The Grand Quest mode is ridiculously difficult due to lack of weakness bonus damage and a ridiculous 10 match long with Special Quest 3 difficulty. (This is for 5 star or above units only, 4 star or below has an easier time with a weaker dungeon)

Also, there's a bug when a player disconnects at entrance screen, the game continues on with that player's unit doing nothing but normal attacks. That obviously doesn't work.

3 New Units has been released, all 6EV7 potential. The current rate for them is 3x for this week.
For every gold gacha ticket you spend, you get a AP regen.

Ok, that was actually ridiculously fun due to the awe-inspiring music. If you are playing with other people who knows what they are doing, it somehow comes together magically. (Or falls apart if you are dealing with an idiot or afker)

Just beat a match with an afk mage from round 1. That was brutal, and I had to use a continue. The reward items was worth it though. 200% drop rate is awesome and give me 2 of the holy ritual item for the new girls.

All 3 of the above is from gold gacha. Your out of luck.

常代雪 gets a 15% bonus to all stats now.

There's one more rare drop from Grand Quest mode open beta test (GQB from now on) for 5 star unit or higher. That's a 6 star wind mage with max potential of 6EV7.

Update: Note to self, exp doesn't carry over after evolution, went over 25k over in terms of wasted exp by feeding a 5 star Lv20 unit. After evolution exp is reset to 0 and fire wolf girl Mai was fed to remax the level post evolution. (Since 常代雪 has 15% bonus and Mai doesn't)

GQB is in beta, they mentioned it already, expect it to be broken every so often. (And more often than not per run)

Just found out that even if you do get lucky, you only have 1/4 of the chance to actually get her I am afraid. (Due to there's 4 player and she only drops once? Either way, I haven't gotten a second one regardless of how much I run GQB)

Update: Apparently, Grand Quest somehow climbed to 3rd on the DMM ranking. Which is extremely surprising.

My luck for the new girl has been quite bad.

I just had one of the worst match ever. The enemies literally only attacked me the entire session and all the other players were just drones attacking normally... My god it was a miracle I was able to tank and heal myself til round 6, where i finally died after mana exhaustion...

GCB has the other player using only normal attack if he leaves. Their unit is then invincible and will no longer be targeted by the enemy (untouched by aoe)
Refresh the browser next time if other people are drone attacking or a bad team composition, no AP drain if you do that.

I've been doing that nowadays. It would be nice if they improve the AI for those character to be smarter and use skills when needed. That or arbitrarily give a player control of the unit.

I've also been wondering how are unit stats added when leveling. I noticed that people using the same unit as me at max level tend to have differences in HP and MP. For example my lvl25 starter wind unit tends to have 50 more HP but 10 MP lesser than someone else's unit.

Stats variance occur from leveling, which is mostly random. You can see up to 5% variance in stats. (But usually just +/-2% or less)

There's nothing you can do about the RNG, other than praying or leveling multiple copies of the same unit.

Congrats Keima, she's definitely a lmao rare drop though.

I haven't gotten a second copy since my first, especially considering how much I grinded. (Though I been mostly doing SP dungeons)

Sadly the game keeps bugging to me at the Beta Version of GrandQuestB. So I can't reach at the final levels
