Unfortunately, you most likely won't be able to obtain enough stars to get a perfect Solano. However, this is a two week long event and you only need to reach certain star breakpoints. Lafate posted a guide to the event here that includes videos showing the maps being beaten with fairly stock units, look in the Maps section. If you use those videos as a reference point and level up your units as appropriate, you may be able to obtain enough stars to earn a base Solano, which will also make upgrading her during her revival easier.

I have to agree with ya here, newer players will have a tough time clearing the event right as it hits, esp if they don't prepare for it ahead of time. And like 12TonWeight said, using SC to do stamina refills is probably a MUCH better option when falling behind because of a plethora of units you can't use due to them being base level from spamming the gacha wheel. I dropped $100 at the start of November and have been using the SC to catch back up on some backlog units from the month before. Spammed Phalanx2, Immortal Beast and Golden Armor H to drop fairies, affection items, fodder and some Platcans (I think I got like 3 on monday?), unfortunately I still don't think I'd be able to 3* Mighty Ogres X, that initial Black ONI oh god..... then the Black Oni at the end with the aura.... just rekt my shit like paper. Picking up buffs and going to take another crack at it later.

Oh and my comment wasn't directed solely at you Leonhardt (just the part of me agreeing with you and 12TonWeight), it was also at any newer players reading.

Yeah, grab maxed Cypria, hit Assassinate and pray. Or you might as well bend over. I have literally nothing else that could work. Even in theory.

And just to put it into perspective: 300-360ish stamina like you have around level 100-120 equals something between 16-17 hours time. 10 SC spent equals a week real time. so if you invest 100$ ito get 150 SC you get 15 weeks, more than 3 months of time. So there. do this twice, gap (to the free players, at least. but they do well enough) pretty much closed.

Well I'm doing this blind run..... well more like 1/2 blind cuz i did sorano revival in JP ver about 6-7? month ago although i pretty much forgotten other than the main key point i had hard time during that time (My jp acc during sorano revival only 3-4 month old * / wish i can bring Eden here )
Well star event, take it easy... you have 2 week to clear it...

*Here an advice to aigis player, Instead of keep failing the map again and again, find whats went wrong 1st --> try to fix it even it require time to lvl up unit --> then try clear it again.*

I'm going to kindly reiterate that it took us NINE months for us to reach this point. JP had this event schedule from the start. We suffered for three-quarters of a year.

The only thing I want is one WEEK between events so I feel like I'm making some progress. When events are back to back, getting harder and harder, the only thing I get is frustrated. "That's another event to add to the list of 'things I have to come back for'."

The only thing I get to do is watch the myriad of videos showing off your maxed Karmas, Anyas, and everything else in between. It doesn't help that, for whatever reason, I level a lot slower than you guys seem to. I'm always running out of gold, so even though I WANT to level, I WANT to have all those nifty CC'd units with high power, affection, etc, I can't. Maybe I don't know what I'm doing, maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. I just know I'm making progress a lot slower than everyone else.

Even a friend of mine who just started the damn game has managed to 3-star Castle Retake...

I think it's a more better option to power Lv and make a comeback at 2'nd week
Rather than failing even once , I could use every single stamina at farming affection item instead

Lv is somewhat important , since You will get more fodder
Meaning a more tougher Team
I somewhat want to throw SC for Charisma , but I think I will be patient and wait a little longer~

Clearing and 3 Star 6 Map in first Day
Is quite good enough for Me
Since at the first i only aim for 18 Star~

Alright, here's a little more assistance then. Firstly, if you're having Gold issues, Monday Daily is your friend. Here are videos for

. Now, these aren't showing off anything high rarity or fancy, just stock units virtually everyone has, with the exception of Kerry who the newest of players don't have. Additionally, only the Hard video uses CC'ed units.

Secondly, for leveling your units, if you can use Commission Sortie on Return to Ruins, then do so to level your forces up. It provides the best Unit XP per Charisma. If you run into money troubles after running Monday and need gold to keep on leveling using Return to Ruins, do a few runs of Pastoral Gate and sell off all of the drops.

Also, once again, check those videos in Lafate's post that I linked earlier, they'll show you what you'll need, and have access to, to level in order to get enough stars for Solano. With the two weeks you have, you should be able to get a force strong enough to get the stars.

EDIT: If you don't have the units ready to run the event maps, then you can focus on Challenge Maps to get Affection items and Fairies to help level up and/or CC your units on days with less desirable dailies.

Keep in mind that on top of the 3 months of time you buy with 150 SC you will also level and get charisma refills, as well as some stamina refills. If you get the exp boost from the shop you will reach each level quicker and get more free refills. And as you level you get more overall charisma, so if you are over level 100 each level will make your remaining SC worth 3 more minutes.

The whole thing has a pretty big knock-on effect. And in Shyao's case. You will also get strong enough to do more missions which will give you access to better missions to run for more exp and gold. And if you also get the gold boost from the shop you will get a fair amount of money from all the missions too.

Or just go spam fire dragon for the best unit xp gold and hero xp balance and switch to dragon hunting whenever money runs tight. has the added advantage that it takes roughly 1 sc with minimal downtime between levels. So you can do it in one evening.

Edit, yeah. Thats why I figure you only need to do it twice and not three times to catch up to free players. The only real "disadvantage" he would still have is that he lacks all the Event Units. With the lineup the demoness blessed him with that should not sting too badly though.

34/36 stars for the event, Mighty Ogres X.... good god all those Ogres and not enough ranged slots, gave me the only real problem in all of the maps so far this event. Though I DID use the Goddess Blessing buffs for maps9-12.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, since some people like to point fingers and complain about event units, I did not use Rowanna once, I do not have max lv Black/Platinum Units (at best I have a 50cc40 Berna, lv63 Sybilla, and a 50cc40 Saki as all of my Black units, my only MAX lv Units are Silvers, Katie and 1 Odette at 38UC) I do not have Immortal Karma, just the Platinum Karma. No Belinda, no Aria, no Maribel, no Anya, no Echidna either as I started AFTER their events ended.

As far as how many SC it takes to level and such, with the Exp and Gold Boost buffs from the shop, I think it takes me about 2~3 SC + full Charisma refill from leveling and a couple hours of waiting to do 1~3 more Immortal Beasts given my current level (162) so 20k+ exp required for a level and 676 exp from IB... Still a lot of fodder and gold.

Best option Shyao will have for fixing gold issues is definitely run Golden Armor N/H, E isn't really worth your time and tbh neither is N unless you can't clear H yet. I'd honestly recommend spending a few SC on Charisma/Stamina refills the next time Monday comes around and farm the hell out of it until you get bored of it (that's exactly what I did this past Monday.) Plus you have a 16% chance of a Platcan dropping from H, unfortunately its only a 6% drop from N (drop rates taken from English Wiki.) Using Gold Boost buff from Shop helps you get a guaranteed 6750~ gold per 3* clear on H. At max/full drops and 3* clear, that's 42,750 gold for 60chr and 3stm. Leonhardt already posted videos for them so I won't repost them.

Obviously that give's small EXP than Dragon Hunting / Immortal Beast

If it's not his Golden Rule , he probably already at the very least Lv 100++ by now

Again, I'm OCD too and didn't get around to Castle Retake until I was level 100 and well overleveled to 3* it, but he's stubborn and doesn't want to CC a bunch of necessary classes or use crystals responsibly, so what can you do?

Yup this is 1 of anoying map if you aim 3 star, although 2 star is really easy if you let that black oni go, which most old jp player do so...
with the Current unit available the only idea i can tank of is...
1. use karma to tank while having plat rarity archer to dps it down as well.
2. use nanaly to dps it down, while using those iron soldier to hold him up (timed it so ur soldier withdraw before he swing down the weapon.... he got long time charging his atk (this trick will be useful again for demon comander who hit 5000 and all sort of golem))

Well there maybe better strat in video, since i never check every single of video out there my playstyle mostly blind run or on high cost map just check 1 video of whats incoming (also true to my JP acc as well / draa helping me with this as he let me see when he attempting new map in JP ver)

3.*better don't read it* in JP revival while my acc still weak with no AW, i use eden (vampire lord) to paralyst and kill him

Took another shot at Ogres X to see if I can 3* it because I'm apparently a masochist. I might toss up a video if I can get it down but I'm not going to burn SC attempting to get a 3* clear. Its definitely a tricky map and I'm probably just breaking a few things by using Platinum Karma, Berna, Sherry and Sybilla on that map, just wish I had a better healer than Iris for Sybilla and Sherry....

Anyway, someone mentioned using a Rogue to Assassinate the first Black Ogre, so I tossed Berna in for attempt #2, I got the insta-death to proc on it once but only 1*d the map afterwards because I was still getting a general idea of how to re-plan my strategy, deployments, positioning and "strategic withdraws." On my 3rd attempt at it I managed to 2* the map, Berna did NOT proc Insta-death with Assassinate III, but she dodged like she was using after-images. Sybilla ended up getting killed by the last Black Aura Ogre at the very last second, Iris was half a second slow on the heal and I derpped like a derp and didn't think to withdraw her, Sherry got the final shot in however, and yes, I'm using the 7SC Goddess Protection buffs.

Going to try and find an alternate method to beat Castle Retake that doesn't require so many units.

Can someone please share the percentage chances for Lynn to CR? I'm still stuck at CR-1 despite I've fed her five Lynns by now.

I am CCing units. Right now, I'm working on CCing Iris so I'll have a second CC'd healer. After her, I'll probably do either a Rogue or get Soma CC'd. Maybe I'll do Dorca instead to have a third CC'd healer, just in case. Phyllis is also an option, now that I think about it. If I can get more Spirits of Gold, I want to CC Mehlis, if only to have one CC'd Mage, especially since I have her at CR-2 right now. If not her... Maybe Kerry.

Once I get a hold of some Spirits of Platinum, I'm going to CC Lyla and Bashira ASAP. Lyla first because I'm sitting on about 6 Silver Bandits and Lyla is my only one worth a damn.

What classes use Bandits as part of their CC?

I can understand being OCD and wanting to do something a certain way, but if you CAN NOT do something the same particular way you've been trying to, eventually something is going to give, be it your sanity or you eventually clear it out of 1/2*ing sometime again and again while getting LESS than the max possible gold from that same map and using the fodder units you're able to get just from that map and burning yourself out on the event maps.... Honestly sounds more hazardous to one's health then my being masochistic and continuously going back at a map I actually know I can 3* (lookin at you Ogres X.) But at least in my case with Ogres X, I'm on the borderline of relying on luck (Assassinate III/Dodge procs) to just being able to power through it (dat wall of Princesses.) One way or another, something will break, but I doubt it will be my sanity.

Regardless of how I worded the above paragraph/run-on sentence, whether you're OCD or just have money to burn, if you're having a problem with something.... take a step back and try to figure out what the issue is and fix it. If that means doing a different map until you've reached the level(s) required, then so be it.

But the worst part of all is the attitude I've seen people receive when attempting to help others and its honestly irritating. If you refuse the help given to you, don't take it out on those helping you regardless of your physical/medical/emotional state, an occasional outburst I can understand, but as often as I've seen? No amount of excuses can justify it at that point. But I could just drop the line of "excuses are like assholes, everyone has one but no one likes to hear them."

NOTE: This post in a general statement and just a bit of a rant, if you take offense to it well....that's your own problem, not mine.
