(for those old timer, you may realize that Onyx and Pearl appeared as cameo in Tomoyo Fighter, in fact, Sunohara and Kyou make a cameo appearance here too!)
Basically a magical girl series, the premise is that 5 girls were recruited to fight the evil enemy, mostly a parody to Precure, given the mob design.
For Onyx, you play the titular character Onyx, and basically the first game of the series (there's updated 1.20 vers, but I can't find it anywhere sadly).
For Pearl, you play the titular character... Pearl. Basically serves as spin-off and differences in story, with updated animation, and some difference in ending depending on your progressing through stages.
Control:
Z for everything outside the game, Inside the game it's punch
X for kick
C for jump. The way jump here works a bit weird. If you press C again mid-air, you'll spin in place, and if you press Kick + forward, the girl will do a flying sidekick. If you press C while spinning, the girl will do another jump, and pressing Z or C will either make you punch or kick (obviously).
ESC: Back to title (enter to confirm)
You can choose any stage you've done, in case you missed the animation there.
Branching will also be shown as blank diamond.
Fetish: As you guess, being notPrecure who fight monsters, the fetishes here are... monsters.
There's also difference between Pearl and Onyx when grabbed.
In Onyx, pressing on the blue space does nothing, only pressing on the black space the animation will play.
In Pearl, there are two animations for each enemy, depend on where you press the bar (blue or black space).
The animation is honestly so so, just the design of Pearl and Onyx are cute, thus why I make the thread (lol).
Sadly, the author seemed to stopped all their work already :/
