ok, i cant seem to get the target location thing working when i try Translation Aggregator

im trying

C:\Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c agth.exe /C "C:\Users\name\Downloads\DHD\DragonHunterD\Game.exe"
C:\Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c agth.exe "C:\Users\name\Downloads\DHD\DragonHunterD\Game.exe"
C:\Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c "C:\Users\name\Downloads\DHD\DragonHunterD\Game.exe"

none of them work.

the first bit is the bit i copied from the file location of the translator, the second bit is for the game itself

any tips?

Exactly what part of C:\AGTH\agth.exe /C "C:\DragonHunterD\Game.exe" makes you think that C:\Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c agth.exe /C "C:\Users\name\Downloads\DHD\DragonHunterD\Game.exe" would work?

Take out Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c from C:\Translation Aggregator 0.4.4c agth.exe /C "C:\Users\name\Downloads\DHD\DragonHunterD\Game.exe", this is how agth works, you have to open translation aggregator manually, agth will automatically send the hooked text to the clipboard and from there TA will take it and translate it, you can't stick everything in a single shortcut.

was the explanation about hooked text for AFTER i get the shortcut target right?, or do i need to open TA now? because it doesnt seem to add anything to my clipboard.

to iamnuff: Translator aggregator and AGTH are two different programs
AGTH pulls japanese text from japanese games in real time (and can copy it to clipboard if you choose so in the options)
translator aggregator provides translations from various websites in real time (needs active I-net connection) Also, this program translates text from the clipboard

so, to get the text in games translated you need to set up both programs and the translated text will appear in the aggregator and not in the game

This is wrong: C:\agth.exe "C:\DragonHunterD\Game.exe"

This is right: C:\agth.exe /C "C:\DragonHunterD\Game.exe"

The /C command is the one that sends the hooked text to the clipboard, without it you have to do things maunally.

@JD: Thanks for the mini-primer on AGTH and AT. Digging through the pages at Hongfire sometimes seems like more work than it is worth.

While I am still working through some of the descriptions, I wondered if anyone knows what the "Flower" accessory you get from the old man (mayor?) in the bottom left house does. Also, there is a mention of a combo input of

[up]

+ X, but not which weapon class it is for.

Any information for the two above would be appreciated.​

its official.... i hate this game. I was attracted because its like monster hunter... and im nice at monster hunter. but... this is bullshit. the quality of the game is nice. i actually like it... but the damn thing isn't in english. dag! played it for an hour straight and i just finish the gathering mission and now i can't kill the blue raptor thingy. i hate playing blindly, especially when it something im fimilar to. if it was only in english......

I suggest if you are really bothered by it to try something like translation aggregator. Its available at Hongfire.com or you can do a google search. You can also use agth by itself, but setting it up is more complicated and you still need some kind of translating software like ATLAS or website. Getting either one will help for future games though.

Another suggestion, the only thing you have to do for the gathering mission is collect a few mushrooms. These mushrooms can be sold for quite a bit of gold, and you can repeat the gathering quest. I suggest taking it several times until you earn enough gold to buy weapons and maybe some leather armor you can make from those deer you probably killed dozens of.

There is an issue with the translator... Im a n00b... i suck at complex computer programing. i will only fuck it up. and i used one of the saved files from Kirshz (which i thank you a whole lot) and when i saw one of the rape scene... it wasn't very promising to me... so i don't clearly see myself becoming motivated to "understand" or translate this game. i just don't like it anymore. But it is a good game though, just not my taste.

That's good, because there is no "complex computer programming" involved...

Looks like the Dev updated Dragon Hunter D to 1.1, according to his blog. He also has two other games on DLsite - Plant Girl and Alchemy Quest.

Now, being an illiterate gaijin, I have no idea how I would even successfully sign up for a DLsite account. And a search of Hongfire for Plant Girl/Dragon Hunter/Alchemy Quest didn't pan out, so... has anyone seen these other games?

Okay, having 'beaten' the game and unlocked the house with the H-scene books, I have a question: what creature do I lose to to unlock Scene #12? The journal is at 41/41, although there is a Weapon material (Bear Paw?) that no enemy appears to drop.

Also, has anyone else run into the problem of being 'locked-in' when you go on the Dragon Hunt event after hitting HR 35? After I kill all 7 dragons, the Guild Girl's dialogue comes up, but I can't leave the area.

Looks like the links are being shot over and over again. I'll reupp it this time, but if it gets shot again, the game will probably have to be sent by pm or something.I left the saves from my above post in there if you just want to skip to the H.

I accidentally left my saves in there, so here's a descript of each of them.
File 1 Is my Incomplete File(Still only HR21, haven't played this game in a while)
File 2 is Slime GOR(Blacksmith girl gets raped),just move right to next screen and lose.
File 3 is the same, except Diana/the main char gets raped. Just lose to the slime nearby.
File 4 is in the Prostitution Event house, just talk to the cat npc, includes the two lesbian events(2nd option at npc)
File 5 is the same thing, just without the lesbian events.
File 6 is Plant GOR(Quest giver gets raped), just move left to the next screen and lose.
File 7 is also the same, except Diana gets raped, again just lose to it.
