The difference between the first game and this demo of the 2nd is that losing the girls in the first was entirely your fault. In the first you could easily keep your generals safe by not making stupid attacks with them, you could easily rescue them from the enemy, you could save the sub-enemy general in the upper-right by taking them over before red, you could avoid the 'surprise' rape scenes that triggered under certain conditions (ie leaving the bandit lord and the princess alone) once you knew about them, etc. The NTR elements didn't get in the way of the gameplay at all. It didn't even really feel like NTR as it was really no surprise what losing them to the 'evil dude that made a pact with demons and monsters' was going to result in. It was still a decent strategy game limited only by the fact that it played out the same every time.

The king in the 2nd is a different matter. You can do nothing wrong and be on track to winning against pink, not losing any of your units...and still lose nearly all your generals to the king. You don't just lose the general though, you lose the entire unit attached to that general. Even if you bargain for them back, they start back with 0 soldiers. Meaning you have to have them sit there and rebuild. Meaning the king will just hound them and take them again before you have a chance to get them battle-worthy again. Once the king is at your 'front line', he's just going to camp there and prevent you from using your female units ever again. Compounding all this further is that your generals gain XP and skills (the demo starts with everything unlocked for testing obviously). Lose that champion general that had the lion's share of XP? You lose I guess.

It's a terrible mechanic the interferes with the gameplay of an otherwise reasonable strategy game. You want a douchebag king 'ally' stealing all the women, make an AVG or just write a manga. While it's just the demo and the map and units available will change, I predict most players will just end up abandoning the female generals and focus on levelling units that are 'immune' to the king (your sister and the generic female units seem to be safe). Why bother building up those main female generals, spending time and money on the brothels to stall the king, and lose them anyways because the king can't be stopped? It doesn't make any strategic sense to invest in units that can essentially be one-shot by an invulnerable 'enemy'. Strategy games that artifically limit strategies are bad design.

That's why I complain about it, regardless of how much a hard-on the devs have for NTR. I didn't mind at all about it in the first game, because it didn't interfere with the gameplay and actually complimented it.

Every thread, NTR/Vore/Guro/literally almost everything, there is somebody bitching about a way the game does not specifically cater to them. It's not even bad design; the design in the first game was so bad you had no incentive not to pool all your resources into one or two mega units. It was pitifully easy even on the hardest difficulty and braindead. The way you talk about it hints that it's not so much bad design, it's that you personally don't like it. Okay.

who can speak Japanese tell the creator , the king move on those girls is too fast give baby way more faster, way to fast that the rape/capture CG.
(put this on hardest mode i still ok with it)

At least make the speed slower or equal to the rape/capture CG its better.

lastly i think the king should go like this
1) go get girls ( he did right )
2) rape them hard ( right )
3) stay at village/ front line (hell wrong).

should be bring girls back to castle Bang some more

So, I assume no one's yet to mention how the demo explicitly mentions how the various h-aspects like the king have been sped up to be way faster than they will be in the actual game?

Because if he gets dissatisfied faster and goes through the harem stages faster, you can learn more about what the game will contain in a shorter amount of time? Because its a demo?

Because the king's supposed to be way greedier in the demo for these exact reasons. He'll be easier to handle in the actual game. And aside from that, he's piss-easy to handle even in the demo. Just focus on upgrading your Chalice and Jail buildings as high as you can as soon as possible. I think someone in this thread already mentioned this.

For me, the king always stopped moving around after reaching the third area because I maxed my Jails and Chalice buildings so quickly, I basically flooded him with concubines right off the bat. Even if I only upgrade the amount of gold he gets once, he just sits in that third location and doesn't do anything for the rest of the demo.

Not so much that he's easy to deal with as much as that he's barely even a factor if you just upgrade those buildings. And he'll be easier to deal with in the actual game, supposedly. If the game stays true to what it says about the demo, at least.

i was thinking that maybe you were able to fight back against the soldiers the king sends out, but that would mean fighting against the hand that feeds you, since it is OUR king after all. he is just corrupt.

so along that, i wonder if THEY can fight things that they run into.

By the way is there a trial for the test.

i was thinking that maybe you were able to fight back against the soldiers the king sends out, but that would mean fighting against the hand that feeds you, since it is OUR king after all. he is just corrupt.

so along that, i wonder if THEY can fight things that they run into.

i am not to sure about that but if he put that in game it might delay the release date, after all the Guard is totally new system than the King system
( I guess ) .

If I'm reading the blog post right, they are going to release an updated trial at the end of the month, so check the site around the 31st/1st.

The hell you talking about? Its an AMAZING mechanic. Makes the NTR SO much better when it actually affects the game. I thought you NTR ragers would like this mechanic, as it gives you incentive to devise means to avoid the NTR and makes it feel more satisfying should you manage to completely avoid it.

Thinking about it, isn't it kinda cruel to force this generic girls to be the King's sex slaves and bear his children? How does the MC even get them? Does he just round up the villagers and force them? I suppose there could be some women who want to do it since they might be able to leech off the king's wealth and their children could inherit the throne. Thinking about it that way, it might not be such a bad deal for the main girls as well. Who knows, they might even want it. I mean, they'll crave it eventually, as such is the nature of NTR, but maybe they were never against it to begin with.

Damn, nothing good about the update as far as I can understand. The stupid king can use his guards to trap your girls and there is a restraint period should they get caught. Along with some pictures of the enemy leaders?

In another paragraph it says the king wants sons, not harem members.

So if you build good palaces around the map and have enough faceless (and fertile) concubines for the king, he will not ask for your female generals.
