Re: Lilitales -リリテイルズ-

In case anyone have issues collecting Cless` 専守の杖 for Ex Dungeon 5F (the one with no map). You will need the floating accessory, フェザーアンクル to get it (brought from the docks after you have 狩人の証)

Starting from the stairs to 6F and walking backward:
  1. Go forward 5 spaces (until) you face a wall
  2. Turn Right, advance 3 spaces
  3. Turn Right, advance 7 spaces
  4. Turn Left, advance 4 spaces
  5. Turn left, advance 7 (do not enter door). Go around the teleport as required.
  6. Turn Right, advance 3 spaces
  7. Turn Right, advance 4 spaces
  8. Turn Left at the fork, advance 2 spaces
  9. Turn right, advance 1 space
  10. Turn left, advance 2 spaces
  11. Turn left at the fork, advance 3 spaces
  12. Turn left, equip floating accessory to get past the water, advance 2 spaces
  13. Profit! (there is no chest for this, you just discover it lying on the ground)

Hmm, what do I need to trigger the teleport in the Airi Room on F6? Already cleared Cless` room.

Taking off the levitation item might help; there is absolutely no difference in the functionality of the teleporters in either of the rooms.

GAAAH  That did the trick. Thanks :)

What is so special about Airi`s last weapon? I read that you should equip it with the floating stone.

If you're using the same site I'm using, then you'll know about the map that shows HOW you got the last weapon in the first place.

As for the weapon itself, players who've tested it claim it gives a bonus to the drain kiss attack and other special offensive skills depending on how low Airi's health is. I don't use Airi much, so I can't confirm the claims.

Which site do you use? akunaki2 is the main one I go to. The rest depends on Google :p

And good grief, that ペンタグラム from EX Dungeon 8th floor upgrades Luna from the Strike to Freedom... 1K damage on all mobs with レイ・ペンタグマ (1st Attack magic) at lv24/max matk equip.

Does Cless has any special equipment combo like Luna and Airi?

If you were reading to walk you through the EX dungeon:

You would have read this 西の水路先の宝箱 written after Airi's final weapon. Since characters can't walk on water...

Cless's weapons either improve her ability to use spells or her melee prowess at the expense of speed and healing ability. Her final weapon fits the latter category after the appropriate buff is used.

Re: Lilitales -リリテイルズ-

The Yakuto ended up not working again when I loaded my file. My running theory is that it doesn't work if you load the game with it equipped (I also had a feeling this might have been the cause in my first run), but I haven't been able to test it.
My issue with the Yakuto was that it would only work with certain spells. For example, on Luna it would reduce the mana cost of Rapid Pike (cost of 2), but not for her Thunderbolt (cost of 4).

Sometimes it would not work at all, but re-equipping it would give the issue I described above.
Works fine for me, tested in the Colosseum against the shield warrior.

Used Ray at first, worked fine in conjunction with quickcast.
Ditto with rapid pike (2 mana).
And again with Thunderbolt (3 mana).
I've tested it rather extensively, and I've come to the following conclusion about ヤークート ("Yakuto" in the translations):
-> With Yakuto equipped, whatever skill that's in Quickslot 1 by/before/at the start of combat has its MP cost reduced by 1 for the duration of the battle.

TL;DR: ^just read the above sentence^

In elaboration:
- Yakuto's effect is activated and given Only at the start of each battle
- changing the skill in Slot 1 mid-battle will not allow Yakuto to transfer its effect to the new skill in Slot 1; it will remain on the old skill

Example 1:
1. Yakuto is equipped
2. skill in Slot 1 is currently Ray Pentagram
3. Upon entering battle, Ray Pentagram will cost 0 MP (1 by default) whenever it's cast for the remainder of the battle
4. Casting Rapid Pike will cost 3 MP (3 by default).
5. Casting Thunderbolt will cost 4 MP (4 by default).
6. On Turn X, you decide to put Rapid Pike in Slot 1. Using Rapid Pike will still cost 3 MP (3 by default). Using Ray Pentagram will still cost 0 MP (1 by default).
7. Battle Ends
8. Upon enter the next battle, with Rapid Pike still in slot 1, Rapid Pike will now cost 2 MP (3 by default), because it is now affected by Yakuto.
9. Ray Pentagram will revert back to its 1 MP cost.
etc.

Example 2:
1. Yakuto is equipped
2. skill in Slot 1 is currently Rapid Pike
3. Upon entering battle, Rapid Pike will cost 2 MP (3 by default) whenever it's cast for the remainder of the battle
4. Casting Ray Pentagram will cost 1 MP (1 by default).
5. Casting Thunderbolt will cost 4 MP (4 by default).
6. On Turn X, you decide to put Thunderbolt in Slot 1. Using Rapid Pike will still cost 2 MP (3 by default). Using Thunderbolt will still cost 3 MP (4 by default).
7. Battle Ends
8. Upon enter the next battle, with Thunderbolt still in slot 1, Thunderbolt will now cost 3 MP (4 by default), because it is now affected by Yakuto.
9. Rapid Pike will revert back to its 3 MP cost.
etc.

The item description in the translation will be amended to accurately reflect this as in my upcoming translation (it was tricky to fit it in the 46-ish character limit of the in-combat equipment change's description box, but I managed). The translation will be here Saturday.

Also, for anybody that cared (because I did >.<), the 妖精の気まぐれ item ("Moody Fairy" in T4ke's translations) only occasionally regenerates/restores +1 MP (as opposed to regenerating +1 MP every turn, a small error in the translation description; also fixed).

Can you guys point me to a working link? Pretty please. I tried the posted ones, but the only download I could get was part 1 from RG.

I noticed that pre-casting ignores Yakuto.

Luna is currently equipped the following:
Ghost Spear
Yakuto
Wirzad Ring
Pentagram
Ray Pentagram @ Slot 1.

This is on NG+

Apart from the 1MP Ray skill, all other skills costing 2MP or more do work with the item. It doesn't matter anyway since the quickcast counts as a round in itself meaning the 1MP is regained at the start of the battle proper.

Re: Lilitales -リリテイルズ-

Luna's MP goes down after each cast.

I played on the Japanese version on 1st play thru, and then started the new game+ after applying the English patch.

And since Luna is 1-shotting the mobs before it goes to round 1, she does not get the regen.

Put on the ファラハヤムシー and walk around, problem solved. Since you kill off the small fry before the battle actually starts, you only need to switch out equipment just before the boss.

That's his problem. Some players finished the game ages ago before suggestions for an English interface were mooted.

In case you missed my answer regarding Airi's final weapon, look back to post #326.

I got it, thanks :) I was just looking into it because of the low stats and the ??? description. Like you, I also prefer Cless... I was just trying to satisfy my curiosity.

Ouch. >.<

Was just addressing the Yakuto bug report from a few pages back because it wasn't given a satisfactory answer. As it's one of the most important items in the game, I believed the information could have been particularly helpful for those searching the thread.

But yeah, I'm done with Yakuto; thanks for the additional data. With this last post, I won't clog up the thread any more with fragmented replies that could otherwise be exchanged in a private conversation; warui na. :p

Everything in the prologue is done; I hope to have translated everything up until the end of Malbara Desert by the end of the week. It's mostly just H scenes (the Goblin Den scene and the Sandworm scene, Slaver GOR scene if I have time), and some spare bits of text. I don't think many share my optimism for the progress I'm making, but it does take quite a bit of time making accurate - yet not awkwardly literal - translations.

This translation is my little way of thanking the author for the wonderful game. Even if my translations won't be of much use in the end, I'll feel better about myself by giving back what little I can to the entertainment industry. It's sincerely a sentimental gesture, not so much a practical one.

Re: Lilitales -リリテイルズ-

I for one am happily waiting for the translation before I even touch this.

Sure, you can play games with text grabbers and translation programs, but it still adds an extra layer of effort that often ends up detracting from the experience. It's much easier to enjoy a good game when you don't have to fight to understand it.
