He needs to resolve the lvl 1 minibosses, their hitboxes and animation mis judges how long you hold the buttons for sometimes making it extremely annoying to try and remove the shield.

Truthfully, the only complaint I have is the placement of the masturbate/seduce keys.

Might work better if Seduce were assigned to R, and Masturbate assigned to E.

You need to duck under his laser beam and backflip from his claws.

The key configuration sucks....but even more the slow actions it takes years to get down or change from seduce to an action.

Can see why he disappeared for a month. As this has little resemblance to the game he was designing before this one.

Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of what he had before. Animations and boss design along with a plot dialog as well. Hopefully will tweek the control scheme a bit. Only minor compliant.

oblivion is easy no matter how high the difficulty is set

For the time being you can click on the logo at the bottom left of the start screen to skip to the second level, if that's what you're looking for. Respending the points is far less tedious than going through the entire first level again, and this game IS still just in beta.

ive been following gorepetes posts on LoK, and he's said he IS going to implement a save game feature after he finishes level two.

Also for those that didn't know, there's been an update with the Chozo midbosses being fuckable
Though with the animation it seems more along the lines of our demoness trying to survive it

That update seems to have fixed things a lot. The midbosses in the first stage no longer have their sweet spot, the boss of the first stage's attacks can now be dodged without requiring the timing of a ninja.

Second stage midbosses are a massive pain in the ass and I still have trouble trying to get into range to attack them without running INTO them, and then usually get smashed about by the counter-attack before I can react to it... so stage 2 is still as big a "fuck you" as the first stage boss was to me initially, but it's nice to see things getting more playable.

I do like the main character as a character though and her attitude towards things. It's rare to see someone do a demon who doesn't annoy me so props for that. Look forwards to when things get polished more, but for the love of god please, change the controls. The principle behind making the controls one handed is cute, but in practice is awkward and clumsy. :s

No one could reasonably argue that this control scheme is not in dire need of an overhaul. But I consider it insane that you people think this is anything other than vastly superior than making people use their fucking keyboard's d-pad to move their fucking character while putting action functions in the shit-slapping left-hand area. That d-pad movement is still commonplace in the long-past-proliferation-of-wasd era is nothing shy of obnoxious.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, MegatronYES.

Having one hand take care of movement and the other take care of the controls suits me just fine. the WASD was only introduced for the sake of FPS games where you needed to be able to strafe and still use your mouse to aim at targets.

In side scrolling games like this one, having a WASD movement would mean putting the attack, backflip, and mind control buttons on the right hand side of the keyboard. Why is it obnoxious to stick with the d-pad and use the zxcv keys for actions? It seems very intuitive and easy.
