Ah okay I was stuck on phalanx 2 since I had no CCed witches and they were only around level 30, thanks for the heads up

Edit: are there any situations that use bandits? I have 2 of the bandit boss mortimer, or can I just eat them

Bandits are typically used if you do not have access to princess as they have the highest attack of any unit and very high HP. The high attack comes at a price of course, that being a slower attack speed compered to other units. If you need a tanky duelist they can get the job done. So depends on what ya have.

I stand corrected. Apparently the devs can introduce challenges which require specific units to beat.

How would one rank the plat archers? Is Bashira redundant with a Nanaly for example?

Most teams will have 2 archers, so she is only redundant if you have two Nanaly.

Two Nanaly is technically more redundant then Nanaly and Bashira. However it is more powerful.

It's redundant because Bashira can be replaced by a better unit. Nanaly can not, at least not currently. If both Nanaly are cost reduced (will take time but is doable), there isn't a better set of archers, so I'd disagree with you. /shrug.

I think he was agreeing with you, but he meant it's literally more redundant to have 2 Nanally, although technically it's more redundant to have Bashy and Nana.

Okay, question for ppl in the DMM side who have seen the more advanced phase of the game: I want to have Phyllis, and eventually Assal, 50-nonCC, max-CR for anti-rush units. Will this tactic work in the long game, or would I eventually need to CC them to allow them to survive, or will I have to eventually replace them for this role.

Oh, oh wait, I thought of another question! Okay, Mens-only team: can I make due with just a standard, generic 15-man team build for all male-only missions, or will I need to diversify that side of my army as well?

To completely and do everything in game you will need to get all the CGs. Therefor you will need to get Bashira's affection up. Two Nanaly are not needed to unlock all CGs or even complete all the maps, and for both those Nanalys to be at their best you would need to get the affection of the same girl to 100% twice. Therefor by definition two Nanaly are more redundant then Nanaly and Bashira. However two Nanaly are more powerful. Just like I said.

EDIT: and yes I'm agreeing two Nanaly is the best Archer set you can get. Unless you are playing by the limits I set on myself.

You wouldn't need to CC Phyllis or Assal. There will be limited uses to them, but they will be useful for missions like "vs Giants" and the fairy rescue missions.

First and foremost is the upcoming event where you can obtain Aria. She will most likely be your primary soldier, making the need of a CC'd silver soldier unnecessary. You wouldn't need to use a CC'd silver soldier anymore with a max CR Aria.

Katie is similar to Phyllis stat-wise, and she should already be CC'd unless you haven't done so. There's little reason to have a 50CC Phyllis once you have both Aria and Katie at 50CC40+.

I've done all the male maps with both my 2 soldiers, the one HA, 2 mages and thrown in 4 archers from Dragon Hunting, one Christopher and completed all male maps including Wednesdays Hard. Was actually surprised at how easy they were, but some of my units are very well leveled, so YMMV.

i agree that once you get aria and level up katie, they'll be your primary starting units,
but occasionally they'll throw in maps where units just early zerg you and that's usually where the max reduced silver soldiers are almost a necessary, and they also make for good backup units when you get unexpected zergs coming at you.
Well in this game, you can basically beat 90% of maps with maxed silver units and quick hands, but max reduce silver soldiers & healers go further in usefulness compared to the other silver units, CC'd archers and armors are useful too though their costs reduc matters less.

Sorry I wasn't clear. Is there a better combo of Nanaly+x plat archer than Nanaly+Bashira? Bashira is probably the most powerful standalone, but together with Nanaly another plat archer might have more synergy.

Also anyone has an idea of the max SC available from missions? Just want to know how many silvers I rolled from gatcha...

Nanaly + Spica would be the highest, most synergistic, though during skill times it would be less than 2 Nanaly. But outside of skill use, those 2 maintain the highest consistent dps than any other combination of archers (provided you don't normally use more than 2 archers of course, though since she adds to all Archers Spica will increase even if you did use more).

Awakening ability of Spica, JP wiki translated: "Attack power up of Archer ◦ Attack power rise 7 percent of all Archer system class in just being sortie members" Due to the increase in ATK, the more archers you have the more damage, it also works for long lasting maps, the longer Archers are out the more total dps will be out put.

There are currently 39 total silvers from missions, Katies training and the urgent mission (witch) drill.

I think I'm in love with the 2k gacha. It gives out a ton of garbage but tries to redeem itself with a Bernard and Leanne 5 rolls apart.

So I had 5 crystals and figured I may as well toss 'em into the pot.

Thought I got a gold, not bad... turns out that glow is for a black! Got my first black ever with Deine. Too bad she costs a whooping 24 points to deploy though... I'm not sure how to really use her as well since that is a LOT of points, even if at level 1 she's got better stats in everything over a level 10 Bernice or a level 33 Leeanne with 50% affection.
