The attack on the villagers is fine, but no save game option before moving on?

Pretty sure by the time players figure out how to get through the bandits their health is going to be mid-low and you don't have any potions or spells to recover with before you reach the fort and no means to save the game. (unless I'm missing some thing)

Which means replaying the whole village scene over again followed by the bandits.

Just my $2 worth, but otherwise its good.
I like the animation of the npc character jumping for joy and being boxed in gives an extra element not seen in most of the other rpg's I've played.

I'm pretty new to RPG games so I come with a fresh outlook and didn't know there was an option to see the world map with this game. May be I missed it or its a function built into RPG but it would be helpful to know even if its just in a readme doc with all the button functions.

Out of interest what key is it?

@ fling2: no no no, there is no world map view, you get on the world map when you get out of a building/city or whatever you are in, its the bigger map... if you press 'Esc' the escape button, there are the options, normaly when you are in a map it wont have you save there for some reason, but on the 'world map' you can save at any time... ^^

I would suggest reading the walkthrough btw, I myself got stuck in this game at some time as wel.... so a walkthrough is realy helpfull then... (it can be a realy tough game if you dont know what to do... xD)

Btw, you can also change your Equipment and such with the 'Esc' button, its the general button for your options, other RPG games might use Shift for this btw.... also holding down 'shift' or 'enter' in most games makes you able to run... wich is handy so you dont take forever to get somewhere...

If you need more help, then just post it, and someone wil help you I am sure.. ^^

Btw, is there an update in the making, are you working on an update, and if so, when might it be out Seyser?? ^^

A giant (but not terrible) bug: When you first enter the fort, after beating the bandits if you enter the bottom right area, you trigger "being the succubus" and the "open the gates" part of the game. Jumps you ahead so far.

A minor bug: if you enter the inn in the capitol after leaving the fort and try to enter the closet, you get the same message as you did when entering the closet in the inn in the town where the princess was raped. Pretty funny.

I keep noticing these huge bugs like this immediately after putting something up for release. That one actually is pretty terrible, since Darius won't have access to any of his higher-level abilities (anything besides Resilience) for the fights with Kathryn. Plus, even if you got through the fort battle, the way it's programmed means the game would still think you're finishing Chapter 2, so it would send you to Estrus for the Chapter 3 intro. And then when you made your way back to the fort a second time it would be bugged all to hell because all the relevant switches (programming-wise) are already activated.

Yeah, that's not just a copy-paste of the other inn's map at all.



Projected release date for the next version got pushed way back because I decided it would be better to do a bigger release. But then again, I never really set a projected release date anyway. Meh.

This is an amazing game. Though the mapping is simple, (I noticed some houses have no windows) But the Battles is awesome! Also, nice work on the naked sprites!

But btw, the Hooligans that were raping Ophelia does not have matching battler with the sprite (You used Rogue battler. Should be Bandit battler).

As for Yolande's bandits, I might have a matching battler for them (Since you used Rogue battler on them too while the sprites were Sailor sprites.)

It wasn't, but I don't really care at this point. There's not much in the current version in the way of spoilers or unfinished upcoming content.
