Jenny got to a knee and took aim at the 2nd Grabber held her breath and squeezed the trigger letting her rifle bark in her hands. Maybe it was her excellent eyesight or the chill in the air but Jenny traced the path of her bullet while her hands went threw the motions required to get the bolt action rifle ready for another shot.

A rifle at such range as a completely different beast, the stability, power and accuracy were both far superior. Jenny to her knee and let loose a shot right at the center of the creature her bullet piecring the fog and leaving a clear trail going in and through the grabber. The girl smirked as the creature lightly fumbled from the impact, she was feeling rather confident in her shot... until Reincan showed her what years of experience do to a man.
He didn't even kneel as he paused a moment seemingly aligning his shots... the creatures lumbering forward. What was he waiting for?! Still a moment later two shots rang out, seemingly at the same time. The girl eyed in amazement as both creautres exploded in a display of gore, only a trail from Reincans shot a hint of their fate. The man smirked lightly "I'd say let's keep score, but you need some more practice with your weapons." sure he was cocky, but damnit he had the right to be...
Still soon, whatever discussion they would or would not have would be interupted as 8 more figures appeared from the fog. Seemingly human, but the way they walked... and the numerous tentacles sprouting from their back even some from their eye sockets told a different tale... the unfortunate warped appeared. Their clothes hinting of them being once from all flocks of life, 5 males and 3 females... atleast to the best Jenny could tell.

Jenny steadied her breath and let loose a shot at the unfortunate soul. Her research on such creatures seemed more like a burden than a usefull knolwegde. The creatures once used to be simple folk, but were likely caught by the invaders and turned into these mindless husks. The hope of never encountering such a creature up close burnt in the girls heart.
Her bullet once more pierced the creature making it fall down temporarely before getting up.
Meanwhile Reincan was setting up his shots once more, Jenny braced herself and three shots rang out! The first shot made one of the female husks and one of male husks heads fly off from the impact their bodies falling lifeless to the ground.
The third shot however seemed to just as successful, unfortunately seemed the corrupt flesh held the creatures head intact it's head rolling back likely it's neck broken, but it continued it's advance. It was an unnerving sight to say the least... to make it worse the forest shook violently at 2 more grabbers appeared but these were 10 feet tall! "Reloading! Keep em back!" Reincans weapon emptied he needed some time before he was ready once more.
Jenny aimed down her sights picking off the wounded ones choosing her same target she aimed and fired. Fear told Jenny she should have shot the big ones but the girl knew that her shots would do little to slow the big ones down best wait for the sheriff to get on target.

The forest crashed down as the 10 foot grabbers slowly made their advance, the warped one acting like a cannon fodder just so they could approach. Fear took root in Jenny, but she soldiered on. It was her choice to stay and help, what happens if these things reach the city!
Jenny steadied her breath and sharpened her aim at the very least she'll clear the frontlines of warped till the sheriff brings down the big ones. A shot rang out! The trail leading right through the female Jenny first shot at, making her spin back and fall lifeless to the side.
Reincans weapon cooled as he quickly added some bullets into his chamber, though he didn't seem particulary distressed. Even with the horde approaching he kept his cool, making sure his weapon would be ready for battle.
Meanwhile the horde continued to slowly advance it will soon be too close for comfort.
Jenny took aim at the nearly decapitated warped and readied herself again keeping a mental note on how many rounds she had left. Steadying herself once more she took aim and fired hopefully dropping another before Reincarn got his guns in order.

Her hopes were well placed, as the limp corpse keeled over from the impact. Still she was running low on ammo and their enemies were... well not rapidly, but covering fair ground nevertheless!
Still there was some good news! Jenny could hear a whirl of a barrel from nearby! The Sheriff was ready to shoot em up once more!
Not a moment too soon aswell as the creatures were far too close for comfort now. Totalling at 3 of the unfortunate warped and 2 of the towering monsters.
"Jenny hurt one of the grabbers, I'd rather make sure my shot kills them. Don't bother with the warped for now!" he looked at her, hopefully she didn't decide to disobey his command.
"Right!" Jenny took aim at one of the towering monstrosities and fired she had two rounds left before she had to reload hopefully Reincarn could make a good dent in the critters.

Jenny listenend to the command and well with the creature almost casting a shadow on her, it was hardly a shot she could miss! Her weapon rang out and pierced the creature a very loud groan escaping the huge mass.
The Sheriff did not waste time to get his shots accounted for, as he knelt down and rained hell upon the towering behemoths! The weapon fired without stopping, shot after shot, after shot without pause or mercy.
The creatures seemingly shifted with each successful hit, the shots weren't as devastating as they used to be, likely the sheriff didn't want the grabbers to get any closer, lest their corpses make a bridge to the two defenders. Riddled with shots each Grabber groaned out in a deep low voice before hitting the ground with a powerful thud.
Reincan did it, but downstairs the warped crashed against the office walls, they were upon them, but there was no way for the mindless creatures to reach them.
"Jenny catch!" the man would slide his smoking revolver to the girl "You reload em I shoot em? They're coming in hard!"
Numerous screeches rang out from above! The skyray pack was incoming! To make matters worse even more of the warped lumbered out of the forest another of the tower grabbers right behind them!
Jenny quickly began the reloading process her own weapon forgotten for the moment. Perhapse this was a better idea after all she could hardly pump out as much fire as the sheriff was. Focusing on the task at hand Jenny would hand the gun back to Reincarn as soon as it was finished.

Reincan smiled at Jenny "Is it a she or a he?" looked like weapon personification was nothing new to him. Upon finding out the weapons name the sheriff double checked if the weapon was loaded. And aimed down...
The warped under them continued to pound at the wall, grunting and yelling in rage. Their targets were so close, but there was no way for them to reach their pray. Meanwhile the horde slowly approached the two heroes, the warped dragging their bodies forward with the single intetent to kill or capture whoever they encountered.
Ignoring the ones below the sheriff once more aimed down to shoot the grabber, getting into a prone position for better accuracy. After all the repeater was not a long range weapon.
The man steadied his bretah and pulled down the trigger and amazingly the giant creautre shifted it's weight actually dodging the bullet, another follow up rang out actually missing! The sheriff scoffed lightly and briefly before firing once more! HIT! And what a hit it was!
The Grabber stumbled from the force, frost covering it's all body and freezing still. Reincan shot twice more, clipping it's legs and forcing the creatures frozen body to crash down onto it's allies.
Above them the sky rays screeched out they found their targets! "Jenny! When those rays get close throw a grenade at em!"

Noting Jennys uneasiness with the explosives "...you're gonna have to cook it Jenny... or you can just give it to me." the man slowly approached the edge and let loose 2 executing shots at the warped smashing into the office walls.
"Well she sure lives up to her name..." the man smirked lightly as the corpses quickly froze up from the enchanted bullets before giving Jenny her gun back in return receiving his revolver ready to shoot once more.
Reincan looked up at the swooping rays "They'll be upon us soon. Screw it, don't cook it. You'll blow both of us up." he snickered lightly throw it at em as it is now, I'll detonate it.
Whatever Jenny was about to say quickly got interupted as she noticed a disturbance going through the fog... THERE WAS SOMETHING THERE! "SHE--" "I saw it... throw that grenade at those rays, we've got to flare up before they close the distance!"

Jenny threw the grenade to the best of her abilities right at the flock of rays divebombing towards them. Reincan carefully trailed the target and let a shot loose right at the right moment.
"Alright light em up!... Jenny?" the girl was quickly busy reloading the weapon "DAMNIT! Jenny focus! Fire a flare! They never attack solo!" still thankfully Reincan saw atleast one of them. He quickly aimed down ready to shoot it down aswell, but without the flare revealing it's ally the two may be in trouble.

The flare shot up brightly illuminating the surrounding area and making even the nigh-invisible hunters stand out easily "I see you bastards..." Reincan aimed down and the rushing hunters flatout gunning down the first one, with the other one using a fallen grabber as a stepping stone for it's animalistic lunge!
The sheriff got off two good hits on the creature mid-air, but it wasn't enough as it landed right on top of the man both of the rolling across the roof almost falling off.
Seemed the hunter had a perfect position to tear the mans throat out "Get it off me!"
