After you've bought the skill you can upgrade it with skill points like all other skills.
You can purchase the lockpicking skill from a girl in the bar for 300 magic chips. She's not always available though. She disappeared after I killed the orcs, I think. She may return later in the game.

This game is just amazing.Its one of the best rpg maker games i ever played.
Its pretty easy from start.U just put points to strenght / def and ur the king for some time. Also as someone else said,buy key from that girl in inn and max it out once u have some spare points.
You can find many secret looking paths/items and they are easily noticeable.Once u see weird corner thats looking suspicious,go there and search it.U usually get green stuff for +10 learning points,or u can find hidden areas where are items or hardcore monsters. Like in the cave with slimes.
Also,when ur rushing through floors,it can occasionally teleport u to interesting areas where u can find nice items,or u need to beat strong monsters.In one area,i beat hard monster and behind it was pretty powerful sword.
Aaand dont forget about quests.Most quests can be done just by doing floors and killing red circle monsters.Also,once u take one quest,u can talk to that lady npc and then u can go to slime cave and so on.
I really like this game,you dont need to grind or anything and there is ton of secret places.Too bad there isnt lot of h content i guess,but this one is for gameplay.Wish this game was translated.
One more thing .. in forest,there is one just obviously looking secret spot in the top left corner.Once u go there,jump across river and search behind tree.U can find there very nice weapon.Not sure if u need lockpicking on it ,though.

I didnt finish it yet,but encountered few scenes so far.There is probably more scenes,but i dont play with translator,so ...
And scenes i encountered so far(didnt really try to get h scenes):
1)Some bosses after losing.
2)Once u beat blondie,u can choose second option for h scene.
3)Losing a fight in a bandit cave results in h scene.
3+)After losing in cave,there will be new object on map.Go there for two h scenes.I reloaded after this,so there might be more scenes.
4)Teleport to town while naked / destroyed clothes for h scene.
5)After killing boss at floor 7,go to gem shop,choose first or second option for same h scene..
Thats all i can remember.
oh,and if someone is wondering,u can buy hp potions + 1500 once u beat red hair.
(btw,defeated dragon at lvl 47: p )

Finished the game.It seems that there are two endings.No idea how to get other ending.
Also,i didnt manage to get to volcano.If anybody figures it out,pm me please : )
Aaand here is a save for lazy people who dont want to enjoy battle experience.Its save right from start of a game(you can choose to play again after finishing the game),but with full equipment and hell lot of items.Also,last item in inventory will kill you(for cg hunters).
It was pretty nice game,too bad its not in english.

A lurker post! Epic! Okay, I figured out a few things about the game and I'm including a 100% CG save for you lazy people. I was going to include all the endings but it turns out the True End and the Volcano levels have not been implemented yet. The current plan is for the true end and the volcano area to be added in a month.
Plans below translated by Bing for those who can't read Japanese:

As for the game, holy random content. The keys to the true end haven't been entirely unlocked or I'm just missing something. You need to collect 5 different colored jewels (宝玉）and do something with them. My theory is either they activate at the grave/monument in the town or in crystal hall in the sewer area. You can currently collect 3 of the jewels to my knowledge, 2 in the dungeon and one from the item shop just before the final dungeon. Below are the two locations in the dungeons. Note, coming across these fields is completely random and you have to fight a boss to earn the jewels. The Dragon is very powerful and I recommend LVL 50 or above with good equipment and lots of health/SP items on hand.
I can't insert pics so you'll have to see the attachments for the exact locations.
I personally can't wait for the rest of the game. I am a little sad that it wasn't included. I spent quite a few runs trying to find other two Jewels but no go. Hope this helps and counts as a decent first post.
One thing I haven't unlocked is the bad end as it says you need to fail the final test 3 times (the Gate Keeper boss in area 7) but I was unable to trigger anything after dying to him 5 times... Maybe the updated version of the game will allow the Bad End to be unlocked.
The save starts at the End Game area so you have a choice as to whether or not you want the levels and skills I have by talking to the people in the corner area before stepping into the magic circle. There are three people who take away things, a mushroom below the couch who takes away your magic fragments, the red haired angel who takes away your Levels and Skill Levels, and the Succubus seems to take away any item increased stats. They don't work very well as the Mushroom is supposed to talk away your money as well but no go on my end. Cheers.

紫の宝玉）：
The Purple Jewel Boss is fairly easy and I was able to beat her on my first, non-Cheat Engine run at around level 25 with a few HP/SP items and decent equipment.
Blue Jewel青の宝玉）：
The Dragon is much harder than the Purple Jewel boss. I suggest around level 50 with decent items and a lot of potions if you aren't using Cheat Engine. It took me a few tries at various lower levels before I beat him. I somehow unlocked his area in the first 10 dungeon levels but I was way too weak to take him on at first. Careful play makes for an easy Blue Jewel.
Yellow Jewel黄の宝玉）：
Not hard, as I said earlier you get this jewel from the Item Shop (Green Haired NPC). You can only obtain this jewel after you beat the Gate Keeper in the 7th area and the day of the final dungeon comes about. Go to the Item Shop and it will be just to the side of the green haired NPC. You'll need an Elixer in order to trade for the Yellow Jewel. Elixers can be made at Yume's (White Cat Girl) Shop.
