Guess it's time for me to start spending SC on this event for something other than Premium Summons

While I've seen it discussed hadn't seen the math posted, unless I completely missed it (entirely possible), about how many Serum's you need on a daily basis to reach 1200 by end of the event.

1200/14 days = 85.71 (round up) = 86.
This ignores levels, crystal consumption and is just a flat amount for the:
"How many do I need per day"?

So by the end of today (before reset), if your goal is to get a perfect Immortal Karma, you should have at a minimum: 343 Serums on your account.

Fucking damnit... It hurts to see it spelled out so clearly.

I've only got 88 serums so far, thanks in no small part to finally beating Dweller in the Deep 1-star, and getting 3 serums out of it (couldn't get 1 final fireball on the damned vampire). Just to get even get Immortal Karma I'm looking at needing 44 serums a day with only 12 Stamina to work with, having to farm Vampire.

Welp... looks like the best I can do is get the shitty Platinum version.

463. Only 7 SC left though, so it will slow down later on. Still, I had a lucky streak of full drops at least as big as unlucky one during Maribel event, so the future looks rather promising for once.

What map use to farm serum in this event?
from my view point 50/5 and60/6 drop same number but 60/6 is harder.

the math was done a few pages back. last map came out ahead. if you are able to clear it, there is no reason to do the one before it.

If you go by the unofficial drop rates in the wiki, the last map is slightly better. If you go by 100% / 50% drops, the 2nd last is actually slightly better. Personally, I'd just go by whichever silver units you prefer farming: Archer / Valk or HA / Healer.

Run both a 100 times.

100 x 50% = 50drops (50x10) = 500 Serums at a cost of 5000cha & 500 Sta

100 x 100% = 100drops (100x10) = 1000 Serum at a cost of 10,000 & 600 Sta

100 stamina difference for a 500 difference in Serum, not quite seeing it, am I missing something?
Granted I'm not counting the other drops only the 10 drop count.
I would think the lower map having a 100% on the 3 serum drop would still put it less then the 6sta map.

Too much math.

I'd just go by whichever silver units you prefer farming: Archer / Valk or HA / Healer.

Though I do like this idea better.

The wiki numbers go by 100%x3x2 / 45.9%x10 (avg. 10.59) for Vampire (2.12 serum per Sta) and 51.5%x3x2 / 100%x10 (avg. 13.09) for Dweller X (2.18 serum per Sta). Please note that these are not official drop rates, but user estimates.

If instead you estimate the non-100 drop rates at an even 50% value, it becomes avg. 11 for Vampire (2.2 per Sta) and avg. 13 for Dweller X (2.17 per Sta).

EDIT: I'm referring specifically to the 45.9% and 51.5% estimates. Somehow I imagine the official numbers are rounder than those, so I am just estimating 50% for both.

So the whole "do you feel lucky?" and is applied to both maps.


Taking what I used before and trying to calculate the 3serum drop rates:

100 map runs x 50% = 50drops (50x10) = 500 Serums at a cost of 5000cha & 500 Sta

100 map runs x 100% = 100drops (100x10) = 1000 Serum at a cost of 10,000 & 600 Sta

For first you'd add (50% of 100)= 50x3= 150, total would be 1150 Serum.
If both 3x drops share the 50% rate it would be (6x50) a total of 1300 Serum.

For second you'd be adding 2x3 = 6x100runs = an additional 600 serum.
Total for Vampire would be 1100 serum

Not really a big difference in the course of 100 runs. (1100 vs 1300)
Cost ratio does seem to favor Vampire especially Charisma wise.
The problem of course is the whole luck factor that both maps inherited.

Considering my luck, or lack of, I'm gonna have to go with the "guaranteed drops" odds, which the last map does have the edge on.
Sadly farming wise I actually need rogues as I only have one for AW fodder.

414 serum, Win 7 crystal and spend only 6 crystal only on Stamina, wolves's den only is 1 star, I have 22 more SC, I think I am on route
Last map usually 13, sometimes 16, only one time 10 (bad did 3 run with 0~6 serum)
50% lvl149 only doing event XD

The last map is definitely the more consistent map; Vampire is 50/50 you get either 6 or 16 serum, while Dweller X is 25/50/25 you get 10/13/16.

An error margin of 4.1% is way too much, it's more likely that it's 45% and I really doubt that the devs made 50/5 a better farming spot than 60/6 considering how simple the math is.

No math to back it up, but a guess would be the typical 10-15% drop rate most events seem to have. I had a good streak my first few runs getting silver drops, but they have been very sparse if any after that. So it seems the status quo for the silver drops is around where it normally is.

~15% for Daniela and ~10% for Mischa, the latter of which was replaced with Elaine in Nutaku's version. However, it is possible that the drop rates for these units have been altered, just something to keep in mind. Anyways, a decent chance for a unit drop by the old estimates.

it seems that on average there's less than 3% difference in total serums gained.

Map 7: Serumx3 100%, Serumx10 45.9%. Average per stamina: 2.118
Map 8: Serumx3 51.5%, Serumx10 100%. Average per stamina: 2.18166...667

This means that on average, 1200 serums would require 550 stamina on map 8, while it would require 567 on map 7. Depending on your level, that's 1-2 SC.

Now I don't know about everyone else, but I need a lot of archers, and on average throughout the event I'd get 17 Danielas from map 7. That's total worth the extra SC in my opinion.

That is if you're not the worlds unluckiest person.

I'm not much for math or analytics or lots of numbers, but I'm of the impression that the final map is far better than Vampire, however. Judging from experience (and I don't even really have terrible luck or anything either), I'm not anywhere near 80 serums a day after farming Vampire (I've got about 170 now, far behind...gonna have to use some SCs eventually). According to the above post though, Vampire should be similar to the final map for overall serum drops...I can't argue with numbers but somehow that post just doesn't seem right, with or without luck.

In addition, the thing is, I've mastered Vampire to a science, and the final map is an ordeal for me (needing to carefully monitor units and withdraw them constantly), even without 3-starring it and even using tutorials. So I'm really taking y'all's word that Vampire is SOMEWHAT near the last map's overall output, even considering the luck factor. Bet everyone with Lianas are laughing right now, btw.

On the bright side, I've farmed enough Vampire to see some silver archers to CC Bashira. I think the drop rate is 10% according to the JP drop chart, but obviously, the devs could have changed it for EN. I got 2 Danielas from Vampire out of about 12 runs, so it might be a little higher (or I could just be somewhat lucky).

Mann, I've just barely crested 100, though my acquisition rate should be a bit faster from here on out since I have Dweller pretty much nailed down... Down to just leaking a single wolf per run and I'm more or less okay with that. I'll probably be satisfied hitting 370... Somehow 600 is feeling like my pipe dream number, but at least heavily reduced lesser Karma is something? Maybe? Ugh.
