Did the new demo change anything about the gameplay? I still haven't gotten to the boss.
According to the Blog, some of the falling debris have been removed, the fast zombie's attack animation has been changed to be less instantaneous I guess and I'm not too sure what else.

The game is going to be released soon if the creator's comments on the blog are any indication, but no date has been set for the time being other than mentioning that they're 90% done with the game.

hmm...not sure why...but I've got a bad feeling that this game is going to be suuuuuuper short with very few animations...

You're probably not used to seeing games released in short notice, huh.
actually, if you check old posts, you'll find the game has been in development for quite some time. the oldest blog post I can find is of the sprint animation, about a year ago

There are 14 monsters here


but that includes the two flower things that don't have animations in the demo. So who knows if the full release will have animations for both of them.
So, assuming each monster has one animation and a game over CG and this is the full list, 28 graphics. Not too bad. Nothing to sneer at, but two animations per enemy would be even better.

I hope that the mystery cube is obscuring a cube-shaped enemy.

its also worth noting that there's an enemy that Sourjelly showed in their blog comments that isn't in that list, while, they also said the enemy wouldn't be there on release, it suggests that there may be others not on that list.

How odd, I get a slowdown at the beginning of demo that persists all the way until the generator room. After that the game speeds right back up an gets smooth again. Kinda fucked with me actually since everything was way faster then I was used to lol.

well yeah, that's what I meant when I said "Assuming...this is the full list". Oh, and also one could assume that that list is just standard enemies. I don't believe I see a shadow of the demo boss one there, so there are the animations for the bosses to take into account, as well.

Go back into the room near the activated generator and head to the right, you'll be able to head into the next room.

how do i use cheat engine on this?..
pm me if this was too fast (if you didnt use cheat engine at all yet, you will need a more detailed instruction ^^)

I don't understand that answer. health is 100. set cheat engine to "double" and scan a value of 100. get hit, scan again. you should see the correct value. for stamina it's the same thing.

She has a full double HP value of 100 initially, search for decreasing values when you lose health until you narrow it down to the correct one.

Stamina also has a full value of 100.
Taken from page 3 in case my explanation wasn't good. But if not for this post, I never would have had infinite health.

Pretty good so far, only annoying part is the save point isn't for a loooooong time once you get down to the generator area. Mess up anytime down there and you're sent back like 15+ minutes.

i tried that but i had nothing to select when i used the base scan 100
therefore i tried around and found out that the players health starts with the number 1079574528

when the engine doesnt work for the displayed health in the health bar i start with unknown value and scan for decrased value everytime i lose health / increase for gaining health and so on until there are only a few lines left
one of them is the health



so for brookebi

- you start the game you want
- start cheat engine
- click the computer icon in the upper left corner of the cheat engine
-> search the game in the list and double click
- start the first level and punsh this hanging zombie to death before it hits you (or be fast enough with the next step)
- insert 1079574528 in the empty box (below "value", next to "hex")
- press first scan (right above the box)
- get hit by a zombie
- click the box "exact value", it opens a few options and select "decreased value"
- click "next scan" (right from the "new scan" button)
- there is a big box with many lines, on the left side, double click the first one
-> the line is copied into the empty box below
at last: click the box on the left side of the copied line

done



sadly this is one of the games which cant save the settings, so be carefull!
after closing the game you need to redo this all

edit: i know why it didnt work for some of you, my description works for version 0.8.0.3. only (probably because they changed stuff about health)
