Go with Spica, you will use her more than Saki.
Problem is, I don't have a good archer (Daniella's my best atm)

Yeah I agree with Prototype: pick up Spica. Archers will generally see a lot more use than ninjas. Even then, Saki's kind of a niche ninja in that she focuses on assassination rather than support (depends on what you want your ninja to do). Spica, on the other hand, is one of the best archers in the game. Also, most people would recommend having more than one archer available for you to call on, so really I can't see you going wrong with picking her up.
Also, and most importantly, Spica's an elf, and Saki's not; so really, there was never even an argument here to begin with.

As far as the Trading Post is concerned, there should be plenty of time to either pick up 2-3 (depending on how many you have now) or to min-cost Spica.

So. I was starting to get really annoyed at this game. Silly stuff, really. Absolutely crap drops (I think I've had at least 5 silvers on all of my last Premium rolls), no Plat armors in three weeks. Being 3 gems short of that last Chydis you need before she goes off the market. Ya know, things like that.
So here I am, starting off farming Maribel, and I realize that I have ~400K gold just sitting around. "Whelp, might as well hit the shrine and try to farm a silver or two" I think to myself.
Second 2K gold roll, this happens:
I just stared. Probably a good 30 seconds before it occurred to me that the game was trying to make amends for being so silly and petty up 'til now.

well, maybe i'm wrong, maybe it's all crap, maybe ppl was silent when game just started, but i'm really feel that nutaku/jap dev did something to black drop rate from 2k gacha, I don't remember any black roll screenshots at first 200+ pages, and now there is like 1-2 proofs every 5 pages, dunno maybe i'm paranoic, but i'm think it's really good time to use your gold for summons. Or on other side, maybe game has "red line" after which you can roll black (maybe 2m+ gold wasted on rolls), but i'm pretty sure this situation with black rolls is abnormal D:

No worries, if u already have 312 demon crystals, u'll easily be able to get both Spica and Saki before they get swapped away, and u'll still have like 100-200 crystals left. That's if u don't spend sacred crystals for refills. It's not like they'll disappear in a couple of weeks, u have at least 3 months and most likely they won't all be taken away at once.
Took me like 3-3,5m to get my Clissa, but u're right, the black rolls from 2k gatcha seem to be more frequent lately (actually they used to be non-existent, now it's 1 every couple of days, globally ofc). The rates for silvers seem to have dropped drastically, on the other hand. Well, that's probably only RNG fucking with us

I got my second black unit (Treasure handler Liana) from 2k gatcha.
I was excited a lot!
At first.
Very soon I realised she's a crap healer with (seemingly) great skill which has ZERO use atm.
So excitement faded away

So now I sit here and wonder - should I consider myself lucky or is it quite the opposite?

You only need 2 Spica (In addition to the original one) to max CR her. So three total for a minimum cost of 12

She caps at -2 as far as I know, so it's 100% for the first time, 50% for the second and that's all.

For everyone fretting about how to prioritize your Demon Crystals:
As long as you're doing H-mode (or N if you're having bad luck with H) with your full allotment of Stamina, you will have enough for at least one of each unit assuming they're up for the same amount of time as Chydis. Odds are good they'll be there longer since:
1) Mathematically, there's just so many more crystals needed to CR/SU units (650 for one copy of all three opposed to the 200 for Chydis)
2) Saki and Akane were up for almost a half year the first time they went up, and that was including an event that was almost exclusively farming for Demon Crystals, though I'd be surprised if that event doesn't get brought to us as a "filler" week in the next month or so. Add to that the fact that they put Spica up at the same time...
