Mei-Lien watched the wasps confer, and as she did so she felt her muscles tighten up considerably. As the wasps carried her and Hannah away towards the door, she could see the eggs begin to hatch, and giant wasp larvae crawling out into the floor. Finally they reached the outside, and they were deposited on the floor as the door swung shut behind the wasps. It took a few more minutes for the paralysis to wear off fully, though it happened for Hannah first, and she walked over to heal Mei-Lien and repair the damage her clothing had taken. "That wasn't so bad. It hurt, but not as badly as I expected it to" she said, sitting up and peering down the main hallway, the only way they had yet to go.
