I'm using "YoYoGames GameMaker" program, I'm trying to do everything via scripting and use very little of the drag and drop functions that come with the program.

ok good.

with the drag and drop properties in gamemaker makes it nearly impossible to create normal features and physics in game.

the art work I see looks nice guessing its a run around and beat things to death or the those things will rape you game. if so I'll be cheering you guys on doubt I could do anything else to help though.

Hmm things that need to be in the game...

Well...

Basic things:

Movement
Ducking
Jumping
Enemy movement and attack patterns
Attacking
Health/Determination bar
Determination regen items
Breakable objects to drop items.

More Advanced Things:

Bosses and Minibosses
Storyline
Attack Combos
Enemy and boss grapple system (Ie the rape and porn part of the game)

Things that I'd like to be in the game but aren't entirely necessary:

Stat system
Stat boosting items
Map and level selection system
Sidequests
Shop system
Some form of in game event triggers for storyline instead of just having storyline being between levels.
If possible more complex enemy AI (Doubtful)

I think that's it...

I'm slightly confused as to what the determination bar is,or is it the health bar.
Could you be more specific as to what type of style(look) it is or what it is?
The one I have right now is a classic ticks for life hp bar.

Also Regen items? Is it like the orb for health i made(the red floating orb,not the brown coin for monezz)?

edit: Made a animated sprite for the first enemy,Thoughts?

The determination bar is the health bar yes.

Tick bar sounds fine and HP Regen item would be like the orb of health.

Basically determination bar is just a different name for a basic health bar. Seeing as the majority of enemies don't actually hurt her the idea was instead of losing health she's losing her determination to continue on.

OK I understand now.

I have plenty to worry about right now but while we are on the subject of Health(video game health), if i have a tick life bar what would her default hp be(10or>9000)can't be too high, also makes things more challenging?

Do you receive more ticks as you level up, get hp upgrades in levels/shops?

Will there be status effects that change or effects her hp.

Also what happens when her hp reach's 0 ( Standard Gameover then continue prompt or something else like a kitten playing with a yarn ball ect.)?

I was thinking 100 health base.

I'm trying to decide between health increase by 5 per level or just damage decreased per level (Ie def stat)

Possibly both... You have a preference?

There will be status effects akin to a poison effect however what it does is actually just double the damage received from enemies while under the poison effect.

I'm thinking some of the enemies like bosses and stuff might possibly have a game over cg if not though basically just game over return to last checkpoint etc...

Probably just a game over screen with choice to leave or return to last save/checkpoint.

instead of calling it poision, how about calling it that drug which makes people more horny

Edit: aphrodisiac, not sure if it's spelled right, but you would probably understand what I mean.

Ooh yeah that's essentially what it is...

Why didn't I think of that.

One of the sidequests even involves purposely getting the status effect a few times for a witch who wants to use it to make aphrodisiacs.

i never had much luck with game maker...mostly cause i can't do sprites, which is a shame, because we havent got a stealth based gor platformer yet...i wanted to do a cat burglar game akin to megaman (you get gadgets in some levels that help you advance in other levels and you need all of them for the last level.

also had multiple endings based on a few choices in the game, namely releasing a demon from captivity in a lab

Yea I just hope I'll actually be able to actually pull off it off... Game making is extremely time consuming and tedious, but it's something I've always wanted to do even though I've got very little experience in it.

Progress is a little slow right now but I think I'll have the first level with 2 enemy's done and the basics programed either this month or the next ....or the next anyways we'll see how it turns out.

Added a small pic snippit of the testing engine because I got the tentacle to collide and rape the main character with a mask, and now I'm looking into how to make the animation have sequence without making a 300 frame loop that makes gigantic size difference in the game(penetration, sex loop, climax) and adding audio effects to it as well.

Is there an option for a unique variable? increase the variable for each loop until a certain nuber then do something else? (i havent used game maker in a while but i'm pretty good at using event based things)

Yea you can make global variables that effect all objects in game or personal variables that belong to a specific object or parent object. I've got most of it to work now but I'm still looking into alternatives. But yea i got a slowly reducing variable that when it reach's 0 it switches objects to the next animation.I just don't know If there is to be a struggle system that's why I'm going to wait a bit before I continue this part of the game anyways I still got way too much of other things to do.

Actually having a working demo of this game will be awesome.
OK that makes things more simple and make this a little easier.

I got a simple tile set for level 1 finished and in convenient squares, that makes level making very easy so that will help save some time when I get close to the end and plugging everything in. When I have the time I'll make a room to show how it will look.
