Serena nods, "It should; once its been woven, it shouldn't return to its previous form, not that my waters disappear when they leave the area anyway. Although, their power does weaken somewhat... I'm not sure what effect that might result in with the cloth, if any..." she considers things for a moment, and nods her head in agreement with her own statements. If anything, it loosing the tingly feel against the angel's skin might be beneficial, although she was perhaps just hypersensitive to it at present.

Serena then went on to teach Ashior the ritual to perform in order to return here. It didn't take long for her to get a grasp of it; the actual ritual was fairly simple, just time consuming.

Having grasped the ritual, regained her garments, been restored to full strength, and made a new friend, Ashior felt that perhaps she might be prepared to venture out once more. Bowing to Serena, she said; "Thank you, Serena. You have offered me a great deal of aid this day. I shall see you again soon, I am sure. But now, I must continue my journey. May you be at peace, and farewell until I return!" Then, after she'd allowed Serena to say her own goodbye, Ashior took up her mace and shield, and continued down the path the werewolves had taken not so long ago. It seemed like much longer than it had been, but the angel knew it hadn't been much longer than an hour since she'd been walking, nude and battered, down this same path. Now, if only that accursed shadow would leave her be this time....

Serena smiled and waved farewell to the angel, "You'll always be welcome at my fountain," she calls out as Ashior departed.

It might not have been that long, but the woods before Ashior had changed noticeably; or at least, the apparent time had. Despite the sun previously glowing over the fountain, at some point night had fallen and the full moon hovered ominously over the tree tops. And as if summoned by her very thoughts...

In the middle of the road ahead, there stood a figure. Not cloaked in shadow as he had been previously, the man stood with his feet together, arms tucked behind his back. Long, dark hair fell from his face, just as it fell behind his head and his body was wrapped in a Chinese style monk robe; also black and fairly undecorated. He stood there, passively watching the angel from around 30 paces away.

Ashior stopped in her tracks as she spotted the figure ahead of her, waiting a moment before she calmly bowed slightly to him, and quietly said; "Good evening." She left it at that, for the moment. The angel never took her eyes off of him, which the man likely had no trouble noticing given that she had left her hood behind, while she listened to the sounds around her for signs of an attack. In the dark, even with the full moon to provide light and her eyes which could penetrate any normal darkness, Ashior understood that she was in his element now.

"Looks that way, doesn't it?" he says with an amused smile. "I'm glad you managed to uncover the secrets of the fountain," he adds, showing some teeth. He continues to stand in the middle of the road, unmoving, as a slight breeze begins to pick up, blowing through the leaves of the trees either side.

Ashior remains silent and motionless after his statement, waiting several moments in silence, as though she expected him to continue, before saying; "May I pass by you?"

The figure gives a slight smile. "If that is your wish, than by all means..." he responds, although he makes no effort to move. "I merely thought that while you were accepting outside assistance, you might like to learn a few things..."

Ashior tilted her head slightly to the right, and kept her voice even as she said; "Knowledge is power. If you are willing to share, then I will not begrudge unless you ask some price for it. Then, my reaction might depend on what was asked." Then, she waited for him to respond, staring at him unblinkingly.

"Oh, no price. Even with your wounds restored, I am concerned for your safety. I can teach you a new spell, if you like..." he offers calmly, moving one hand out from behind his back to extend an open palm towards her.

Ashior looks at him, her expression impassive, before she replied; "Very well. Might I ask what this spell does, before I agree? I do not wish to be any more discourteous than I already have been to you, but your countenance does not invite me to trust you, sir. And your voyeurism makes me..... Uncomfortable."

The figure smiles, "But of course, the spell is called Idrinel's Punishment. It is designed to incapacitate a single target, leaving them unable to move or attack so that judgement can be delivered. It is costly, but effective..." he explains slowly. "Is there anything else?"

Before she responded, Ashior combed through her memory for any mention of an 'Idrinel,' but coming up with a blank. Shrugging, she said; "Very well. Teach me this spell."

A small ball of shadow appears above the figure's open palm, maybe the size of berry, hovering in the air. "Place this into your mouth, and the knowledge of the spell will be imparted unto you," he explains as the dark berry hovers over towards the angel. "We find it a more efficient means of transferring knowledge..."

Ashior takes the strange berry, looking down at it for a moment, before glancing back up at the man as she lifted it to her mouth. She hesitated another moment, and then plopped it into her mouth.

The small ball certainly seemed to act like a small berry, its flavour sweet and juicy as it melted almost instantaneously in the angel's mouth. She was almost waiting for an adverse effect to kick in, but nothing happened. The only change seemed to be that she was certain now, she knew how to call upon the spell the figure had mentioned.

He smiled once more, "It is good to see you're more accepting of aid than some of your sisters. That is all I have to offer at this time, I wish you the best of luck," he says with a slightly more sinister tone than his previous statement and shadow began to collect around him, before in a now familiar flash of darkness, he vanished.

"I'll be watching..."

The road ahead was clear now, a fairly straight path between the trees of this forest; but how long it'd be until that changed she couldn't begin to guess.

Having felt no ill effects from the berry, Ashior simply shrugged at the shadowy figures implications. either she'd find out the truth behind his words, or she wouldn't, and there was nothing she could do about it at the moment anyway. Instead, the angel continued down the path before her.

For a while, the angel walked down the road to near silence; the occasional breeze through the tree leaves the only companion she had. Normally, a woods like this with on animal noises at all would be wrong, but in the dreamscape such things were less normal; it didn't automatically indicate problems.

Then, Ashior heard a noise of something moving through the undergrowth that didn't quite match the breeze. It was close, as if the creature moving through there were trying to disguise the movement as just being more wind but she had managed to pick up on the difference.

Ashior continued forward as though she hadn't heard the noise, trying to pinpoint its direction with her hearing while keeping her eyes dead set on the road ahead. Firstly, she wanted to keep her eyes peeled for another trap, and secondly, if she turned toward it, she would tip off that she'd detected it. Her leg muscles tensed, however, and as soon as she heard it speed up, she'd spin toward it, her shield already up and raised before her. Her mace was quick to come to her hand, as she'd found a place for it to hang on her new clothing.

As she continued on, trying to track the noise, she was aware that it was vaguely behind her and to the left. She kept her ears open, and as another gust of wind blew through, heard another couple of noises, there was more than just the one creature out there. To make matters worse, the other noises she heard were behind to the right, and one up ahead slightly. She was surrounded.

Finding that she was surrounded changed Ashiors tactic. Her shield came up immediately, and she very slowly drew her mace. Then, she spoke, her voice loud and unwavering; "Come on and lets have at it then."
