And some sentences still make zero sense. I'll probably pm you the map when I can, only some npcs left, you can edit the ones that seem gibberish in a way you deem appropriate.

So that it is easier for me when I am integrating the maps you have done try to translate it as literal as possible.

edit: nm figured it out. Apparently I have been using an outdated version of ChiiLite. I have no added 4 translators as well. I will see which one works best for me.

I will go back and finish those CGs I left at Markid before continuing.

BTW: when working on a map do not ignore any squares and tabs. There are things to translate in some of them. There are things missed in Sandra. I will take a look and translate.
And also to make your lives easier when doing this if there are identical npc texts try to copy-paste either the code or the text.
Additionally, when you are translating you may have noticed arrows on the text window. Make sure the text does NOT pass beyond the first set of 2 arrows. Always check by pressing preview. It it doesn't fit in the window it's too long. But otherwise nice work at the 1st map of the town.

Wait did I miss something on Sandra? Apart from the guy and the scenes I specified I'm 100% sure I didn't miss anything.

About the overflowing text, I might have done a mistake one the first npcs but I thought I corrected it.

edit: bloody hell there were some random event squares that had some pieces of story in them. Welp~~~

yep, that's what makes this games interesting ...
and harder to translate ...
Character have talk, Script have info and talk too ...
Event also have tons of talk / Dialogue ...
If you just starting this, better translate talk/dialogue only ...
if some script / code / programming get disturbed, it might causing bug / glitch ...

At first I think translating is so easy, but it's quite tedious ...
(kinda enjoy this tough, if not my mind might get nuts or something if I'm not having some activity ... because too much sadness and stress ...)

Don't sweat it. I adjusted the map already. Please work on the remaining parts of the town. And again my only request is that you don't make the text too long, especially when it has a 2nd or 3rd line, because it gets harder to read. Try to keep it even between all lines. If for example you have 20 words on 1 line (not possible but w/e) and just 1-2 on another then shift some words from 1 to 2, even if a 3rd is needed.

Rock need Power Glove, and Ice need certain lantern ...
don't worry, finish quest around and continue your gameplay ...
you will eventually found it ...

About the Power Glove, it's missable I believe. When you go to the desert dungeon for the 2nd flame, you have to go through the right path first, through the flames, and grab the Power Glove in some chests, cause after you freeze the whole place, you can't reach those chests.

Most, if not all, stuff blocked by either rocks or ice pillars is not essential. Just some bonus items that are hardly worth the trouble. That being said, this is how to get items to get past them. Plus how to get some other items that will be needed.


Quest 3 from private detective in Merukido pub to investigate haunted mansion reward = chart to the Crescent Island (Fairy Queen is there in Fairy Garden.).

Quest 20 to rescue apothecary from bandits reward = magic lantern which clears ice pillars

Quest 14: From Fairy Queen - find fairy in Sandra (under bridge), reward "tears of the elf" can walk on lava in sun temple. Need in order to get Power Glove.

Sun Temple: NW chest of 4 chests at end of flames area gives Power Glove which enables moving stones. Go there first as if you light torches in left area the chests will be blocked by non-meltable ice.

Water Dragon Sanctuary - Bugle Horn of Mermaid allows breathe underwater. Find in right exit of maze - no need to throw any switches.

Don't need. You can walk over the fire without it, you can't die and you will be on 1 hp. To avoid monster use mirage powder if you can't go around them else-wise.

True, but with it you don't get hurt at all in regular lava area of desert dungeon (yellow areas still damage). And it is easy to get once you have quest.
