Re: Anthophobia

Which ID card is he missing? My current save has all but #3, but I didn't go out of my way looking for them, either. Not sure if the save I posted a while back is up to date with what I have right now, though.

Re: Anthophobia

I only said that cause Sour said that they're going to put it there. They already said that Curious Factory is reviewing it. And by hacked, I'm assuming you mean pirated, right?
Yup, but seeing how well he treats his customers I think very few people will not pay for the game. I hope so...

I may put my hands on a pirate copy if my willpower fails me. But, damn if I had a credit card I will be buying this thing without hesitation. So far no more than 20 H-games have achieved that from me in 8 fucking years, the last one was -Inter Breed- just to give an example of what I consider a good game.

Re: Anthophobia

I've already had requests for a link to the game not even a few hours after I said I bought it, some of which from users with high reputation, which is a little unsettling. This isn't even an remotely arguable situation like the paid betas that many western hentai games are doing lately, it's the full-fledged game.

I'm not going to chide anyone for pirating since it's obvious we all do it here with many other games, but asking for links to a game from someone who participates in the community (and is also friendly and appears to actually listen to feedback), much less not even a day after his game comes out, should be an obvious faux pas.

He threw up what was pretty much a 100% save excluding the missing cg and not having Gold ID #5

That said, I still have to actually go out of the way to actually look for some of the IDs on my own save.

I figure the regular IDs either randomly drop or only drop from specific enemies, which will be some fun hunting I'm sure.

I personally only found Id #1 and #4 on my first run through. I did see #2 but had no idea how to reach it and I can safely assume that #3 is also in the 2nd stage somewhere and the 5th one is probably tucked away in the 3rd stage.

Dumb people can delude themselves into thinking they are entitled to things, and use that as a justification for bad behavior. Abstractly, you are in a superior position by being immune to such mental acrobatics. You get to believe that you are a good person.

Practically, though? Your position sucks. Pretty much everyone else gets to think they're good people while simultaneously reaping all the benefits of being bad people.

Re: Anthophobia

I'm actually coming out of a long-time lurkerdom to post this:

Is the final boss even POSSIBLE?

I've tried it on Normal and Easy difficulty, and I just keep running out of stage before I get him down to a quarter of his health. I've been trying for three hours now. This is fucking ridiculous, so much so I've lost my sense of reason and am actually posting here about it. Nobody else seems to be having this issue, so I must be doing something wrong.

I'm actually surprised that that's actually possible, I always end up getting killed before that happens. I'll admit that the boss is no pushover at all.

What I generally did for doing a rather steady stream of damage, was tossing in the occasional molotov and just emptying the bullets on it.

The burn damage from the molotovs don't appear to stack however so it's best to only throw out one at a time, wait till the previous one burns out before you throw another. As another note, you can also do damage to it as it's walking onto the screen before the boss fight actually starts, so feel free to quickly take advantage of getting in free hits.

There's no real reason to melee here unless you're obviously out of ammo, I didn't notice a huge difference in damage from having high stamina or none when attacking it with the pipe though, it's faster to just crouch kick the supply boxes as well or letting the boss break them open if he happens to attack while in range in one.

The dlsite version will be censored I think.

Profound sadness.

Okay, stay on the far left side and shoot him with your pistol whenever you can. As the crates come, hit them with your pipe and get the ammo. Throw the fire whenever you can.

Once he starts to do the move where he comes up really close and smashes your part of the stage, walk past him and then move back to the left as he retreats right again.

His other "earth" spike move and laser attack are pretty hard to dodge, and they are random. What I did was actually took damage from those things falling from above at the ending point, as they don't hurt nearly as bad as his laser. Keep shooting, keep getting ammo, eventually you beat him.

Actually, it's not random. only his "certain move" summons earth spikes :D

I'm sorry, I have to follow the japan law T_T

I tried :p Hey random question. Since I downloaded it off Kimochi, do you know where the save file is saved to? It's my first download from the app, and I'm not entirely sure where it gets saved to. A folder for the game appeared where I saved it, but it has none of the game's actual data in it.

Here's my save with all CG, Gold card, and only missing some normal ID card.

Re: Anthophobia

Just on the side, I've been wondering for a while now. Is there any significance to the protagonists strikingly green hair and flower? Is she partially infected in some manner perhaps? Or is it just an ironic fashion choice, or even an attempt of sorts at blending in?

I've not played the full game yet, so if it's explained in game there's no need to tell me and I'll find out when I get round to it. Otherwise... just curious.

There's some posts on the development blog a bit back that explain things, but essentially, she's an infected that somehow has managed to maintain her sentience, the green hair, red eyes and the flowers growing in her hair are mutations as a result of the infection. I don't think any of this is mentioned in-game.

Edit:Meanwhile, I've managed a 100% save, which doesn't appear to unlock anything yet. I could've sworn sometime back that there would be an unlock for collecting all of the ID cards, but I guess it isn't implemented or there was a change of plans

Speaking of which, how does DLSite "feel" about developers releasing a JP-legal game (with proper censorship) and then - unofficially, on their website - offering a little patch that removes the censorship :)?
Has anyone ever tried doing this "behind their backs"? Or has anyone ever tried asking them upfront?

I'm not sure if it's something that's discouraged or not allowed but I know at least one or two games have released uncensor patches, for those who were unable to buy the game from the dev directly and had to buy it through dlsite.

is an example.

I was thinking EXACTLY in this game whe i've made my asking...;)
if possible, launch the game Uncensored in the English DLsite :)
