Yes I found it:

Go to C:/User/Your Name/Saved Games/Little Witch/Romanesque/Userdata

There you will find the config file which you can open with notepad.
Try to play with the numbers at the bottom of the file for Screen Mode / Full Mode.

thanks that worked. now it let me get to the menus and it seems the only full screen that didn't crash it was virtual.

It is possible, but very hard. You must play through this game once and than you will take over the spells you learned before. (Only for the training, so you must learn them again for the quests.) This will make the resource gathering really easy.
Some important spells are:
Ignis: to create a die with 6 diffrent sides (every other create one die is worthless.)
Tempora Ignis: +5 to spirits for every die for this day.

Each learning session has six days. This is my normal week:
1-3 days Ignis
4&5 days Tempora Ignis
6 day some powerfull spell that targets every die on the field. E.g. the firework spell.

This will get you full spirits in the beginning.

Later you get some better spells. Like the one that spawns 3 dices.

I've got every spell in the game, I can get 5k on all spirits with out having to do much. The problem lies on the quests @ week 100+. Too many of them expiring at the same time. I have yet to even get the Elf ending, she just goes away, even when I rush all her quests. My best ATM is going up to week 118 doing all quests.

Marret's ending takes a couple strange actions to get.
You have to have her teach the girls, at least 4 times note she does have a couple addition teaching scenes after this but I'm pretty sure 4 is what you need to unlock another quest. Then the girls need to fail their second year exam. -Credit goes to Kynbound from fuwanovel forums for this tip.

On walkthrus I wasn't able to find much but shortly after starting I began documenting the quests. I've only finished my second playthrough and got about 4 endings so it will take some time.

I have noticed the game is somewhat random events change quite a bit and this can lead to recieving quests at different times, but they seem to have a set due date. (2-3 quests differed on date due on my second playthru but I think I miscalculated on the first playthru.) Biggest difference I saw between my first and second was when I got Sepha as an instructor I got her early in my first but in the second she didn't start teaching until almost turn 140.

What I have for my quest listing is posted on google docs, I'll be updating it soon with a bit more from finishing my second playthru.

Edit: Guess you'll have to PM for the link if you want to check it out for now don't meet the link post requirement yet.

One final bit: Judging on Merret's quest line its possible other instructors and classrooms may have extra scenes, but I haven't run into any yet.

Man... That seems very annoying. I don't mind redoing stuff, but the whole process of getting spirits, even when I can do it fast, and learning the spells again, is a huge chore. I can't see myself redoing that same pattern 10 times+

Well much like other Visual Novels you can save a bit of time making creative use of your saves, my second playthrough I hit three different endings somewhat easily though to get Aria's romance I had to drop Kaya's spellcasting almost entirely. Save before endings then reload and just pass up that star and you can continue on depending on how far you are you might be able to hit a second route and can usually pick up enough diploma's for one of those endings.

On diploma's the games manual (just came in the mail today) says you need at least three of a icon to receive the ending guess I lucked out on play through 2 I thought it was just whichever had the most.

One more trick I might try is pushing near turn 100+ around where your hitting every quest still and making a save to start a run to each ending, This may have the disadvantage if your going for 100% do to the randomness of the common events. On play through 3 I am still receiving quite a few random events I haven't seen though I am skipping considerably more than the last play through.

Anyone know if there is an editor or trainer for this game?
The game is very Cheat Engine friendly. You can edit numbers straight without any of the weird *2+1 kinda stuff than many JP games require. Personally I just froze the days so they wouldn't advance and then was able to take infinite actions on any turn I wanted.

I just got plowed on the first test, but I think it may have been storyline reasons due to evil testers.

How do you get one girls' spell to cast before the other? As in, I want Kaya's spell to cast before Aria's in the dice game?

I do not believe there is a way after thowing 9999 of those dice.

Also, I just wanted to say this game is great. It's cute, has excellent production values, and I laughed quite a bit at the honestly funny moments.

The 1 whos dice stop moving 1st cast the spell 1st

Here is the best combination I have found for maxing out spirit after having all the best spells available in case anyone is interested.

Needs 2 moon symbols on dice. First 3 days can be quick cast without reducing the value much.

Day 1: Aria = Celero Kaya = Revivificare
Day 2: Aria = Celero Kaya = Revivificare
Day 3: Aria = Imitor Ars Kaya = Revivificare

Day 4: Aria = Imitor Ars Kaya = Bolidis
Day 5: Aria = Remano Horaef Kaya = Invisibilis (Note: very important that you cast Invisibilis before Remano Horaef)
Day 6: Same as Day 5.

I have to say, this was a very fun game. Unlike others, though, I found the perving on students to be more disappointing than a draw. >.>

Still, some very nice storytelling - the student endings in particular were worth working for.

I was wondering about how to get the Merritt ending though - thanks for the tip, fallendrgmaster. I'm at 95% completion at the moment, and probably won't bother going for any more.

You have to have her teach a bunch of times in the final year she's there, and have higher affection than anyone else (mostly the main girls).

I played through this a few times, it makes me laugh, so I like it, though the third world famine survivor bodies are cringe inducing. every time I played through and someone got on the redhead's case for stealing snacks at night I always felt bad for her.

its like "leave her alone, she is clearly recovering from starvation conditions and the late night sweets are a coping mechanism!"

I have gotten several endings, but ironically I think my favorite one was probably intended to be a bad one, or at least, bot a very good one. I think...and don't quote me on this, you get it if you don't get many licensees but have both girls at the mas affection they can be at without completing their route.

Doing this triggers an ending where they pass their completion test...then immediately start failing all tests after that intentionally, resulting in them getting placed back in the tower, and then they thereafter continue to deliberately flunk their follow ups in order to stay apprentices under the tower master forever.

Damn I didn't see that one. I got all the main endings, and the ending for getting every single diploma but no "official" ending. For that you see them as adults teaching a new generation at the tower, wistfully talking about Maestro.

I kind of want to reinstall and get a full save to see the odd endings I missed. : /
