This is my own RPGVX cartoon-porn project, a game called Elysium.

Hongfire forumites have probably already seen this, but with Hongfire currently "indisposed," I may as well set up shop here for the time being.

You can skip scenes by hitting the Q key twice when the sword icon is displayed in the upper left. Make sure nobody's in the middle of moving when you do it, though, or the game may freeze.

love it so far but anyway to get past the bandit boss cuz im at low hp when i get to her or is there a way to lvl up?

You should be able to get to here without fighting almost anyone. Make sure to keep you resilience up and guard the round after she prepares for a big swing.

In my case, the two you fight before her wear my health down too much, and even with resilience kept up she takes me out with regular attacks

Work in progress, and yes.

(demo implies that the game itself is done, but you're just getting a sample to tempt you into buying it.)

Yes. And in case Xenia's little warning at the end wasn't clear, I strongly recommend against wandering around afterward (going back to the bandit forest in the current version leads to freezes).

Not that I think you'd have trouble figuring that out, but when I posted the update on Hongfire I explicitly said as much, and yet the first response was somebody saying OMG GAME FREEZES AFTER ITS OVER. Thus further eroding my faith in humanity.

Mmm... nope. Among some more devout families in history, it's actually been the "in" thing to name your daughters after assorted Christian virtues, which is how you end up with girls named things like Charity, Chastity, Grace, Prudence, etc.

Somehow, I think it would've been funnier, and a little ironic, to have named the general Chastity.

A different question though: will it be possible to recruit the generals or are they just doomed to be breeding stock?

Oh, possibly. Some of them may be a little less... dedicated, shall we say, than others. Of course, whether you would trust such a person to work for you is another matter entirely.

How the Fack do you get anywhere in the first chapter/prologue, I cant seem to find what to do, you cant enter the chamber, cant get upstairs, cant go outside, cant go to the basement... talked to everyone I can talk to... what do I need to do???

chapter 2 and 3, cant beat the enemies, way to strong... specialy the chapter 3 one... I dont get what to do to beat her, cause that 3rd move never works, and she kills you way before you can kill her... :S

the forest thing on chapter 2, is there like a secret passage or something, cause beating the guards also is a no.....

Realy annoyed the shit out of me, that this was so hard and I didnt get what to do or where to go..... :'(

The 1 scene I saw was pretty good though.... so if there is a walkthrough or some tips or help or anything would be appreciated...

The 'Subdue' attack is the finisher, but if you use it to early it does little. Most battles you'll want to use your basic attack to build night energy and use arousing strike as energy permits. Keep resilience up at all times and use regenerate when your health is low. When the game tells you your opponent is weakened in some way, that's when you subdue her. Every battle will usually add in another twist or skill, but that's the basic pattern.

Basic priority
1. Keep resilience up
1. Use regenerate when health is low
3. If the game has told you your enemy is weak, use subdue
4. Use arousing strike if you have sufficient energy for arousing + a regenerate
5. Basic attack

I played it again, with the help of the walkthrough and the tips that you gave Ker, I finished the game...

Its actualy pretty good.... some of the battles where quite hard to win, specialy the last one... but they are manage-able...

wished there where more scenes though... there arent all that many in there in totall, not saying its not enough... just wished it had more...

But yeah, good game... only point of critique I would give is:
The text isnt fitting on the screen... its out of bounds, and makes it sometimes hard to get what they say or what is told... so to say.... maybe try and fix that...

Keep it going, realy liked the story alot so far....
