A Corruption of Champions style game, but it has graffix! There's like a little paper doll of your character in your inventory, and when you put on clothes they load up a graphic to show it and stuff, good times.

I -just- found it and haven't really gotten anywhere in it yet. The intro was pretty quality, at least. Can't say as to whether or not it's inundated with ridiculous furry OC-donut-steals or giant walls of the same smut over and over or any of the annoying things like those CoC's got.

Edit: New Link since the old one's dead :

"Same smut over and over"? I'm pretty sure that even though it's all written, CoC has the biggest variety of scenes in pretty much any pornographic game ever, just without actual graphics. Maybe it's just me, but I love CoC, and have put a ton of hours into it. It's a bit easy once you learn everything in it, but it's satisfying to play and explore, and I really can't see the repetitiveness you apparently find in it.

Either way, I'll probably check this game out. Thanks for linking it.

Re: Euphorian Tide

I'm not sure if this is the main theme or anything, but almost every sex scene I blunder into, it's all anal. Wolf raping you? Anal. Spider Queen laying eggs on you? Anal. Werewolf wanting to dump his seed on you? Oh, have this blowjob for your travels. Then have some more anal! Oh, and few lesbian tribbing scenes every now and then...and more anal!

Now I'm not opposed to the occasional anal play every now and then, but a man can only fap for so long without a wee bit of pussy-cumming, if you know what I mean.

Re: Euphorian Tide

Played for a half hour or so, I think the issue you're having is playing a receiving/submissive character, comradered. Played a male, dominated enemies, and found plenty of vaginal scenes both as events and as combat victories throughout. My guess is that at this early stage in the game's development, they focused on loss/submit anal because that works for all three gender types, saving them the trouble of writing different scenes for male, female, and herm until later when they have more to do in the game.

Re: Euphorian Tide

Oh... more dick girls, yay...

Re: Euphorian Tide

I don't see any sex scene in this game, only thing I see are all text describing every condition I been through.

Re: Euphorian Tide

I kind of lost interest when the first few things I encountered were a gay elf and some sort of wolf creature that was very polite about courting me in the middle of the damn woods...

Another game trying very hard to please everyone, failing to please anyone in the process.

Hey now, what's wrong with furries? :<

Speak for yourself instead of everyone else, I liked that wolf scene. :3

Lets not open that can of worms, suffice to say there is a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong list of things that are wrong with furries.

But there is simply no way this particular line of questions is going to lead anywhere positive, so lets leave it.

So you're saying there's a long list of things that are wrong with me, then?

I don't get why I'm hated for liking something that's harmless. ;-;

Re: Euphorian Tide

I would summarize it as "you're being hated for liking something commonly considered revolting" though I doubt anyone would hate you for it unless you explicitly bring it up yourself. For the closest comparison, consider it in the same vein as someone being sexually attracted to feces, live and let live, but nobody wants to listen to someone talk about his attraction to feces.

Re: Euphorian Tide

Wow, being kind of a dick there, aren't ya? You basically came in and went "These people, including you, are wrong, but let's not talk about it." You JUST talked about it. You're trying to make it seem like not arguing is the high road while STILL making an argument.

As for you Zai, people are free to NOT like furry sex too. People can be upset that the things are in the game if it's not to their liking, whether it's furry or something as tame as anal. If it's something they personally didn't wish was in it, they don't really have to say anymore than that.

Re: Euphorian Tide

It's not that I didn't want any dialogue on the issue, but this thread wasn't the place for it, the second post I made was only to clarify this issue as short as I could manage, as my first post seemed to have left the wrong impression.

Spoilers for disruptive I guess.
Nothing, on their own. But in the context of Corruption of Champions, it's weird that, after going through a portal to the netherworld, you're confronted only occasionally by demonic things - an imp, that one piercing-bitch in the mountains, a factory with like only one-off encounters - and instead run around finding mostly just furries. The set up to the whole game is explicitly 'yeah, we're sacrificing you to deemins because otherwise they'll come eat the whole village instead of just you', but then when you get there, they're scarce as fuck.

And then there's that instead of barren lava wasteland shit or other such 'Netherworld'-esque type scenery, you get... forests! A lake! A forestier forest! Some plains! Basically regular ol' fantasy terrain and settings and stuff.

It's a weeeird, disjunctive feeling, I guess. Like if Cawadoody Blops had had you shooting orcs and fairies or someshit, of if a game set in a scifi space-travel setting had you primarily wielding swords and picka . Without addressing deliberately and explicitly explaining it, it just feels lazy, and while it could be interesting, and I know there's some weak justifications scattered around in the story... but really, it just feels like they're just there because Fenoxo was like YOU'LL GIVE ME HOW MUCH TO PUT WHAT IN? ALRIGHT MOTHERFUCKER, LET'S DO THIS. Alternatively, just re-brand the place, or something.

Not unless there's some subtle joke going on about yiffing in hell or something, I dunno.

ANYWAY

After a bit more dicking around with it, it does seem a little derpy. Some wolf guy in the forest being all 'HEY WANNA BE MY SUB' and being all broody and conceding when I told him to eat shit, an angry drunk punching dudes out left and right, a guy that hangs out in inns telling me about his save statues and his omniscient bird-ambulances. Also a bit bare on content, but then, that's not surprising, given the thing's earliness.

Re: Euphorian Tide

Basically, the question remains: What does this do that CoC doesn't?

It is a different game with different content!

I do not choose to only play a single game of a given type, I am happy to play many rpg games for instance.

But, it is a less mature game than CoC, but a lot nicer UI, less transformations so far, but the game is not primarily about transforming your character

Re: Euphorian Tide

I meant, as an H game, how does it differ. That was the discussion at hand?

*edit* although that does enter a new question. If this games quests are easier to track, it seems like it's more directionally focused? If it actually has an simpler game direction, might this one actually start moving forward in development?

Re: Euphorian Tide

Just started the game and one of the things the game ask is if my female character wants to be consider a male or female.... That is awesome. It's kinda a hidden fetish of mine to have female characters identify with male gender.
