Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
Nope, nope, nope, you're assuming that running the same map twice with a reported (not even confirmed to be the actual drop rate) 50% drop chance to add together and be 100%. That is not how probability works. You have a 50% chance of her dropping each time you enter, so at best it would be a "75%" chance of walking away from using 14 Stamina to run her last map twice with a single drop of her. Which, with the rules of probability and chance, you're getting diminishing percents on NOT seeing her drop once, which is true. But you can not add the chances together and say "2 runs of Map5 will be 100%", it's been explained multiple times already. In the laws of probability, there are no guarantees.
However, Golden Armor H is a 15% drop rate I believe on the Platcan. So yea, in the long run you have a better chance of Lynn dropping vs a Platcan. But remember its 3stamina vs 7stamina, on top of 1000exp vs 550exp (I forget the exact number but that's close enough for now) for a Platcan vs Lynn. But even weighing out the #s and the %s, how many spirits are you using to get Lynn to equal out to the 8,000exp you're getting with only using 1 Platcan and 3 Spirits? Probably takes about 5 or 6 to get the same amount of exp out of her, plus you can only use 4 units per combine, which means you have to use 2 Lynns + 3 and 2 Spirits to equal 1 Platcan + 3 Spirits which also means you're spending more gold as well. Even if you aren't using Spirits and Platcans/PlatUnits to level a different unit, you're going to need a ton of gold just to get a unit from lv1-50 for CC, plus more gold to max them out for Awakening, on top of 200k, 250k, and 300k for Gold/Plat/Black units respectively (if we even get a Sapphire Unit, they're 250k and are basically considered a Plat Unit when Awakening) for a single unit. I would personally rather save the gold now so I have less to farm later on, and I'm pretty sure those who already know the gold costs of leveling and awakening units are probably of the same mind set.
I'm not going to continue dragging this out though, we'd be sitting here debating on it for days and probably never come to understand each other. So I'll leave it at that and "to each his/her own."
