Conversations like these are unproductive.

Yes, no update in a long time means that further updates are unlikely. This is something everyone is both aware of, and constantly reminded of.

It's like the kid that needs to say "WELL THIS IS AWKWARD" if it's been silent for more than 15 seconds (or its far more dangerous cousin, "SO WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?").

One single timeline update in the the past one and a half months. I don't think there has ever been a break this long.

I honestly don't believe the game will ever get completed, not at the speed it's been progressing in the past year. All we can hope for now is that Zikare releases the next version at some point

I posted because I was wondering if there was another place he was posting or if anybody had heard anything. And good thing I did...because people had heard some thing and he had posted in other places.

The game is not quite dead yet people, some fresh timeline entries have appeared showing Zikare is still working on it.

I'd like to try this game, but I cant get anywhere - it hangs on the 'Warning!' splash screen and no combination of buttons I press seems to get me anywhere. The program is still running, nothing is frozen, I'm kinda just sitting here.

Anyone else get this?

Update: A well placed face to the keyboard seemed to have gotten it moving. I just hope the creator plans to patch out face-to-keyboard interactivity, since it might give me a headache.

You need to "escape" from that screen.
Just push esc.

I'm surprised with as active as his timeline has been that there hasn't been an updated demo. Glad he's still working on it if only slowly, hard to tell how much progress has been made on it.

Especially since his (old and unused I'm guessing) blog page hasn't had ANY action in 6 months.

yeah then if u hit roadmap then you will see roughly how close he is. it seems he is streamling, if I remember correctly from his blog he has issues with lots of lines of code.

It is pretty cool that we can see all his goals and accomplishment with that. I wouldn't trust the "38%" though since I think it assumes everything on that list takes the same amount of time to do. A lot of the unfinished things are labeled as "Minor", mostly being small bug fixes.

There have been zero timeline updates since 8.21.14

Nothing at all on his blog since Christmas time...no updates...no real news on what he's been up to...really hoping it isn't dead in the water. Such a cool looking game.

I still check over the blog, but it hasn't been anything besides the naysayers and those blindly believing that are still arguing over the state of the game. The fact is that his last demo was around a year ago and his last posts were months ago. Until he shows up again and starts doing stuff on his own, don't hold any hope for this one continuing.

Sad, because it was already pretty good. The changing dialogue of the main character really made you want to just try it again and again.
