The main reason black karma is wanted is mostly because of her skill (no NOT the aw ability, this easily replaceable if you got healer).
There are plenty of boss enemy that have a really high atk, and they not always deployed at the very end of the wave, but alot of time they appear since the begining of the wave. (of coz you will not always have high cost deploy at start)
While there is alot possible strategy to clear it, but these sometime require a high rarity or even an awaken unit to kill the boss before it hit the exit. Thats why karma being a high hp and the skill herself able to hold this type of enemy down.
So i say why don't make your life alot easier when its possible instead of having too much headache of how to clear....
Also i read alot ppl are unhappy about why karma not able to get healed, well 1st don't always think this negatively, let's say what happen when you 1-2 healer have to heal 3-4 unit that under heavy atk (like splash atk).
Deploying unhealable karma actualy help lessen the burden for healer to heal multiple unit, and this type of strat is normal to use in future (although i used eden instead *don't have karma in JP*)
PS: i though its 13sec skill duration
Edit: Someone PM me that whats the use of using karma to gank some weak enemy like mage / archer...
For starter i never mention karma is used to gank weak enemy where a simple Iron / Bronze unit able to do it, you might pick the wrong person directing this question.
Karma is mostly used to intercept a high dmg enemy (1500-2000+++ atk) / kill some enemy under concentrated atk (like 8-10 black goblin archer / mage which quite normal scenario) or make ur life easier to those who failed pressing withdraw when tanking avenger...(have fun with pharaoh)
