You need to talk to the little girl while wearing the original outfit. She'll only talk to princesses. Shes at the top left hand corner of the town.

thanks a bunch lol spent 30 mins going back and forth trial and error never thought i needed to talk to a girl with the princess outfit lol

What where? I can't seem to see it.

Nevermind I found it. The book starts to appear in inns after the chimera boss fight. I was in NG+ so I couldnt access it till I beat that again.

I might have found a cool glitch, in the town (the town/castle after you defeat the plant in the forest with the wizard girl) in the left side of the bar theres a barrel that gives you 3k gold, everytime you click it... it was useful to me hope it is useful to you guys too
