her eyes were still watching him, was hardly a terror to behold. Even though he was alone, he could faintly tell in the back of his mind that she was enjoying watching him struggle.

As for the final part of his lyrics, another hour passed, and Garran's progress was slowed to a crawl. He had crossed more of the endless sea of sand, until there were no signs of the town, or pyramid in sight. There was no moisture left in his mouth, and breathing the hot air actually began to become a painful experience. His heart beat, the pain in his lungs, and his trembling body all communicated together to inform Garran of one thing,

Unless a miracle lie over the horizon, he was going to die in the endless desert sands if he continued in that direction.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Knees collapsing underneath him, he finally fell to the deserts cruelty. It was not going to let him get through this. The only thing Garran could do to at least remain on his knees was to put his hands on the floor in front of him. Muscles were cramping, every nerve impulse his brain received was pain or aching. He almost gagged and choked on the very air itself, his body clearly failing. Any survival skills he may of had were worthless, it was as if the desert was made specifically not to let a living soul escape it's earthly grasp. If only that woman's pyramid was somewhere near the edge.

It is... designed this way. She new it from the start. It wasn't an option from the very start. She wasn't assuming he would die. She knew, of course she knew! Why else?! Why couldn't you figure it out sooner? Your dead! You'll never be able to get back to even where you started, you're too weak and crippled. So why did you even try in the first place? Your pride.
His dull mind grasped that last string
You can try to stick to your morals, your ways of life, your standards as much as you like. But you can only do it for so long.
He coughed out dryly, weezing to himself.
"But that.. that woman. She kept calling me weak, kept mocking me any time I did give in. And then when I resisted, she still mocked, laughing at my determination... what the hell does she want?"
The answer was obvious. To kill his ego, any sense of self-worth or distinguishing characteristics that separated him from others. Garran always hated losing, at anything. But as long as he honestly did his best but still lost, he'd always be willing to admit defeat. This was one of those times... His mind blurred and his vision grew hazy as he felt unconsciousness creeping up on him. Gritting his teeth, he managed to wheeze out something to the air about him.
"It's over...You win..."
Closing his eyes, he loses all strength and collapses in the sand....

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Eyes closed, Garran would feel unconsciousness take him, even despite his miserable condition. Wrapped in exhaustion, his vision remained black, and the pain in his body continued to wreck any dreams he might've had. But while in his exhausted fog, he'd suddenly awake at the intense feeling of water rushing into his mouth, burning his dry throat. From the coughing that would ensue no matter Garran's tolerance for such irritation, he'd feel a pair of hands grip his head, and lay him back down onto a pair of soft thighs.

"What a stupid human you are," came the feline voice of Roa. "Let your suffering be a lesson to you! You had better apologize to the Pharaoh so you don't die out there for real! Next time, I won't follow you!" she warned him, before lowering the cup of water down to his lips again, which his body craved, and his throat loathed from the pain. Although the craving for water was stronger than the fear of pain. "Drink! This water is the Pharaoh's blessing! You are only alive now from her favor!"

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

He waited for death to come and end his suffering, but death never came. Suddenly, he could feel the rush of liquid rushing down his throat. As some of the water was inhaled, his coughing and hacking was soon replaced by the desperate thirst that his body desired. A voice rung in his ears, similar to that of a soft ringing as if he developed tinnitus until it became clear that it was actually somebody else's voice. He recognized it pretty quickly. It was that cat girl, the one he defeated in her riddles. But it didn't matter who was here, he grabbed at the cup that was being offered to him, guzzling down the liquids and even licking the surface for the slightest bit of moisture.

Opening his eyes, he was looking straight up at Roa. Garran might not of liked the way the Pharaoh and this girl tortured him, but he was glad to see another human.. humanoid face. Garran's voice returned from his recent drink, and finally spoke.

"Thank you... For helping me."
The water only helped him recover slightly, his body was still weak in it's current condition, but he could probably muster up some strength after a couple of minutes. For now, he rested his head just a little bit longer.

Roa frowned with a flush as Garran thanked her. "What's with you all of a sudden?" she asked in surprise of his humble behavior. Turning her head away, she seemed to mostly want to not look at him anymore. "You're welcome... But anyway," she regarded him once more to change the subject. "You still have an appearance to make before Hafsah if you want forgiveness!" she reminded him.

He sighed softly, knowing she was right about that. It was time to confront Hafsah. Just the idea of going back to that woman and seeing her smug face, taunting him of his stupidity angered him slightly. Sitting up from Roa's lap, he nodded and asked softly.

"You're right, take me to her please. I'm probably in for a lot of verbal abuse, but I have to do it." He paused, thinking momentarily.

"What do you believe would be the best way to ask for her forgiveness?"

Roa grinned, before raising a 'finger,' if you could call it that, at Garran. "Lay on your back, and say, 'I am your's, my queen!' with your clothes a little loose~" she suggested to him with clear confidence on her face.

He blushed a bit, as he was thinking something more formal like bowing or being upon his knees groveling. Well as formal as submitting could get.

Giving a deep breath, he nodded to the cat woman and readied himself for the inevitable encounter.

"All right. Take me to her. I... I'm ready."

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

"She's out of her room for a while. Just be waiting for her like an obedient husband, and do exactly what I told you to do," Roa instructed Garran, before standing up, lifting him up as well, and walking out of the cube shaped house they were in, heading straight across the sand stone street to the house on the other side, where Garran would be familiar with, even the bed where she had made him cum.

Leaving him there, Roa grinned mischievously, and announced, "Good luck!" before vanishing out of Anubis' personally prepared quarters. And not long after that, the ever familiar, ever menacing presence of Anubis pushed aside the cloth hanging in the doorway.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

He was again in a familiar room, one that had... left an impression upon him. Despite his unease at meeting with the possibly wrathful Pharaoh, he was glad to finally be safe from the glaring heat of the sun, and the dry torture of the sand upon his feet. His eyes watched the cat woman leave the room, admiring her curves. The way she talked to him actually was a big turn on, teasing him like a cat rather than an out right order. She had told him to have his clothes loosened for the Pharaoh, but he honestly was willing to do that from the start, it was hot and he needed any cool air upon his skin as possible.

Closing his eyes, he reflected on the time that he had been having in the desert. It was amazing what the mind could recall in such a short moment.

It didn't matter what song he sung. He'd gone through his entire albums of songs that were even remotely uplifting or encouraging. His mind now was on an endless loop of the song "Ring of Fire", and only the chorus in particular. He continued to talk to himself, the only thing he could really do to keep himself from going insane from heat stroke
"It's not fair... that bitch... she's half dog right? So that makes her a bitch regardless. So she's a bitchy bitch. She's the biggest bitch in the whole wide world. Only a bitch would make a home in a sandbox."
Stopping momentarily, he noticed something out of the ordinary. Something, some figure possibly in the distance.
"A person?" He breathed with a heavy weez.
"Help! Holdup... help!" Doing his best to scream, which only came out as a loud whisper. Trudging closer and closer, his hope for possible rescue rising in his chest with each step. It was certainly humanoid. Was this a mirage? No, cause as he drew closer and closer, he was able to tell features. Wheezing and panting, he finally reached the figure.
"Thank.. please help me... Pl-" His face drained to a pale white when he finally got the strength to look up directly into the figures eyes. He had not noticed until now, but the humanoid wasn't moving at all. In fact, it reminded him of the Pharaoh. But what would she be doing out here? He reached his hand out with a heavy shake, and grabbed onto the figures shoulder. In his grasp he felt.... stone. Garran gave a small chuckle that bordered insanity as he realized what he had found. What looked down upon him was a statue of the Pharaoh herself, with the familiar tempting grin that he had come to know. Somehow, he found the breath to genuinely laugh as he pushed his body onward, glancing back at the figure and letting out another lunatic cackle.

A sudden presence woke him up from his reminiscing, as if the woman carried an aura with her it filled him with fear and dread. Garran slowly turned his head, and for only a momentary hallucination did he see the statue that was encountered in the desert, to have it flash to reality before his eyes, turning into the real thing. He was afraid to say words, comment, or joke. Neither a witty retort or smart remark emerged from his lips. Garran felt himself unconsciously shrinking back from her, like a lion had cornered it's small prey. All he could do was wait for the beast to sink its teeth into him...

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Standing in place in the middle of the door, Garran felt her gaze stare at him, despite the lighting making so her eyes couldn't be seen, only appearing empty, black eye sockets.

"Do you enjoy this dwelling so much that you return to it?" the Pharaoh inquired. "I have in fact, come back after having spoken with the Chieftain of this clan. She has agreed to lead her own, and other tribes to the east, over the Border Mountain. As the leader of these forces, that means I won't be staying here, in these wastelands, any longer."

Stepping into the sandstone house, the Pharaoh kneeled over a bucket that was in the corner, and reached her paw inside to take out a rag, and wipe it over her body to cool her flesh, and moisten her body, giving her an erotic, sparkling appeal. Glancing back at him, this time her red eyes were highlighted in the sun's rays as she uttered her next, cruel words.

"As a free man, you're welcome to stay behind, and die in this desert."

"As a free man, you're welcome to stay behind, and die in this desert."

She meant it. There was no emotion within her voice, just the pure blunt truth. If he stayed here, he would die. He hadn't been really given much of a choice, despite her calling him a "free man". If anything it was the total opposite, and she was only taunting him.

His body was finally hydrated, but her eyes seemed to sap any feeling of comfort away, swallowing deeply as his throat briefly felt the dryness it had to endure out in the sands.

NO! Not back out there! I can't! I wouldn't live! I...

"I wish to follow you Pharaoh, at whatever conditions you set before me, I'll obey." He meant it too. There was no waiting it out, no trickery he could plan ahead of time, anything he tried to do or any loophole he sought after, she was more than 3 steps ahead of him every time. As he spoke those words with true intentions, he could feel a little bit of himself breaking inside. And he was sure that it wouldn't be the first time it would happen either.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

"Only at the last minute, you decide to break to me..." the anubis sighed as if she were annoyed. Turning to Garran, she directed her staff at him, pointing it so that it was directly in his face. "If that is what you've truly decided, then make a pledge now." she commanded, before the tip of her staff brandished a golden light in the shape of a serpent which leaped at, and coiled around Garran's neck. It was quickly tight, but not to the point of strangling. It still remained in it's energetic form, brimming brightly with gold light, before she continued. "Close your eyes, and accept in your heart and soul to be my servant for eternity. Demolish any doubt or hesitance, and accept me as the master of your heart!"

With that, her spell waited. Aiming right for Garran's core, his acceptance or refusal of the Pharaoh as his master would decide if the collar around his neck would become completed or not.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

As the snake leaped towards him, he almost reflexively went to grasp at it to prevent it coiling about his neck. His hands never did reach it though, instead they shakily retreated back to his sides. He could feel the 'creature' tense and tighten, and it didn't take long for him to realize this was some sort of collar. It was then that her words cut through his thoughts, and the order given to him was responded to with only little hesitation. The last thoughts before he knew he was enslaved.

You never had a choice from the very start.

"I pledge myself to you as your humble servant, Master!" His voice shouted out with miserable defeat. Eyes closed tightly, he could feel himself letting out a tear or two of mixed emotions. His personal pride shattered, anger and frustration in himself and the situation, cursing his own weakness and inability to change what was about to happen. But what tore at his mind the most was the fact he finally accepted it, even wanting it, without any spells drugging his mind or body.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

The pharaoh lifted her staff as Garran's collar set itself in place. "Good," she concluded simply before touching her paw to his collar, and summoning a glowing golden leash of magic, and tugging on it encouragingly. "The moment has long past for pleasantries. It's time to set out, pet." she instructed Garran, pulling him along exactly like his new title implied as she went to walk outside with him in tow, granted he was fine with being pulled by a leash.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

The light dying down from the 'thing' wrapped about his throat, he could feel that it had truly became a collar. Embarrassment and shame filled his mind as he felt a sudden tug pulling at him. The pharaoh had apparently leashed him as well.

As she called to him by naming him "pet", he could feel a twitch of frustration in his eye, but remained silent. All he could do now was follow her and wait for her next orders.

Could be worse. She could be making me walk on all fours like a dog or something. Wonder if this thing is like a shock collar? It's obviously magic, but what KIND of magic is what's making me paranoid here. Maybe if I continue to follow orders, it will remain a normal collar.

Re: Grain of Sand (Garran)

Anubis walked out of the house, bringing Garran along with him as she made her way through the town. Near the center, there was a gathering of all the scorpions Garran had seen and more. With strict instructions to stay behind, Anubis went ahead to speak with the scorpions. Their discussion lasted for well over half an hour, and Garran was forced to find shade next to one of the buildings. After a certain time passed following their quiet conversation, Anubis apparently finding Garran unworthy of being apart of the conversation, Anubis returned to find Garran in the shade.

"We'll be departing now," she said as she grabbed his leash, and tugged upwards, "Come," she commanded him like a trained animal.
