Sounds like a great idea, but I think you posted this thread in the wrong section. I think the appropriate section would be "Under Construction".

Re: Violated Heroine "our style".

You need a good artist that can make more then 1 pic tbh. (not someone that can drawn something that slightly resembles a person, it has to be good)

Look at vh or ryonarpg and that each char has quite a few pics for different event, or special pics for h scenes/game overs.

I don't wanna sound like the bad guy, but many of these rpg-maker projects just get abandoned because eventually one of the makers cba with it anymore.

Vh has been an ongoing project for yearsss now, you can't just whip up something in a month and think it will be anywhere near as good as that.

All he's shown so far is ideas. And those are dime a dozen. So try not to get too exited.

It's usually a good idea to present some kind of proof of concept (something tangible that you've created) as evidence that you're serious about working on the project and getting things done.

Well i guess you wanna make a game like vh not an easy task, but keep in mind that vh took a long time to get to where it is now and to be done by the end of October is just not possible, unless you are talking about a demo witch is most likely, and especially when you haven't even begun to use the wolf rpgmaker.

I would suggest you use rpgmaker xp(vx is more simplified its just i got too fond of the side battle system script somebody made for xp) from personal experience i find it has the most to offer. Once you get a firm grasp of the engine you can delve in its complexities by creating your own scripts to change the engine to more of you liking.

But even getting to the point of "OK I'm gonna make a game now" is a long ways away you have to plan everything.

Your plot:Heroines get raped and impregnated various(simple enough i think)

Your sense of art style: pixel, line art or 3d

The look of your main character and the engine, hud, over world sprite:

^^^^
The best i can do for an example in a little more than 30minutes.

The list could go on.

My advice would be to practice everything that you need to create the bare bones(like an artstyle and a simplified engine) and then you can begin to put the flesh on it.

But hey you got your ideas done and that is the first step to anything.

I'll agree with the suggestion to switch to XP or VX (there are side battle scripts for VX, find them at ). Basing your game on needing a translated program isn't a safe start. There's a free trial for RPG maker (I would suggest buying it if you are going to be serious about it) and loads of good tutorials ( is a good starting point).

Don't worry too much about graphics initially. The hardest part of this will be getting the game starting. Do text scenes for now. There's plenty of H images/CGs available online, and 3d custom girl is a great program for this (used by my Harem, Seyser's Elysium, Kit's Despair, etc) that lets someone with no artistic talent (me) create good H images for the game.

I wouldn't focus too hard on beating VH currently. That's a game that has months if not years of development from an entire team, and for right now, it's just you. You can try to follow it's style (imitation is the strongest form of flattery), get out a proof on concept demo at least, and then start recruiting. People have great ideas here every day, but very few have the kind of patience and work ethic to make them happen. Prove to the people that may want to help you that you are serious about it, and then they will join you.

Feel free to PM me any questions you have. While I won't take any active role until you have a proof of concept at least, I'd be glad to help you avoid some early pitfalls in game development.

The thing i liked most about vx was auto treasures and that's about it.
I don't like the 3d custom girl method it's just way too lazy and it all looks all too similar for me and i am lazy so i guess if it's your decision to use it then well.. use it.

But seriously it does cut the game creation time in half(if i make 50 cgs in one hour with custom girl as to 1 hand drawn art work)
So if you do the math you'll see what's best and i see why it appeals to a lot of people especially with no artistic talent like ker said. That being said I'd highly recommend that method for anybody not up to the task of improving themselves artistically.

But to me its just meh..... I'd rather just keep practicing my pixel art and when i get really good then i'll do all the artwork like that.

Eh, anyone whose spent the time developing a game and has made anything playable can't be accused of being lazy. I've been amazed at the amount of time that Harem has taken me, and that's even with other people taking care of all the maps, effects, and 90% of the debugging. All I do is write events and create the images, and I don't even want to guess on how long I've spent on it. Easily over 100 hours at least.

When you're doing small team development, you have to keep an eye at results on time spent. Unless you have a dedicated artist on the team, creating images 50x the images for the same time is a choice you have to make if you want to get anything done. There's been all kinds of plans and scenarios I've had to scrap not because they were bad, not even that I didn't know how to do it, just because it would of taken too much time to develop.

Time management is incredibly important in these projects. Small things can, will, and frequently do blow up and become huge projects. Unless you can take a step back and honestly ask yourself if it's worth the time, you'll never get anything released.

Trust me i know all about the time it takes to make a game we still haven't released a demo for the game I've been working on with rydin32 yet because well there is not enough free time for me, but thankfully i have time to work on the art now... I'm not saying that you are lazy its just i find the method used for the art is as my opinion, cutting corners saves time but too differentiate yourself from the pack it is worth the time in my opinion regardless of what people think.

And for those who weren't following along, he had no intention of actually making a game, he was just trying to get people to send him pregnant H-pics.

And VH was made with RPG Maker 2000, so it's a bit of a blast from the past.

Yeah, I'll be honest, I wasn't really paying much attention. I was really just clarifying for that guy.
