So perhaps a bit ahead of myself but with the success of the game, least Id say so with over 2000 downloads and still in 2nd place on the Dlsite (and those outside it). Do you have any plans on the next game already by chance? Note that Im not rushing or saying jump on it, but just interested.

I know if I was in the situation I would be almost too excited to get started on the next

2. I gave him some.
3. SBresource demanded more of my time and involvement and acted as though he were entitled to it.
4. I didn't like his attitude, and didn't want to deal with him ever again, regardless of what he wanted.

As for the next game's status, I'm going to make a post on my blog soon. I was waiting for some information on translation prices before giving a status update, since what I do next will depend on it somewhat. I'll also be giving a rundown of some of the financial and tax related stuff, since I'm sure many potential game developers will be interested to know about it.

Darn you for not being there at his beckon call lol Not like you should really need any information to do a guide for the game. Only thing I can think of is "I found all of these powerups, are there any other ones secretly hidden somewhere?". Bout it really. Anyway, don't blame you a bit for turning him away.

speaking about powerups and hidden stuff: i have found this one room that I thought was a secret room but it was empty: when you enter the streets for the first time and head to the factory (where you get the wall jump and fight the first boss) the very last screen before actually entering the factory has two insects (the drey walking ones) near street lights and there is a way up from them - I came back to that place with a wall jump and climbed up there and there were some jump pads with an electric field which I got through and after that it seemed to have a pedestal for a powerup of some kind but there was nothing on it - i felt sad
did anyone else find it or was it meant to be this way or was it fixed?

That's weird, when I got there a stat booster was there (forgot which stat though). I was playing V4 at the time I think.

Look at Tifa Tan X (If you never played this, you will love it more then kurovadis)

lol no. Tifa Tan X is a generic beat'em-up no one would give a damn about if it didn't have hentai content. on the other hand Kurovadis has some genuinely brilliant game design easily comparable to the best of the Castlevania games. Kyrieru makes something as basic as jumping around and shooting things tactical with some extremely well thought out game mechanics, the way your first gun has low range unless you let it recharge, the strong melee attack you can charge, it's all very simple but your arsenal is carefully planned out to make the most rudimentary challenges more engaging, and the level design complements this perfectly.

There is even legit pirating where something copy written is out of date, it then becomes free to the public.

Bahahaha, what a load of crap! Copyright hasn't expired on anything created since 1978, and a huge number of works dating back to 1923 are still under protection!

Well he's made a new blog post, and the bottom line that everyone wants to know is he's made a Gross income from Kurovadis knocking in at $20'000. Given the Tax Deduction that leaves him with $14'000, So I'm happy, and glad he's managed to make a success of his skills.

Good to see atleast someone's dream is actually starting to shoot up.

I have no obligation to provide you with information, or more importantly, my time. Don't act as though this is some sort of deal where I've agreed to uphold my end of a bargain, or that the amount of work you've done somehow entitles you to my involvement. You began work on this project on your own, for your own reasons, before I had even responded to your questions. If you weren't prepared for me to say no to something, then you shouldn't have started in the first place.

That is not demanding, I was asking nicely for something so simple. Which I do not care to give two squirts of piss whether he does or not.

I can understand that your busy, perhaps with a new game and life. So, I can understand why you wouldn't want to give me more information. However, let me explain what I have done so far:

Recorded Game play with commentary 1hour 48minutes
Edited raw footage for censorship and smoothed out video and audio
Rendered Video in High definition 1920x1080-60i. 30Mbps took 16 hours
Uploaded HD to Youtube, took 12 hours at 4.2 Gigs
Reformatted Video into lower res, half of original took 2 hours
Uploaded Lower Res to Youtube, took 2 hours at 380MB

After this, I will be making a full/complete/100% Data Base of your game with full visual walk through. However, when I was thinking how to do this. I realized this could take me more then 4 hours.

All I want is data for All enemies and bosses, actually all I need is there Health Points and please let me know if there is a Health Point Multiplier for difficulty.

I will do the rest, when I am finished I will have you review it and hope that you post it on your website.

I will label all monsters and bosses
I will take snapshots of all areas
I will show HP of all monsters and bosses
I will Show all damage calculations for each weapon
I will show all XP for each monster and boss
I will show what XP is needed to reach any level
