I obviously am missing something in order to get the costumes, I have the nun, maid, thunder, ninja costumes, but I still have trouble understanding how to get all the others, for example - to get Miko costumes it's been said to save the ninja clan after the masked dude attack, not sure if I even met someone from a ninja clan or something..
Would be very grateful if someone would write a thorough explanation on costumes :3
【侍】サムライコス
入手法：隠れ里へ行き、座頭のシチと話す→時宗と話す→奥の洞窟へ→最奥でオークを撃破し戻って時宗と話すと入手。
Samurai Costume
1. At the travel board, you need to head to 隠れ里. It is listed on the second page.
2. You need to get past the guards either by flashing them or having a 印籠 in your inventory. I believe you get it from killing the boss at the end of the forest.
3. Once in, you talk to the closed-eye guy 座頭のシチ on the bottom right mat. Go through the options (specifically the second to last one maybe?)
4. Then you talk to armed guy 時宗 at the top. Pick the first option.
5. The guards should now allow you to pass into the cave at top-right. Kill the boss at the end.
6. Talk to 時宗 again once out, and he should give you the costume.
【奴】スレイブコス
入手法：ストーリーが始まってすぐ辺境分岐点からけもの道を通り森へ→よろずやと話して終了すると情報が聞けるので山の権利書と交換で入手。
城下町で缶詰王（ギルド下あたり※隠し要素参照）のイベントクリアでも入手可能
Slave Costume
1. At the beginning of the game, before you can head into the forest from the travel board, at the intersection, there is a movable block hidden by a tree to the right of the guard guarding the northern route. Pull it out of the way and you'll find a shortcut to the forest entrance a little further in.
2. Talk to the witch selling things, and regardless of whether you bought anything, she'll offer to trade your 山の権利書 for the slave costume (the only other use it is to trade it for your horse party member, which you can also buy for 10000 gold)
Alternate method is around after you cleared the forest (or maybe as early after you cleared the fort?), there will be a bum wandering the major street, directly below the questing guild. Give him a ニシンの缶詰, 20000 gold, and a 高級紳士服 bought from the armor store in the same town, and he'll give you the slave costume. Definitely the pricier option.
【裸】バカには見えない鎧
入手法：ある程度ストーリーが進んだ後城下町東の裏路地にいるおじいさんから伝説の鎧の話を聞く→ケバブーバーガー（南部の砂漠で購入）→マンガ骨→味噌汁（隠れ里で購入）→じゃがバター（ドルトーの道具屋と話すと入手）を渡すと入手
Emperor's New Clothes
After you cleared the ruins and the first part of the resistance dungeon (trekking through the tunnel and beating the boss at the end before the castle), there will be an old man in the shadows at the eastern area of castle town (a separate map from the main map). You will need to give him ケバブーバーガー (bought at the desert village), マンガ骨 (dunno, picked up somewhere in the dungeons?), 味噌汁 (bought in hidden village), じゃがバター (gotten from the lady manning the item store at the village, but only after you've asked the old man about where to get it)
【冥】メイドコス
入手法：城下町の酒場でバーテンから依頼を受ける→城下町左下にいる靴の色が違う兵士と話す→戻ってバーテンと話すと入手。
Check the quest icon at the bar in castle town, deliver the item he gives you to the western guard with the different colored shoes, return to the quest giver.
Sage Costume: Complete most of the quests in the castle town guild.
Sister Costume: Pay 500 gold to the bunny girl at the bottom right of castle town.
Ninja Costume: Very very early in the game, before you clear the fort, when you enter the village, instead of going straight up, take the path below the quest guild to the right and up and there will be a blue chest out in the open.
Cyber Costume: Beat the game and dive a second time.
That's about it. Harder to be more specific because I can't post links to screenshots yet of where I get the info.
