I don't mind losing out on the Sapphire units. What I'm really peeved about is how they scheduled it so they can take advantage of the fact that people will have to stay subscribed for another month if they want their application to be valid.
The reason why I don't mind too much is because I got Monica out of this, even if it's available to non-subscribers as well. I also wanted to watch the broadcast live since I was interested in the content they will provide.
my account will probably be automatically canceled soon because I have -40$ but maybe its for the best I don't like lisette for having 16 cost and ricca seems OP so unless that machinist isn't actually a puppeteer or comes pre reduced may not have been worth the effort. at least compared to a -1 or 2 ricca whatever I can manage.
I mainly wanted the sapphire machinist incase they revealed its stats or actually gave it to us before this gold rush ended so I could skip trying to get ricca copies but it doesn't look like that was the case
Mikoto im happy about cuz she's my second Mikoto, thus she gets a cost reduction (Already Rainbow'd her skill to max). Although if I could CHOOSE which black I rolled for the sake of reducing Cost, it'd likely be the lovliest Unicorn Knight evar, since her early deployment is nice.

Yes! This made me feel better after ranting about the nico premium stuff. I get to complete my team of ninjas. It's one additional unit I want to raise, but she should fit right in with the type of units I like to use. Now I really want to put in effort to raise Hana and Waltz just so I can take advantage of all my ninjas.
Am I the only one who feels resistance in using duplicates of the same character in the team even though it's not a particularly bad thing from a practical standpoint?
For an example in a recent case, I dropped a second Rita but decided to just feed it off and use stray as my second archer instead. In retrospect, a second Rita could've worked fine as an archer.

It's not a bad idea in itself but soon you will have enough variety of units so that getting a cost reduction or skill up is more important than a slightly difference in units strength.
Example:
Rita(-1 cost) + Stray >> Rita + Rita > Rita + Stray
Or
Rita#1 (-4 cost) + Stray#1 (-2 cost) >>>> Rita#1 (-2 cost) + Rita#2 (-2cost) and 3 copies of Stray getting fat in the bench...
And well, some times u need a unit for its skill and not only the stats.
Finished my STA for the day.i use 2 sc (plus lvl up sta refill) in the gold rush total and this is my results.
Map 1:lots of runs and only get lots of Bouquet +one silver archer.
Map 2:few silver fairy + 1 silver ninja + 2 copy of Lita
Map 3:full drop (my first gold in this gold rush) mehlis + Corinne
Map 4:full drop Reichi + 2 copy of Ricca
Now as a fairly new player what sould i aim for until the next map comes.
also what kind of use ricca+ reichi has.

Ricca is an excellent ganker. You can drop her to fight something 1 on 1 and if something big starts coming her way you can activate her skill to let it slip by. She's also unhealable so she won't draw healer attention to herself. I personally don't use her at all, but many of the others here use her to great success. One of the better plat event units we have gotten.
Raichi is kind of interesting because she's a heavy armor so you can drop her places to tank, but when you activate her skill she does magic damage. Good for trapping stuff with high defense but low magic defense. Case in point is the god tier fairy daily where you typically need to stall several high defense but lower magic defense werewolves which need to die before you are overwhelmed. There are some other ways to stall the werewolves like with Anya, but you get the idea.

Mage armour, another 2 good points about them are:
With they area dmg, the small fly die quick so they can tank the truly nasty guys. It is sad when your HA keeps blocking 2 damn goblins while hitting a high defense enemy, and meanwhile, a wolf with drop slips through :S
Second, they can assist with dmg during a flier wave or if some other unit near them are blocking something.
A little disappointed I was unable to get the nico units again, maybe next time.
I have run the flame gold rush map with over 40 stamina and still no heavy armour this is starting to make me mad, if I didn't need the silver HA for the new plat priest warriors CC I would care less...
In regards to the 3rd light novel that has sybilla's little sister? can I order it anywhere else other than Amazon from the link Petite provided, I got the other two parts from Mangaoh with no problems but I can't see it listed by its title or author, is it an amazon exclusive?
Those new units all look nice especially hyped for the sword carrying ones, I can feel my wallet crying already.. I hope they aren't all gacha.

No, it's not an Amazon exclusive. Japan doesn't do shop exclusives like that. Instead certain shops like Toranoana, Melonbooks, Comic Zin, and Gamers generally will have a '特典' (tokuten; shop special) that's usually something like a telephone card, post card, alternate cover, extra booklet, and so on. Mangaoh sometimes gets tokuten, and Amazon only gets tokuten only on extremely rare instances.
I only gave an Amazon link because it was registered to its database first. The author or illustrator were actually disappointed by it being on there so early; it spoiled their grand reveal about the light novel and serial code being about Sybilla's little sister Patel.
I'll add links to Mangaoh and Honto whenever more details about the light novel are revealed and I find them as a pre-order on either online shop.
My strategy is just to put spica on top of the elf princess and heal plants on the two spots above dorthy. Activate skills when avengers can kill and you're good. If you don't have spica I'm sure you can replace with an elf Archer or that creepy summon girl
