im trying to experiment with some of the games values does anyone know what byte type the game runs on so I can use cheat engine or am I just missing something.

To pick a new lair you gotta go to the Places option.

It is the button just above the "Lair" that you click to go to your Lair.

Click in "Places", choose a place and click it. The option to "Make it your new Lair" will show up. Once you do it, you will lose all your upgrades, hostages and guards. You will have to redo everything: Goblins, Mercenaries, Traps and Fortifications.

The "Places" option should appear once you loot a place that fits the requirements. The easiest ones are the ones in the Trade Route, usually guarded by just one Old Knight.

Renpy either uses alot of obfuscation (intentional or otherwise) or the offset is so large that cheat-engine can't find the values. I've never been able to manipulate a renpy game using it.

lol that's one of the first things I tried when I got the "get 40k gold" objective.

Anyway, I did eventually grab this. While the H isn't really worth it, I like aspects of the gameplay (and without the porn I think it would make an awesome concept for a main-stream sandbox title). Sadly there's too much reliance on RNG to make the game difficult. I'd love to be able to get more mutations through side-quests or something, it takes way too many to get your size up to a reasonable level and come the fuck on we all know that dragons are large creatures by the time they are mature!

If anyone has a save with like 20-30 achievements I'd appreciate a copy. At this point would just like to see how much havok I can cause in the game, but DOH! fun mode is locked behind a wall of retarded grind.

So, how do you win a game? I've just got my third 'get me a shiny, hunny' mission from the Mistress in a row, and I want to know what I need to do to continue.

E: Never-mind, beat it. Had to call in the Mistress to kill the angel because I was nearly dead from the airship fleet (fucking dwarves)

So, how do you win a game? I've just got my third 'get me a shiny, hunny' mission from the Mistress in a row, and I want to know what I need to do to continue.

Two options, though both will require you to get a better dragon bz doing those missions or you will fail:
a) defeat the mistress
b) use your army to assault the free lands and win

But don't even try to beat the mistress without a fully grown dragon. Even then its pretty luck based which appearances she takes and if you have the right counters for that.

If you produce a lot of troops (Elites in specific) and enough money you can fight the first battles yourself and then let the army do the cleanup when you are too wounded.

question if anyone knows, are the stats from eating bears/boars permanent? do they extend to the next generation?

First I thought they only lasted for a short time for the one dragon, then I noticed in a run where I ended up eating a bunch I was winning a lot more fights. OTOH, I also had en event where after eating a boar, I fought a jotun, had to regroup and come back next turn, and my chance of winning had actually gone down despite having all the same buffs of last time, implying it only lasted the one turn

Does anyone know how to transfer saves from one install to another? Mine keeps on coming up with errors when it pulls up a picture it doesn't like.

Might as well share the 'chievos I've gotten, so others can build on the list:
Easter Bunny: Collect all Easter eggs (No idea, got it before I ever left gen 3)
Excellent Lodge: total value of treasure >100,000
Crown of the Collection: Most valuable artifact worth >9000
Watchful Eye: Never get robbed/forced from your lair for a playthrough
Magnificent Smaug: Get the Dwarven Kingdom Lair
Child of Destiny: Dark Army takes over the kingdom
Great Snake: Win the story
Leviathan: Max size at victory
Legendary Tyrant: Infamy >19
Inseminator: As one dragon fuck all types of non-giantess (peasant, rich, elf, mermaid)
Father of Titans: As one dragon fuck all types of giantess (Ogre, fire, ice, Triton, Titan)

What other chieves have you gotten? I'm guessing beat the Mistress, win without wings/legs/magic/ect, win as a dragon (wings, two sets of legs), min size, ect.

Do you get free-play after you beat the campaign? I'd like the free play because I like kinda derping around and trying things out and I'm tired of having the limit to get 40k and then losing.

You have a save folder in DefilerWings\game\saves.
What worked for me to backup those files was to copy the 1-2-LT1.
And when I wanted to use that save again I used the retire button and AFTER that I moved the savegame copy to the save folder again.
You could also use that to save scam (which was really required to beat the mistress in my case, for some of her appeareances I had no counter at all...

Yeap. In free mode you can build your dragon at the start. And you can pick one of those mutations for each achievement you got so far.

Means that if you got lets say 5 achievements and won the game and you start in free mode you could pick for example 2 size upgrades, 1 extra head, wings and magic. And the extra nice thing is that you don't get one of 3 random choices, you get all choices to pick from.

Ah, its for free mode. I don't do free mode because it's more interesting to slowly build up your dragon.

ok, on this question, since nobody seemed to know, I figured out a really simple test to find the answer when I noticed shark's gave extra magic. Eat a shark, get point, wait till next turn. The magic point did not regenerate, so there is no point in farming boars or whatever trying to buff your stats, the boost you get from eating one is one turn only

I've also found later on that the best way to control mobilization is funding terrorists. Once mobilization starts it keeps stacking each turn, eventually leading to roads filled with patrols looking for your head rather than rich caravans full of loot.

You can see how bad it is by checking how much it costs to fund the terrorists. Each level of mobilization adds 100 to the cost. Even worse is that you have to pay once to remove 1 stack each time, so if you have 10 mobilization it now costs 1000 to remove 1 stack, then 900, then 800, etc...

This means it's best to maintain a relationship with the terrorists. For the low cost of 100 gold a year you can keep mobilization down, the roads full of sweet loot, and minimize destruction of the land while keeping your head.

(I also suggest using them to sabotage skilled thieves and hope you get a crappier one, 600-1000 gold vs losing half your hoard to a master thief...)

For the trinket, try to raid the mountains a few times, every now and again you will raid a gem mine, silver mine etc. After you have a decent amount of higher quality gems, walk into the town disguised as human (either get one mana from witch or be a caster dragon), go to the jeweler and create an amulet with the most expensive stuff you have, socketing as much as you can and selecting master craftsmanship.

For the 40k, its nearly the same. Get some gems, go to the town, craft fancy stuff, sell in town. I struggled with this one too because normals raids just dont suffice, but those crafted amulets are oftentimes worth around 4ksih.

Depends on what upgrades you took, but if you have wings, safest way would be to use every turn robbing cathedral if you only need cash. If you don't have wings, next option would be to look for merchants on the roads or rob noble houses. If it's make an item quest, you'll have to visit the mountain and steal materials, or hope a noble's daughter has something really expensive on her.

Lot more options for this if your dragon is a lot stronger, but since you're only 5th generation, I'm assuming you can't beat tougher opponents like giants/dwarf champions.
