Lady luck hates me.
Almost everyone I've fought today has had Wasted effort, Cost shackles, and Blood curse or whatever that one is called. Rather infuriating.

Just went against a high ranked guy and did pretty decent.
I assume I have to pay to get cards like he has? wellfuck that lol. I'm surprised I even lasted as long as I did against that power house deck. I had the game in the bag until he played that amazing card that destroys all cards on the field. After that he kept the advantage.
As for my ticket.. I pulled Alice. That is a pretty good card, right? The one that returns traps to hand.

Yeah, Alice is great. One of my favorite cards.
Case in point, I probably wouldn't have won this match without her. (no room to run multiple Occults)
In case the progression isn't obvious:
-summoned Alice to return a trap card (turned out to be Dodge)
-used Retreat on Alice (I love this combo more than I probably should)
-summoned Alice again to return the other trap (turned out to be Prepare for Battle)
-suicided Natalie into Framboise
-used Vita to finish off Framboise, doing enough damage to win the match
As a bonus, in the prior turn, I lost my Flora to my opponent's Sakura + Decree.

Alright I'll add her in for something else, the retreat combo is really smart but I don't think I'll be putting that one in my deck. I'm also considering adding a Kira in my deck, don't really like her 11 cost but man she is just so tanky I guess it's worth it. Also got my Ryumei fully upgraded and she is going to cost a ton to level up I think. I only have her level 50 and I did 9 wood + 1 book to level up and she only gained 1 level.

Yeah, it's not a combo that gets used often, if at all. Partly because not a lot of people have Alice to begin with, and partly because few people use a niche card like Retreat. So it's a combo that I may as well make my signature at this point.
Less common is using it with Huan Lu... and if I had them, Momiji/Raquillet. The latter case would be particularly deadly...
And yeah, SR/SSRs are notoriously difficult to level without SSR exp cards. My new Mutsuki from 1-60 took two SSRs, 1-2 SRs, and a few R/HR cards to hit level 60. And now I'm stuck until I get enough stones from wood daily... which is right now, come to think of it.

Sylvie, Muriel, Celine, Nana, Strano, Monica, Risa, Sango, Urie, Nadeko, Rinrin.
I personally like Risa and Strano's ability and Sango having 1150 max attack is great for a 4-cost, I'll probably replace a Fiore.

Muriel is amazing (2-cost Strength Sap), especially when paired with Yuzuki. Definitely keep her.
Risa is decent too, IIRC.
I have a Sango but don't use her, so idk.

Muriel is amazing (2-cost Strength Sap), especially when paired with Yuzuki. Definitely keep her.

You have no opinion on Strano? She's a 1750 atk 7-cost and her special ability is whatever damage she receives from getting destroyed back onto them. I think that could be good if it'll work as me initiating the attack but if it's only if the opponent initiates it.. that's a bit worse.

I suppose you could place her as a stop-gap if, say, you lost board control but have a higher LP than your opponent. I dunno, it seems like she's Chain Reaction with a body. Your call if you think she's worth keeping around.

Likewise, Muriel's main weakness is that she loses her turn when she uses her skill, and doesn't attack in the process, so it needs a second body to take advantage of the skill (which is why Muriel works so well with Yuzuki, since that's an easy -1000 attack to any opponent you double-team them with).

How much does HR exp give in comparison to SSR exp? I got pretty lucky in the quest and got 3x fire crystal and 7 HR exp's. Also have a lot of SR + SSR cards that need upgrading now.. I think I'll focus on my lower cards first (stuff like rebbecca, chao, asuka and framboise).

We got aqua today as the prize, her skill kind of sucks but her stats are good. So far I'm liking the stuff we are getting out of this event, especially this HR exp as a reward, it is pushing my lower cards up really fast.

In the upcoming patch her skill will be buffed, if I remember correctly. Her stats are also pretty nice for a 7 mana card. She is pretty decent actually.
