Gah I'm stuck then... That's where one of the crystals is right? The last crystal in my case... Or is the crystal somewhere else?
No, there is a crystal at the bottom of that dungeon. So here's how I remember unlocking that door:
1. Complete the zombie-killing quest for the elder in town. This quest (along with others I mention) is offered by the usual quest-giver in the knight academy.
2. Complete the quest from the elder that requires you to clear out mobs in the area with the door. More specifically, you want the talisman-wearing girls' items. Enter battle with one, steal her talisman, escape, repeat until you have ten. Return to the elder to complete the quest. Talk to him again and the door MAY unlock at this point.
3. There's another quest for whom the client is the cave guard standing just outside the entrance to the cave. This may or may not be optional. If the door doesn't unlock, then do this quest.
4. Talk to the elder and the cave guard again. At this point, the door should definitely be open and you will be able to reach the crystal.
If you're interested in what comes next...
5. Accept yet another quest from the quest-giver for whom the client is the cave guard. You may have to complete other quests first for this to show up. This time, you will not find him outside the cave entrance. In his place is a woman who will tell you he was injured and is resting in the inn. So go to the inn and you will encounter a short cutscene with him entrusting the fate of the village to you (or w/e from what I can tell from my translation program).
The boss for this is a golden catgirl (God of Harvest?) whose card gives +40 CRIT. Very nice. She also drops a weapon, so be ready to save/load for both. Mimic cards help by boosting drop rates by 10% each.
