That is pretty much the case. In some situations a princess will not be able to tank a target, and you'll need a tank such as a heavy armor to do it. However in that same situation you are likely going to have your nearby 'ranged' slots filled with healers. This is where a Ninja would come in. However to be honest I'd probably use a Magic Swordsman in this case.

well best ninja role is to snipe the enemy on the other side since usualy there not even ranged spot, this the most fun part of having a ranged atk as melee.
And yeah there some of those enemy as well -.-.
Sorano event (now on jp revival, but it should be up around 1yr since jp official aigis up *no awaken yet*) have this we called super saiyan black cyclops that hit you for 2500 (map gimmick increase enemy move speed) def 300

Magic swd atk only turn magic if the skill up just point of note.
While they do have higher base atk, their ranged atk have reduced dmg (50%/60%/70%) and their atk speed is about the same as soldier
for ranged atk only without skill up on both class magic swdman atk roughtly the same as ninja with slower aspd
Edit: personaly within my experience 400 def still manageable with physical atk as your melee unit have about that much base atk, with skill it should be easy kill.
The time when you really need a magic atk to kil these large mob when the 1 come out with 800-1000 def
Remember you should include the multiplier from prince buff as well and when the skill pressed, i'm pretty sure your unit atk reached about 800-900 easily (of coz not for silver unit, but gold and up)
There also some enemy that have MR specialy those dark elven race type.

I feel kinda bad for seeing all these bad rolls...

so.... yeah. On the plus side, I officially have all the units I want from Gacha now. Unfortunately, Nutaku, this means I won't be spending quite as much on Aigis. At least until second barracks opens or my preferred spotlights go live.

Edit: The bottom spawned mage is what dropped the fairy for me
Well the king drops the demon crystal and one of the mages can drop a fairy, took me about 10 runs to get themDamn it, I need Valerie badly but dat 60 charisma

Yeah it took me the longest to get the bronze lizard from that map, don't get me started on the last map either trying to get those dropsAh, but I got both already but that freaking Bronze lizard doesn't want to drop for me for some reason.

If my math is right, about 12 runs or so for Julian. Not sure about Elaine, as I went straight for the Rainbow Fairy and Black Fairy after that.

I got julian in a full drop my first run, the rest took me an average of 7-10 runs per map to get the unit bonus

LOL so... all this talk about Ninja Hina, I finally decided "Yeah, okay, I'll go ahead and shoot for her. Haven't sent any money to Nutaku in a while, and I can spare a few bucks. Who knows? I might even pull Bashira or Lyla."
So I drop the cash, get my coins. All set for about a dozen rolls... 3 rolls in I get Hina. Whelp. *grumbles and stores away crystals...for now*

Do you not realize Hina is a spy for the Demoness. She is a kunoichi and her mission is to spy on you. This is the only reason you got her. She has no honor like my lovely Sakuya.

I am thinkng only spend SC on events, play no-stop and wait blacks from 2k gatcha
