So, what version of the game are you working with, Monkeyman? Would it make sense to have the same version?

Consider using BPS or IPS or bsdelta patches for binary files like pictures. Means you can distribute things that generate your modified versions without including any substantial part of the original.

1.23, it won't matter what version you have, once you over write it with the files I upload it'll be up/down graded to that version.

Well, good news is, I only have the final town and dungeon to do. Bad news? They're pretty big and I'm away from my translating laptop for the next 2 days. I'd say before the end of the month you might see it. Don't hold me to that though.

You could just release a partial patch of what you've got, and save the final town and dungeon for later. But you're in charge, so no worries either way!

He would have done that long ago if he's willing to distribute partial translation. Let's just wait patiently.

I considered it but the problem with that is troubleshooting for old versions etc.

Just wanted to post a bit of encouragement for Monkeyman767. I've played your Saki Quest translation and it was great. Thanks for the wonderful contributions and I can't wait for this translation! (Literally, I have the Japanese version downloaded to my desktop ready to apply your patch)

On a side note, what game do you play to translate after this one? If I may make a recommendation:

RJ105442
"Arms Devicer!"

This game is quite nice much like Virgin Island. I consider it also one of my favs. Again, thank you so much!

Because Arms Devicer is already translated and some drama happened that made sure this forum won't ever have it... right?

By the way, Starke... is the link for that joke translation still around? I kinda missed downloading it. I was gonna wait a week or so before downloading it... but... that happened... and the thread got erased. PM? (^_^)

Yeah basically I haven't done any work in a while, I underestimated my will power to translate it. The way I work is kinda marathon bursts of translating for about 4 days, then not touching it for weeks because it makes me want to dash my brains in. There really isn't much left and I think that's what's bugging me cause I've left the big stuff till last :p It WILL be out soon but probably not by the end of the month.

you can pay their price. but i doubt, it's worth it. i'd rather donate to monkeyman directly... i presume he's doing all the work, so he deserves the credit.

I still have it, I actually played it and found it funny as hell but don't know if the link is still up.
