got the 5 tower special tickets and got nothing past an HR. i did finally get the pregnant fencer that i missed out on since i had not started playing at that point yet.

spent 11 tickets and got crap. nothing past HR again.

spent 10 gold medals any my first SR was rebecca. that makes 4 of her. 1 more and she MIGHT be worth putting in my taimanin def deck.

I just got my UR, but her skill is demon defense down 1000, is that a very useless skill compare to % defense down?

yes asagi is limited.

and yes, the 1000 demon defense down is not as good as the % down effects. even 25% down gives way more difference.

YES! I finally got the LR New Year Asagi! I'm a very very happy man, along with UR Alice and SR Fairy Knights. Wasted a lot of tickets but it was worth it. Probably won't get the UR Sakura but I'm happy.

So since I managed to pull the event LR, I'm seriously thinking maybe I should look into making the strongest Taimanin deck I can with my cards (my main deck is Demon). I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions based on the cards I have? I'm kind of hoping that I can make it out of Rank 6 arena because Taimanin cards have stronger defensive stats. ><

Anyways these are the cards I have.

Well, I spent all my remaining tickets, including 40+ HR and 7 SRs. Taking the previous batch into account, I've spent over 120 tickets on this event alone.

Still no Asagi.

I was tempted to splurge on the daily 20-draw, but decided not to. I still have about two fifths of the tower left to climb (just waiting for another exp bonus), so that's 2 more tickets and then the three from arena left unless I get reamed at the last second again. Maybe one more from login bonus if I'm lucky. That's about the sum of my hopes for now. On the other hand, if I still don't get her then, I'll have an excuse to ragequit and stop playing.

About a third of my friends list have switched to Shougatsu Asagi as their leader. I'm seriously tempted to leave a rude message in their comment box and unfriend them right now.

My haul was otherwise pretty unremarkable. 3 Misheas (yes, seriously) 1 A-66 Runa, 1 Rinko, 1 Ingrid, 4 Fairy Knights, 1 UR US Yukikaze and a bunch of trashy Rs and HRs.

Your Taimanin team should be self-evident, really. Kind of weird that you don't have a Midori though, given that she's a better choice than most HR defensive Taimanin cards other than Nea.

Which card is Midori? If she was limited, I probably wouldn't have her because I never focused on getting Taimanin limited cards. If she is an R card, I probably dumped her because at one point in time I had something like 40 unique R's wasting a bunch of space that I had no intention of using. The only ones I keep anymore are the quest bosses. If she is neither, then she should be there somewhere, I have all the regular HR cards.

I guess I should point out that one of the Rinko's is lvl 5 and one of the Rebecca Silky's is also lvl 5 (not that it matters much because her skill is trash).

Leader : Shougatsu Asagi
Attack: lvl 5 Rinko, lvl 1 Murasaki, lvl 1 Hoshino Mizuki, lvl 1 Rinko
Defense: lvl 1 Sakura, lvl 5 Rebecca Silky, lvl 2 Rebecca Silky, lvl 5 Kagami Hirotaka

Obviously I have the Soga Kouha Card and other LR Asagi to work with, but I like my deck to scale a bit harder than just base stats, so I opted to replace them with Rinkos. Not sure this is a good idea, though.

Anyways, this deck feels a lot weaker than my current Demon deck (very likely) and it seems I have to use more BP to kill off Raid Bosses which is why I was asking for suggestions.

She's a solid choice for those lacking in Taimanin defense, but if you've already maxed a Rebecca, you should consider her obsolete.

IMO, LR Asagi is a better option. Here's the math:

With LR Asagi:

• No proc: 38097 attack
• Asagi only proc: 47621 attack
• Asagi with MAX Rinko proc: 69496 attack

With skill Lv 1 Rinko:

• No proc: 37403 attack
• Skill Lv 1 Rinko only proc: 49903 attack
• Skill Lv 1 Rinko with MAX Rinko proc: 67403 attack

On top of that, Asagi will provide the defensive stats of an SR against raid bosses.

On the other hand, if you factor in a Taimanin helper, the numbers will swing in Rinko's favour unless said helper happens to be another Shougetsu Asagi.

By the way, you might want to consider using MAX Rinko as your leader, since she'll give you a guaranteed attack buff worth between 17500 (without helper) to 21000 (with any Taimanin helper). On the other hand, Shougetsu Asagi's buff against raid bosses is only worth between ~16000 (without helper) to ~20218 (with Shougetsu Asagi helper) assuming you use LR Asagi in your team instead of Rinko.

It's definitely stronger than it was. Defense-wise may actually be a bit less than my Demon deck. Most of the time I'm only seeing 78k-100k for health against raid bosses. Still able to take down any lvl 50 Furst's with 2 BP, although if I get lucky on my Demon deck with a Demon ally, they go down with 1 BP. Well, I guess that's to be expected this game threw ridiculous Demon card drops on me for 5 months and now is randomly giving me Taimanins.

Maybe I will focus my efforts on optimizing this deck for dueling and use it exclusively in the arena. Everyone seems to be running Taimanin cards there and it would be nice to not get 10% debuffed for using Demon cards.
