The woman doesn't seem to respond, except in vague mumbles. She suddenly moans loudly and lewdly, and Nillien hears a wet squishy sound coming from her, particularly from between her legs.

Thinking that there might still be a few smaller spiders left, Nillien slowly coats her hand in a layer of spiritual energy as she reaches down to the woman's nethers to try and pull whatever it is off. All the while, she is desperately trying to focus on the fact that she is trying to help to woman and not that she's reaching for another woman's crotch.

(I forgot about it when making the post a bit back, but the massive burst dispelled Nillien's blessing. Also, I'm going to spend 12 xp to increase her body score by 10 and her mind by 2)

(Okie dokie.)

Nilliens aid proves unnecessary, since just as she reaches for the womans crotch a small red orb slides out of the womans womb and onto the floor. It is followed by a half dozen more, and Nillien is suddenly made aware of her own slightly growing belly as she watches the captive female give birth.

As she watches the last egg slide free, the first begins to distort, as though something is trying to force its way out.

Panicking at the thought of the demon eggs hatching and knowing she can't waste any more energy after... that... Nillien starts picking up and throwing the eggs as hard as she can at the nearby walls. Hopefully the hatching demons would be weak enough to be killed by just that.

The eggs are fragile, and throwing them at the wall proves effective enough for the purpose of killing the newly born spider demons. Several of the other women begin screaming now, however, suggesting that they are all going to begin birthing soon.

Not good. Nillien mutters as she begins to stumble between the other women to try the same thing with the eggs they lay. She really didn't want to have to deal with any demons, especially when she didn't even know how quickly they grew.

All of the women seem to have been impregnated at once, as Nillien is forced to rush from one to the next in rapid succession, and some of the spiders hatch before she can reach them and scuttle off in various directions, disappearing in the mines various tunnels.

Well, they aren't attacking me... so that's good. Nillien thinks before trying to shake at least one of the women awake. She could explore the area later, she needed to get these women out of the area and out of danger now, however.

None of the women respond after giving birth, all of them unconscious or simply unresponsive, staring blankly at a wall with looks of disturbing contentment on their faces. The last one she comes to, however, looks up at Nillien and smiles from her position on the floor.

Hey, you're awake! Good, I need you to help me get the others out of here. We need to get you all to where you can be safe. Nillien says to the woman, hoping she might be better at waking the others that she had been.

The womans grin widens, and she slowly pulls herself off of the floor. Nillien notices two things, firstly, that the womans eyes are empty, and second, that she seems to have numerous tentacles growing along her front, some of them over a foot long, which she'd hidden under her body. Nillien backs away as she regains her feet and slowly starts walking toward the priestess, almost like a zombie, her tentacles waving and writhing slowly.

Wha... What happened to you? Stay back! Nillien cries out as she backs up. Closing her eyes, she seperates a slice of her spiritual fire and flings it at the woman. At the same time, she uses her spiritual senses to try not to trip over the women on the ground.

To-hit: 18 + 44 + 3 = 65 vs 20 = hit.
Damage: 2 + 6 = 8 x 2 = 16 damage.

Nilliens bolt of flame strikes the woman in the chest, but if she notices her flesh blackening under the fire, she doesn't show it.

Perception: Success.

As she stretches out with her spiritual senses, Nillien finds that all of the other women were getting up or had already done so, and were approaching her from all directions. The woman in front of her suddenly lunges, trying to wrap her arms and her tentacles around the priestess.

Grapple: 7 + 24 = 31 vs 34 = miss.

Nillien steps away from her as she lunges, but the priestess realizes that she is once again surrounded by enemies.

How... What...? Nillien starts wondering before deciding to fall back on the easiest and least troubling assumption: these women weren't humans, but were instead a type of demon. Hoping that not all of them were as unfeeling as the first, Nillien siphons off a portion of energy and expels it from her body in all directions, hoping to hurt most of the women.

Damage: 4 x 3 = 12 damage.

As her burst of flame hoes off, filling the room with white light, Nillien watches as the first of the strange women collapses, but the rest come at her, just as unfeeling as before.

Grapple: 17 + 24 = 41 vs 34 = hit.
Grapple: 20 + 24 = 44 vs 34 = hit.
Grapple: 10 + 24 = 34 vs 34 = hit.

Nillien is grabbed from behind by one of the woman, and two grab her legs while she flails helplessly. The one behind her gropes on of her breasts while holding the struggling priestess, sending a shiver down Nilliens spine.

Wha...?! No! Nonononono! Nillien stumbles out as she realizes the women are trying to capture her. Or at least that's what she hoped. The groping had to just be for a better grasp. Anyway, thinking it would be long before they had her in a position to make it difficult to use her spirit energy, Nillien once more draws out a portion of energy and sends it out in a wave through the demon women.

Damage: 1 x 5 = 5 damage. (Crap.)

In her panic, Nilliens blast isn't concentrated enough to deal serious harm to the women, who then proceed to try and pull her arms behind her back.

Grapple: 20 + 24 + 12 + 12 = 68 vs 7 + 16 + 3 = 26 == Enemy wins.

With a painful yank, Nillien finds herself held in such a way that she couldn't even use her spiritual powers, the painful yanking of her arms and legs making her unable to concentrate.

The pain in her arms blasting her eyes open, Nillien's unable to reach back to her core past the pain. Struggling frantically, she tries to free herself from the demon creatures before they try and eat her.
