Not rly, I have like 7 of them myself, probably not gonna CC it either so they'll most likely end up as exp fodder as soon as I run out of box space.

For instance: Before i rolled 250k gold into 2ks today I had 6 calliopes (saving them for war of magic) and 8 eunices
Results:
3 more calliopes (yay! I need them)
4 more eunices
and one daniella

that's not the first time results favor "the many", it's just that today i paid particular attention to this... suspicious statistical deviation...
I can almost swear that 2k gacha draw results factor in the quantity of the corresponding silvers u already have.
For instance: Before i rolled 250k gold into 2ks today I had 6 calliopes (saving them for war of magic) and 8 eunices

I'm fairly sure something's wrong with the 2k gatcha mechanics, or rather there may be some pattern it follows, but I don't think it has anything to do with the units u already own. People that use to dump large amounts of money on the 2k gatcha at once, like u, tend to get repeats, while I, using it regularly but hardly ever spending more than 50k daily on it, get very balanced results. I've got every single silver unit from the gatcha, probably at least twice too, but no more than like 5 of each. Maybe it's intentional and works like the premium gatcha, I mean some units are on the spotlight and get recycled daily

I can't help but hate you right now. Getting 2 out of 3 units I wanted most before even starting playing Aigis and never got. In mere 8 rolls. God damn it. Not going to summoning screen today in risk of breaking this smug face of Aigis in.

Finally, in the very long run, his Awakening Skill gives you a bonus +2 starting deployment points for every map so long as he's present in your 15-man team, even for those maps that he can't actually be deployed on (Woman's Battle, War of Magic, etc.). If I get him, he would eventually replace Katie when I got him leveled up to overtake her stats presently at 50CC40 (100% affection).
You mean Jerome. He's a Plat-rarity soldier, which means he ends up with very competitive and balanced stats at max level, even though he's male. Being Plat, he also gets his Call Reinforcements skill up faster than any of the gold-rarity soldiers do.

well I was a newbie and I didn't know how game mechanics work... So i CCd him when he just reached lvl30...
sigh...
I guess i just wasted a great unit (since awakening is not possible anymore for him)...

If it's any consolation, the two highest-level units in my entire roster after Lilia aren't even present in my main team. They're Hunter Stray and Commander Julian. Stray I leveled up early on when I was trying to get geared up for the Thurs. H daily. Game was still new to me, and I thought I could make up the difference of no affection vs max female affection on my silv archers by just power-leveling Stray. I hit level 50CC52 before I realized what a wasted effort this was.
Julian was much the same case. I got lucky with gatcha rolls and had multiple copies of him, and I knew he'd drop from certain events (like this one) so I figured a max-cr Julian could easily replace Katie. Unfortunately, Julian has arguably the worst line-up of stats out of the three gold rarity soldiers, and a not-so-super Awakening passive. I realized then that Katie was still the better investment of the two, especially when paired with Aria. Now that I've done more research, I feel like I could swap out Katie with Jerome, but Julian now sits like a gold-rarity, 50CC52 paperweight in my roster. Well, I also thought I would need him for the Mens Battle maps, but as it turns out I don't even need him for that either.
Don't sweat it, man. With your luck, that's not the last time you'll see him. Now you know how to handle him properly when you do get another copy, and you'll already have the first one ready to feed to him!

true he has a hhuge disadvantage due to his AW skill being garbage. but Katie's is not that good either. i myself have all my 3 Gold soldiers fully CC and leveled ready for anything. (i even replaced Leanne with Julian on my team.)

ugh...ran hard mode 24 times today and only got 2 platinum armors. Guess my luck was used up with the 3 I got last week when I could only run normal.
Need to get a few more units CC'd so I can grind things like platinum fairies with out missing the first one/two armors. Having Anya after the event should help with that immensely though.
