He still has not finished game, it gets better by making a game then when he gets bored he changed project.
Parasite in city has more chance to be done (mid-November) that this game.

to be fair, hound of the blade uses animated cg in sprite form and more. Overall, harder to do than sprite animation. And Parasite City's sprite animator is god damn good at it. The guy in hounds of the blade is an amatuer, but impressive for what he's done despite the slow work.

IIRC wasn't there also an issue with the maker of HotB not being able to sell the game because he uses elements of 3D characters that are available for sale? I remember seeing that he linked to those characters in a previous blog post of his.

I think that would be a good enough reason to not be motivated to finish it. I'm always happy to see another update, but I immediately assume it's on indefinite hiatus the second I finish the latest content.

If you go back you'll find the translation that Wessex made. If you copy and paste the folders in that zip file to the main folder and then overwrite everything when asked, you'll be able to play in English.

I just played through on English the other day. Did find a number of grammatical (and maybe spelling) errors. Overall, though, it's a good translation. A least now I know what's going on.

Wow this game is so much better with the translations, thanks a lot guys. It makes you want to actually play the game instead of just getting graped constantly, the story is pretty interesting and I like the characters.

Hey, I can't read Japanese. I get as far as beating the two mobsters. From what I read however there is another quest if you beat them. Can I get a walk through for that part. I've tried chatting up everyone but no luck.

Yeah, translators did a great job. I finally put this above Nanocrisis now (Quite a bit above it). Before getting through all the story/dialogue was just a chore since I didn't understand any of it, but it's actually pretty good and worth reading.

I would, but all the translation links I've tried seem to say, this is invalid or something like that. Maybe I'm just failing at looking it up :( .

Yeah, I tried that one. when ever I try to open it I got some sort of unzip.invalid message.

Did you read what I wrote? I ziped it with rar but only could upload zip on the site. So before you try to unzip it turn the extension back to rar.

i just do hope we will see some more enemies before he drop this project! i would love to see some dog and more insect enemies

Yes, Win7/Win8 are known to have issues with this game.
Not much anyone has been able to do about it ether. I think there was a possible fix with sound .dll's a few pages back.

right click on your sound icon on the bottom right of your desktop; Under "playback devices" disable the audio before you start the game... (speakers, real tech audio etc) After game starts put the audio back on...

Game fixed!
