Sadly that's true I saw "everything is ok" answer when it was not (but they fix it the next day...) but in this case it's not a input error the same price is in the dmm version too.
8$ for a 50%-100% chance of the rare you want? No way this will ever happen. Gacha has a 1/godknowshowmanythereare chance to get the one you want for 5$ that is way lower for not even halve the price.
You don't seem to understand how this buisness works:
1. let them play for free.
2. give them some cheap stuff they can buy (monster gems) 10% of the playerbase will buy them.
3. give them some expensive stuff to buy (100$ gacha/bags) 10% of the paying playerbase will buy them.
But due to the insane pricing that 10% of 10% is still like 99% of the money they make. Lowering the prices as long there are "rich idiots" out there is a bag idea.
Good to know that is the price in the DMM version, I was unaware of this. Still, it makes no sense and I'll be interested in their response. There was a Nutaka representative on another board I frequent, so maybe I can discuss a bit more with him.
As for your last comment, I completely understand how business works. What you, and others who argue, don't seem to be following, is the $50 banana is beyond illogical. There is literally no business argument for this item, because you can get a USD banana that does the EXACT SAME THING for $20 cheaper, and it comes with 11 monster gems. There is no business reasoning for creating such a product. Someone mentioned McDonald's earlier, and it can provide a reasonable analogy. It is like McDonald's selling a cheeseburger for $10, and also selling the same cheeseburger with fries and a drink for $5. Why on Earth would anyone buy the $10 cheeseburger?
So, someone got royally screwed and bought it once to realize that it was actually the same as the USD banana? If I'd done that, I would demand a refund from Nutaku. Would I get it? Maybe not, in which case I would literally do everything I could to dissuade others from playing. That is a poor business model, and those who are smart in business know not to underestimate word-of-mouth advertising.
Finally, as for the gatcha. I can pull the rank up gatcha 10 times for the price of one USDD banana. That is guaranteed to be at least ONE SL, and probably a few. Additionally, the gatcha SLs are far more "rare" than the rares roaming the maps. They tend to have better skills too. As I've stated, there is no logical reason for that item, and I still think it was designed in error. $5 does fit with the other pricing, when you evaluate it as a whole.
EDIT: I'll add that the $5 pricing is not even my main point. I just used $5, because I'd assumed an input error or something where an extra zero was added. If the price should be $10, then whatever, but it should be brought in line with everything else about the game. The guarantee rare banana could be a useful item if it were reasonably priced.
