That's the problem with a one person development team, and if he loses a bit of time to distracting himself by indulging his own fetishes to avoid burnout, so much the better. Yes he lost 7 days of Botan 2 progress on his side venture, but he's still capable of working on this project so I'm not complaining.

His spaceship mini-game was also done as a stress relief side project, although this month's venture only ended up with a few visuals and animations. He may revisit this after Botan 2, he might not. It's not too dissimilar from the heroines of his past projects, which is what he sees as the main takeaway from his latest stress relief venture.

Am curious about what that third "mini game" he talked about is though. Sounds like he released it like the space one but I couldn't find anything in his ci-en. Also tried searching for it elsewhere but the only lead is the mtl part "long-gone tag" which is never going to get me anywhere. XD

昔に没になった鬼ごっこゲーム = An abandoned game of tag from the past which was never released.

Not a tag stating "long-gone", typical garbage machine translation. Only he has the files and design since he never released it to the public. Still counts as something he created, hence the screenshot.
 
Moar updates, namely finishing up the down/pinch situations for Botan. They look rather both cute and sexy, especially with the variety of custom outfits. Taking a break from doing the damaged outfits and instead pivoting to drawing the enemy sprites (same eyeless style as in Botan 1).

Ngl, it would be a lil sexy and cute if Botan had a bit of a fear wetting variation if she's knocked down and also terrified during defeat.
 
31st December post:

He lost development time due to wisdom teeth pain requiring extraction and then complications from weak immune system (cold, cough and muscle aches). What time he did have after recovery is preparation of the mob enemies' sprites. Humans so far, he'll start on the supernatural enemies next month.
 
New combat rape position, a showcase of the returning monster slug enemy from the previous game and a few more mob enemy sprites for January 2026.

It seems he's undergoing acupuncture sessions for his health. Even if he doesn't believe in it and is there for the placebo effect, he can feel the treatment working so whether or not he wants to keep paying to supplement his well being is up to him.

No substantial updates but more polishing of gameplay, sprites. etc. About a minute of gameplay of changing equipment/outfits and overworld transition into combat, which is pretty smooth. Hopefully we'll get playable trials soon.

I doubt it. He admitted as much progress for February wasn't great.
I do like the new equipment screen. It's a ton of work getting animations to reflect each and every single piece of equipment available and that's hard for one person to do.

I do like the idea for some monsters to have an icon differentiating those who can initiate H-attacks and the standard run of the mill enemies which can safely be killed for no loss to gallery collection. Too bad he doesn't take comments anymore, so he'll have to figure that part out on his own in the months ahead.
 
Another month of minimal progress due to time spent playing Slay the Spire 2.

What little progress he has made is 15 out of 50 planned animations for humanoid mob enemies.

I mean, I get him. Who wouldn't fall for the StS 2 drug. I'm already on 44h and I have exams to study goddamnit.

When you reach the 3rd act boss and die because of drawing no defense on their big hit turn, it really get that "fuck that bs, run it back" energy.
 
It's a good thing I myself don't play cardbuilders like StS and instead chose to play gacha games instead. Oh, wait...
 
I myself am currently using StS to try to pull myself away from my current gacha.

Back then, it was going play like a spritual successor to Red Collar but in RPG Maker MV and with a lot more clothing customization and other content that we see in Kunoichi Botan II. Head over to Media under Enokippu and scroll down a bit till you see images of Liebe. I'm attaching an image of what it looked like during development.

If Enokippu does come back to Liebe, I do hope they keep a lot of the same ideas as before. There's a certain charm and cuteness to the older games that I'm going to miss but KB2 sort of became what Liebe was before, based in japan rather than light novel fantasy (Enokippu was really into goblin slayer and the priestess girl while developing Liebe).

This looked so promising! He made a ton of art and animations for it, here's hoping he revisits it someday. I was rather excited about this one, it looked like it was Arena flavored but involving overworld adventure. I honestly dig his old systems and older artwork a bit more, but am happy enough if he makes anything successful enough to keep a paycheck earned their way.
