Why was this thing bumped anyway? Just so people could give their opinions on how this game that doesn't effect them sucks and others can tell people off for those opinions that don't effect them either? Funny how these stances are never actually thought out so that they don't break their own rules.

You know after all this talk on Toonpimp I have yet to see anyone touch on his up and coming projects. I find that quite odd on a thread dedicated to talking about his work.

That's because anything he's done recently (past 8 months) hasn't been on anybody's radar. At all.
Anything before that, has been talked about already.
But that's not why people raised this thread.
Oh no. They decided that they wanted to bring up a long dead debate that has been talked about to death. And they're not saying anything that hasn't already been said multiple times by multiple people.

In case you guys haven't seen, TP has a new game on his site called "Miyu & Krystal". If anyone sees the post in the next half hour, just know I'm going to be playing it and editing in more info as I go along. No point in taking up multiple posts, unless someone posts after me.

EDIT: Alright, nevermind. This game is just a piece of crap. No better than the average game on funny-games.biz... All you can do is make Krystal finger Kiyu, use a dildo on her, or just sit there while some random dick starts fucking Kiyu. It's terrible.

Honestly, Toonpimp is my favorite porn artist.
I really like the Run-Or-Rape gameplay and furry characters with both gay and straight content. It's difficult to find any games as such, and I earnestly wait for his next game when he announces it.

However, I will agree with the fact that he should stay on one game until he finishes it, and not announce it unless he is serious about making it. I was excited for the 'Ginju and Oglor' game that was being made, but I guess another Showtime Rhonda is fine.

Have you ever created something? Or tried to? A game, a story, something that takes a decent investment of yourself to do?

Doing more than one at a time is a major life-saver, it helps relieve stress and keeps your mind fresh because if you feel you are stagnant on one, you can work on another till you are motivated to return to the original.

That stress arguement is kinda shitty. He's getting paid decent dough by his fanbase to work on these games. When your boss asks you "Are you done those reports I asked for?" you can't reply with "Oh no, I was stressed out so I switched to something else for awhile." That's a good way to get in shit.

The problem is, as long as people keep shoveling him money, he can continue shelving projects as long as he wants because he knows it won't make a damn difference.

even if toonpimp listens to everyone and changes his pace of making or the style of his games... it wouldn't make any difference in quality. that is mainly because he has no talent and keeps leeching off of "people interested in furry things". they seem to be satisfied very easily... mhhh on the other hand there isnt much high quality furstuff.
i recommend ignoring everything related to tp and stop wasting time (or money) ... donate to toffi-sama instead.

I'm fairly certain most of us haven't ever donated to TP, considering the amount of bashing/criticism he gets around here.

But your right, he does live off the fact that interactive furry games are a very rare breed. His games and Project X being the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

And you know what? I haven't a problem with his lack of improvement. He still does better than I could ever have the patience for. But his attitude towards everyone around him is what makes me dislike him.

People wouldn't be as interested in him as they are if he didn't have any talent. He has, and he could make pretty good games, if he put more effort to polishing them. But he's a lazy cunt, so that's not going to happen.

Correct, it would be a consistent amount of quality games that makes you best.

However, TP cannot grasp neither the consistent or the quality part in my opinion. Which is a shame. I'm usually interested when he makes a new project, hoping it might be decent, but instead his RoR's seem to be the same set pieces as past projects abit re-arranged and maybe a new animation... which will probably be a slight alteration of another monster's animation. I can only watch two badly animated things rub against each other for so long.
