When it swung open, she could tell that she had entered some sort of living quarters. Probably the demon's. It was quite messy, odds and ends littering the floor and various bits of furniture. Perhaps there was something useful amidst the clutter. Then again, perhaps not.

A little bit of a frown, as she was expecting something else. Still, she thought, might as well take a quick look around at the very least.

Mary was unable to find anything of use in the clutter, just strange trinkets. Aly, however, found a very large, decorated key under a pile of dishes that must have come from some faraway place. What do you think this goes to? It's huge!

"I don't know, but I think we should keep it for now, come on, let's head back and go the other way."

Mary pondered if this key might be the key to that chest she found earlier, even if it wasn't, it was worth keeping around she thought.

"If only there had been some rope..."

Alright. The treasure shouldn't be too awful far away. The two walked back to the room they had come from, and started on the path southward. In the distance they could see what looked like another room in the cave, but between them and the room was a large coil of rope... As they approached it, it seemed to jump to life and coil into two separate humanoid shapes. Aly readied her sword and prepared to charge the smaller one.

Lewd thoughts aside, Mary had no intention of losing to the creatures without a fight, grabbing her staff and focusing her fire on the one Aly was ready to charge.

Mary and Aly both missed the smaller rope demon; the thing was surprisingly agile for some coils of rope.

The demons lashed out at the two, entangling them slightly in the coils of rope.

Mary was certainly going to enjoy it if she lost, but she didn't want to lose that easily as she aimed a blast towards the smaller one.

Mary and Aly both failed to hit the shifting coils of rope, the things ducking their attacks easily.

The rope demons had no such problems, further entangling the two of them, whipping Mary across her breasts with a length of rope.

Mary finally managed to hit something, though, freeing Aly from the smaller rope demon that had her trapped. With her freedom of movement, the fairy managed to slash the thing, sending it reeling.

Mary managed to dodge the rope demon, but Aly didn't quite have the same luck. Waaaah, Mary, help me! Aly cried out, distressed at her circumstances.

Mary's attack missed the rope demon, but seemed to distract it enough that Aly was able to free herself and defeat it, the ropes falling harmlessly to the cave floor.

Mary managed to dodge the attacks of the bigger rope demon that was entangling her, though it maintained its hold on her.

Mary missed her attack badly, but again it seemed to distract the rope demon, and Aly managed to get the first good hit in on it, freeing Mary.

Mary also managed to just barely jump out of the way when the demon attacked her.

Mary frowns as her attacks miss, but is glad that Aly is able to damage it as she continues to blast.

Mary's blast managed to hit the rope demon, and it staggered backwards a bit, which ironically caused Aly to miss as she attacked it.

"Come on! We've almost won, we can do this!" Mary shouted, trying to blast the demon again, she just had to win. She was tired of losing. So she poured everything into this attack.

Mary managed to blast the rope demon with her attack, but the thing seemingly wasn't bothered by the blow this time, and was able to easily avoid Aly's swipe at him.

Mary just barely manages to twist out of the way of the rope demon's attack; she can feel the wind from the whip as it passes just by her.
