That bad, but is typical of all the tickets, as with any luck give good things XD

if you does not know, when the story mode is completed, the EX mode is unlocked, where are all the cards that appear in the previous stages.

Rank 4.
Guess I finally found someons who set up a trap.
Maybe next time I should stick to the level 3 oponents till I complete the streak rewards.

Cripes, almost fell for a trap myself against a 4-ticket opponent. Most of these lower power players having mostly weak assists saved me this time, but I'd best tread lightly from here on.

I lost to a 2 ticket opponent the other day at about 140 wins. I wanted to cry. LOL and also the traps are too intense. DONT TRUST ANYONE

All these late combo loses are making me afraid to continue fighting rank 3s. Maybe I'll drop down to a lower rank at 300 wins...

You can setup vs potential traps. Get a team of 5 maxed out SRs of one type and always get an assist card that loses to your chosen type. So there are 3 outcomes in every duel:

-Both cards are same type, best wins(any opponent lower than rank 5 will probably have a worse card than the maxed)
-Your card has the advantage, you beat theirs(unless they beat yours using their assist)
-Their card has the advantage, you pull out the 3rd type and beat theirs)

So when an enemy team is of the type you can beat with yours, you have at least 3 of 5 cards where you have the advantage without the assist. If they assist one of theirs and beat yours, you need to do the same, and vs traps that's only achieved using a type you beat, not the same or the one you lose to since their trap card will be the same type as your assist.

It probably is confusing but trust me, I never lose to traps except to top ranked opponents that can duel out my cards with theirs.



tl;dr: 5 maxed SRs of one type,assist card only of the type you beat, never lose to lower than top rank.

In my book, a trap team is a team secretly packing a strong card of the same type of yours, with the type you're weak to further on the inside than the first. (Alternatively, two cards of the same type as yours, but really strong ones, like the purchase-only pink SRs or EX Lilith and coffin girl) This way, if you use an assist you're strong against on the assumption that they'll be packing two of the type you're weak against, it gets defeated by their card, which seals your fate if they got a good assist.

The only way to defuse these traps is to use a sufficiently powerful assist of the type you're weak to. It automatically beats the first card in these trap setups, and as long as it's strong enough it also defeats opponents packing the type you're weak against.

There's no way to defend against opponents with souped-up EX Liliths and whatnot though, so I moved to the 4-ticket opponents who are all but guaranteed to not have EX wilds used.

I've tried with assist type that beats you and lost by a regular opponent once, so I advise against it.

The thing is, even if they have a powerful card as a trap inside, it's just 1 of 5. They need to have another one that is powerful as well, then beat you with their assist as well to get the majority in their favor.

But that can only happen in top rank, in lower ranks nearly noone has really powerful cards, much less cards that can overpower your own. At least for me and Mud, who have got lots of cards, it's pretty impossible for a lower ranked opponent to pull that off and beat us.

All they need, if the trap card beats you, is a card of the type you're weak to. Assists make or break the outcomes of these skirmishes.

The trap card is a card of the same type as you, but stronger. If you beat your own assist, then the trap defeats your assist as well. That's why it's a trap.
