I still don't know what the appeal of a bunch of ponies running around with friendship and stuff is.

But it's a pretty good show, apparently so good that the tabletop group I'm with decided to play a game set in the My Little Pony universe, and two sessions in it is already looking like it may be one of the better games the group has had so far.

Of course, required information to play that game was to watch season one, and I do not regret it at all.

Uh..I feel like I'm forgetting to post something. Oh well, I'll just post again if I remember.

I found it rather amusing how the heroines that were heralded for defeating a moon princess throwing a magical hissyfit were picked apart by something that's actually evil...

I found it rather amusing how the heroines that were heralded for defeating a moon princess throwing a magical hissyfit were picked apart by something that's actually evil...

Here's the thing, though, he's not actually 'evil', per se.
He's 'chaos'.
So instead of trying to hurt or kill them like Nightmare Moon,
He simply made their personalities do a 180.
Pretty easy to win when you make the heroes fight amongst themselves.

Though, as Discord found out the hard way, it's best to have a back-up plan,
because eventually they figure out WTF just happened and join back together.
