ACT Active Ryona Guro [Eluku] Wolf's Dungeon

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

I've been very discouraged by these past couple of updates.. on the verge of just asking someone to PM me when the monsters (up to pee drinker) have been added to the game.

at the very least now player(s) have a free hand with the new control

Why would we need a freehand?
If we need freehand, just give us a replay mode.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

It might be easier if he took pages out of Demonophobia and just not have a lot of combat. Adding random traps and enemies you need to sneak past etc.

That seems to fit better. Make it survival horror-y, so fleeing or having to use some kind of trap (while avoiding them yourself) to defeat the monsters would be a more common strategy. Makes the player feel more claustrophobic and weak, as well.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

I haven't played the new version, but the suckballs in the old version were really freaking hard to hit some times. I hope he fixes that.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

The "new" game will feature this:
By killing enemies you get experience up to 300 points. Then find a bed, sleep and you get level increase if enough XP collected (in 300 xp tranches). You get a bonus on max HP and stamina, then you can get passive or active skills -> attacks.

Sleeping on a new found bed will trigger a minigame of a dropping ball you can use to get bonuses (silly, but... whatever).

You will have an inventory for items O_O. As some masturbation moves or situations require toys.

While naked you can't perform special attacks. It work like the armor of Ghouls and Ghosts (you loose the dress when "raped", you find dress pieces along the stages).

The engine Eluku it's using now is Clickteam Fusion2.5, a kinda GameMaker engine, that really turn easy to do platformers (at least, easier than usual).
That's all the info I got (and understand) form the blog and discussions on FC2 forum threads.

Whatever you've seen since now was only for test pourpose. Really!

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

Ok I'm confused, where's the game? The only thing I download from his site is a small version where she is in a room but no way out and I also can't punch or do anything other than walk, jump, crouch, and open inventory. What am I missing???

It's in...development.

Read the last line in the post directly above yours.

Then the rest so you know what to expect for what it's going to be.

You can also go back a few weeks in the blog to find an older version which does have a couple monsters and such.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

Well... He updated his blog today. Can't understand a damn thing with google's update oO

Is there any important to know?

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

Yea....not even sure why they bother with a Japanese translation of google. Guess it could be okay with single words but you could randomly pick 20 words in a dictionary and it would make just about as much sense as what you'd get from translating a sentence from Japanese. >.<

Its some kind of explain of the gameover types.
Normal Gameover: HP =0
Grap Gameover: Was grap by enemy for too long or by attacks with no shake off.
Birth Gameover: Birthing monsters.
Guro Gameover: Had organs been cut off or pulled out.

Similar to the Bing translation.

Liking the first two. Mortified by the third.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

I wish he'd just make more Fallen Fairy enemies.

... I also wish the later animations added to Fallen Fairy weren't marred by such shitty quality workmanship.

Eh if the quality was actually going down (Been a while since I played, so I don't remember.), it just means he was smart to stop Fairy Fighting when he did. He was probably getting tired of working on it. Better than those animes/shows that go on for years and years after they've lost their spark until they're nothing like what they started off like. Eluku was pretty boss to keep at it as long as he did so consistently.

I'm still pretty nervous about playing this, one: I want more content before I try it, if I start downloading every patch I'll get bored of it before the game is even in "beta" stages. Two: Guro :p Doesn't help that someone just mentioned the translations stating there are game overs by having your organs removed...

I mean yeah, I respect Eluku tremendously for making what is easily the largest and most expansive h-game I know of (at least, with large, high quality sprite h). I'm just saying that the Fallen Fairy sprites are a good example of how his animations got sloppier as time went on, because Fallen Fairy is the one enemy that has both older animations and newer ones.

Criticism is itself negative, but its end result is intended to be positive. To criticize is to imply that you respect or care about something/someone enough to invest effort in assisting its growth and improvement (by providing an outside perspective).

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

New update.

Intro added
Set controls are not carried between updates.

An elaborate way of saying there are several flavors of insta-gameover I suppose, I wonder if the Guro will be stricly traps, or also enemy attacks.

Speaking of guro, I suppose those who saw eluku's non-game art probably know what to expect. Atleast it isn't unfimiliar territory.

Re: Wolf's Dungeon

Really wish birthing wouldn't game over.

Same here, So much can be done with birthing or egglaying too.
Like you get impregnated/egged or unbirth something (like the ana moguri in FF) and you have to carry it to a certain place and birth it there.. like an escort.
