Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

That would be super cool of you, if possible.
Here you go:

Make sure you put it into your graphics folder. Replace it with your current character folder. Remember to backup your old character folder. You never know what might happen.

Also, this is for the translated 1.4 version, I don't know if it works for other versions.

Re: Translation

Phew, finally a new patch:

Latest translation patch - (replace the "data" folder of your decrypted game with this one)
- 2013-08-01
Mirror: - 2013-05-24

I'll keep editing this post and updating this file.

Unfortunatelly nothing really new was translated in this patch. But now everything I translated before was proofread and I translated the dialogues for every possibility in each scene. In other words, now it doesn't matter if Mikami is wearing her swimsuit or not, if she is pregnant or not... the scenes that were translated before will now be in English under any of those conditions.

(It is pretty boring to spend hours copying and pasting dialogues that I already have translated, I'm glad that I'm done and now I can work on the translation again). I hope you like it.

For those that don't have the decrypted game yet, here is the downloads again:

Decrypted game, partially translated:

Mirror: already with the 2013-05-24 patch
(btw, this is the version 1.04, as it always was. The name of this file used to be "1.03", but that was my translation number, not the game's)

VX RTP (Just in case somebody doesn't have it installed yet. You'll need this in order to run most of games created in RPG Maker VX.)

Edit:
Thanks again Ramza,we're still cheering you on,keep up the good work friend! :)

For those who are having problems with VCT's patch use this:

temp-share(dot)com/show/KdP03ayuh

I replaced Actors, Animations, Areas, Armors, Classes, Enemies, data with the ones from ranmza's patch and it works fine for me as far as I can tell.

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

Guys when I dowload the game and click the .exe it crashes with the message RPGVX and some words in japanese. ¿Why?

I can't donwload rpg maker from the link so i downloaded it from other pages, I don't think that's the problem.

1) Did you extract the game while in Japanese System Locale?

2) Did you download the japanese RTPs? The English ones won't work. I think most of the file names in XP and up are the same across versions, but english RTPs lack the DLLs.

If you can't access their official site, just get a proxy.

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

Not sure I think what happened was that someone combined the complete(albeit flawed)version that was leaked from some private translation group. Someone combined that with the version Ramza made.

Made some grammatical changed and released it. This is just pure speculation. All I know is that Ramza's version hasn't been updated in over a month. And that has me worried.

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

Can anyone help me here, please?
The first time I runned Vitamin Quest after unpacking it, it run flawlessly without any error or mistake. But after I tried to move the folder of the game to another location it started to give me errors on starting the game. I tried moving it back to the original location, but it didn't help.. I tried restarting,changing my system locale to Japanese,English... nothing.

The first error was "graphics/system/window"
so I fixed it by making a copy of another picture and just renaming it "Window.png" but after that errors with the sound started
sound/se
So I had to rename them as well, but since I don't know which sound corresponds to every error I can't fix it.

Can anyone help me, please? I love this game and I want to play it, but this is just pissing me off...

Is the name of the files wrong or something? I don't understand.

The first error was "graphics/system/window"
maybe its a DEP problem? It can't access said files and reports an error? I have no idea, I've never came across such a thing when playing this. Goodluck though, if it is aforementioned problem then it's an easy fix. Try to add it as an exception and see if it works.

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

No.. the file doesn't exist. I have to create it in the folder so that it can run. Or I have to alternatively rename one of the files in there to that name.

Let's see... Since this file "graphics/system/window" is a file from the standard RPG Maker database, I guess the problem is that your game can't find the files in the main database, like lulong said. Maybe you deleted it or changed its path? Are you having similar problems with other RPG Maker VX games?

In my computer, for example, the database is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterbrain\RGSS2\RPGVX
But I guess that can change from computer to computer.

Anyway, maybe you could try reinstaling the database:

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

Let me explain a little bit more:

Today every game that I had installed (I installed several) they all runned normally without any problems. Then I decided to make a separate folder in my games folder in E:/ called "hentai games". Then I moved each hentai game from the original position in "E:/Games" to "E:/Games/Hentai Games/". Then the problems started popping up. I didn't try all the games, but I tried 3 that I installed today (Vitamin Quest included) and 2 of them stopped working after I moved them to a new folder. Vitamin Quest and Tamashi Rio. I tried unpacking them from the rar again in the original folder in E:/Games but they just didn't work... even though I restarted the computer, used different system locals... nothing. I spend like 1-2 hours doing stuff and none of it worked.

If I fix this error like I said above other errors start popping up... which wasn't the case when I first runned the game today...

I tried what you suggested above, ramza.. sadly reinstalling it didn't work.
This is the first error that I get when I start the game:

This is the first error that I get when I start the game:
If those were actual games you install (cause you don't install rpg maker games btw) I would told you that moving them was definitely the cause since it'll no longer match the registry.

But since you don't actual install those games and just unzip and go, my only guess is that it exceeds character limits thus causing an error. However even that isn't the case since you unpacked in the original folder and they still don't seem to work.

You may have a more serious system problem going on that just happen to randomly delete or change the values of your files. Do a virus run just in case to make sure there's nothing in your system messing with your files.

Re: Vitamin Quest (びたみんクエスト)

Yeah, that's weird.
I changed name of the "window" file in the database folder in my computer here and tried to run the game, just to simulate a situation where the game can't find the files on my database. I got the same error here, what suggests that, for some still unknown reason, your games can't find the files in your database indeed.

Just a wild guess: There should be a notepad-like file called "game" in your game folder. When you open it, is the text in it like that?
[Game]
RTP=RPGVX
Library=RGSS200E.dll
Scripts=Data\Scripts.rvdata
Title=Project1
Also, is the database installed somewhere in E: too?

Anyway, a not very convenient solution would be going to where your database is and copy and paste all the files there in the folder where your game is.

Because when the RPG Maker game needs a file, it looks for it in two places: in his own folder and in the database folders. In this case I guess it just can't find your database, but it can find the files in the game's folder. So you could move everything there. The file names would be the same as they are in the database.
