ところで、これら英語訳されたフラッシュですが、お許しいただけるならば、現在販売しているものに差し替える形で、海外向けに販売したいと思うのですがいかがでしょうか。
有料で販売しているものなので、あなた様の好意をお金儲けに使うようで、マナーに反するのではないかとも思っているのですが…。

The problem exists now that what if he chooses to update something?
He'd have to rely on you to recreate the translated SWF in all probability.
You should gather the translation files and bundle them along too.
Good job BTW, not too sure why you've gone out of your way to give something back but it's a nice gesture at least.

EDIT:

By translation files I mean just the Jap/Eng text.
He's no doubt got the FLAs for everything so it wouldn't make sense to work with the SWF if he's updating something.

Well that seems to have worked out pretty well so far.

Edit: What the bloody fuck is this? I seem to be having difficulty in quoting quotations that are IN quoted posts, for some mysterious reason, so I had to edit them in myself. Ah well.

I thought that since he now considers translations, he might hire some other people to do this work, so we may need to contact the other translators to sent their works, and get some credit.

I really don't think anything is ruined at all.

JSK hasn't shown any desire to stop fan-translations of his games, and even if he HAD that desire, I don't think he could enforce it, since we're presumably beyond the reach of Japanese court orders.

If JSK's games are translated into English, whether the translation is sanctioned by JSK or not, that just means that English speakers can understand the text in the JSK games more easily.

The games themselves can still be bought OR pirated just as easily as before.

Well, that's how I figure it'll be, anyway.
